Chapter 189: Chapter 189 Where Did This Dog Co From?

“Thank you, Mom.”

Xiao Yu smiled happily as he let his mother wipe his sweat and picked up the fan to fan her.

“Mom, I’m here too, I’m here too.”

The triplets, seeing their brother fan their mother, copied him and started fanning too.

Their old mother Susu blinked in alarm, afraid they might accidentally fan her face.

“Ouch, I’m so hot too, why is nobody fanning us?”

“Alas, our poor family, no one to fan us.”

“Sister-in-law and Uncle, don’t be sad, Pingping will fan you.”

“ too…”

“And , sister-in-law and uncle, don’t cry.”

The triplets amused the adults, who laughed heartily.

As soon as the group got off the car, they were hit by a stifling wave of heat and humidity, making their clothes seem instantly damp against their skin.

The group at the back were already feeling extrely hot after just a few steps.

anwhile, outside at the bus station, Brother Lu was waiting eagerly at the exit with his two daughters.

“Daddy, why haven’t second aunt and the younger siblings co out yet?”

“Don’t worry, they should be here soon.”

No sooner had he spoken than the group, carrying kids, ca into view.

“Elder sister, elder sister…” the triplets called out excitedly, waving their arms.

“Brother, Pingping and An’an and Lele.”

The two sisters were so excited they wanted to rush over.

“Brother.”

“Brother-in-law, Cheng He, Xiao Sun, co on, your sister-in-law has prepared a al and is just waiting for you all,” said Brother Lu, helping to carry things.

Chatting and laughing, they followed Brother Lu on a bus ride to the destination.

Before they even entered the house, they could sll the delicious scent of the food from afar.

“Elder sister-in-law.”

“Oh, Susu, Cheng He, Xiao Sun have arrived, go wash your hands, it’s ti to eat.”

Jiang Nan, apron-wrapped and with a brow beaded with sweat, smiled and gently touched the little ones, “Oh, welco Tianyu, Pingping and An’an, and Lele to co visit.”

“Alright, no need to stand around, let’s eat quickly, you must not have eaten well on the way.”

“Oh dear, look at , all I’ve done is talk.”

Susu wiped the sweat off her siblings, washed her hands clean, and then sat down at the table. Just by looking at the feast laid out, one could tell the elder sister-in-law had put in a lot of effort.

“It must have been hard work for elder sister-in-law to make all this food.”

“Second sister-in-law, don’t be polite, Cheng He, Xiao Sun, treat this like your own ho and eat up. Here things aren’t like back ho, we have to finish the food on the sa day, or it’ll spoil by evening.”

“Ah, thank you, elder sister-in-law.”

Susu smiled as she served the dishes to the children, “Sister-in-law, your cooking skills are getting better by the day, so delicious.”

“Hehe, though I can’t compare to your cooking skills, sister-in-law, at least it’s better than the average person.” Being praised for her cooking, Jiang Nan ate an extra half bowl of rice.

“Sister-in-law, your brother and I rented a place for you next door, you should stay and let the kids play for a few more days.”

“Okay, thanks to brother and sister-in-law.” Susu was a bit surprised but relieved, since the brother and sister-in-law had it sorted, it was safer than staying in a guest house with the kids.

After dinner, Susu helped clean up and made sure the children were settled at ho to play before heading to the wholesale market with Xiao Sun and Su Chenghe.

The trio took two bus rides before finally arriving at the wholesale market.

As usual, they purchased a batch of well-selling items and so of the latest models according to the list of shops.

The three of them expertly rented a cart to deliver the large and small packages of goods to the exit and then rented a tricycle to take care of the freight train matters at the railway station.

Susu suggested that the two n stay at a hostel for the night. Having past experiences with hostels, the two n only left ten yuan for ergency use, keeping the rest of their money in their underwear pockets without spending a di.

Susu, carrying bags full to the brim in both hands, made her way back to the rented house of Brother Lu and his elder sister-in-law by mory.

It took several turns to find the place, but Susu sighed in relief—thankfully, she wasn’t directionally challenged, or she might have ended up who knows where.

“Elder sister-in-law, I’m back.”

“Why did you buy so much stuff? We have everything at ho; you shouldn’t have spent so much.”

Susu smiled and waved the variety of bags in her hand, “They’re from the wholesale market, not expensive. Elder sister-in-law, where are the children?”

“The kids are sleeping in the next room; the kitchen was unbearably hot from cooking today; it’s cooler next door.”

The two sisters-in-law decided to simply lock up the house and sit next door.

The siblings sprawled across the bed, each sweating profusely from the heat.

“The weather here is stuffy and hot, unlike back ho where you can find cool shade under trees and in the shadows; here, when it gets hot, there’s nowhere to hide.”

“Exactly. It feels so humid.”

“Right. If it starts raining, the clothes won’t dry, not to ntion they’ll get musty.”

While chatting quietly, the two sisters-in-law fanned the children who had sweated through their sleep.

The siblings woke up and, seeing the clothes and toys on the wardrobe, couldn’t wait to change into the new clothes.

The boys got a few pairs of shorts, vests similar to old n’s, a pair of identical black sandals each, and a small gun each.

The girls all got dresses, skater dresses, vests, mini skirts, leggings, a pair of pink sandals each, and a large doll each.

An’an frowned upon seeing the large dolls her sisters had and ran to find her mother.

“Mommy, why do elder sister and younger sister have such big toys? Ours are so small.”

Susu nonchalantly soothed, “That’s because they cost the sa. Don’t be fooled by the size; yours are very expensive.”

Their mother, of course, wouldn’t admit it was to save space. Guns take up too much room and are too troubleso.

Upon hearing they were valuable, An’an imdiately ran off with a happy waddle to show off to her sister.

Lele, unimpressed, glanced at her brother’s black toy gun, then looked down and patted her doll comfortingly.

“Oh, baby, good baby, ti to sleep~”

When it got slightly cooler outside in the evening, the three adults took the six children out for a walk and to grab sothing to eat.

When Susu took out the torn cloth to guide the children, Jiang Nan’s eyes lit up, “Sister-in-law, that’s a great idea. It’s just… for so reason, it looks familiar.”

Susu couldn’t help but burst into laughter, “Do you think it looks like tying up a dog at ho?”

“Ha ha ha… It really does.” Jiang Nan clapped her hands.

Susu looked down and t several pairs of resentful little eyes, then coughed, “Mommy is doing this for safety. If a bad person were to snatch you, you could be beaten up, have your arms and legs broken, and be forced to beg on the streets with your tongue cut out.”

The triplets imdiately covered their mouths and whispered for mommy to tie them tighter.

Only after locking the door did they head to a nearby night market street.

Wary of the younger ones in crowded places, each adult carried a child and held another by the hand.

“Woof~”

Susu patted Lele’s little behind, “Oh, where did this dog co from?”

“Bark bark bark…”
