Fyar could only watch from a distance as Rasie and Zaefal fought fiercely. Unlike him, who was already exhausted, the two of them wore expressions of joy, as if truly enjoying every second of their exchange of sword attacks.

Fyar sighed, his gaze shifting to the sky whose color had begun to change to a deep orange, signaling that the day would soon end. His mind drifted. A week ago, he was still on Earth, training for missions, sparring with his dorm mates, and playing chess in his spare ti. Today, he was in a fantasy world, training with people who possessed strange powers beyond reason. He then wondered, is there anyone looking for back there? Does anyone care if I die?

The organization would probably just consider him lost in an accident, and then his position would be quickly filled by soone new.

Heh, such is the life of a tool. Fyar smiled bitterly at the thought. He felt that his life on Earth had been futile, aningless, and completely insignificant to anyone except for the interests of a group of people at the top.

Illya, who was sitting not far from him, noticed the change in Fyar’s expression. She tilted her head slightly, then asked in a gentle tone, "Is sothing on your mind, Fyar?"

Fyar gave a small laugh, slightly startled from his reverie, then shook his head. "No, it’s nothing. I was just rembering my hotown." After saying that, his expression returned to its usual calm, hiding the sadness that had just crossed his face.

He’s lying. But I won’t force him. Illya replied with an even softer smile. "I see. What is life like in your hotown, Fyar? If you don’t mind, could I hear about it mm?" Illya felt she needed to get to know Fyar on a deeper level. This man was quite mysterious, but Illya was sure he was a good person. Besides, they were going to be party mbers!.

Fyar leaned against the tree trunk behind him. He sighed again, his eyes returning to Rasie and Zaefal who were still fighting. His gaze was vacant, as though his body was here but his spirit was sowhere else.

"Perhaps very different from life here," Fyar said softly. He then added, "I really enjoyed my life as a teenager. Just like how people here enter an academy, I also went to school there. The system is similar, but it lasts for twelve years."

"Twelve years?!" Illya placed her palm over her mouth, her eyes wide with surprise. "T-that’s a very long ti." Twelve years??? I felt so lazy just going through four years at the academy. If it weren’t for my status as a noble, I definitely would have ESCAPE!!

Fyar laughed lightly at her reaction. "It is, isn’t it? I even skipped class often during those twelve years." He then fell silent for a mont, his smile fading slightly. "But you know, Illya, those twelve years were the best twelve years of my life."

Illya tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. "Why fyar?" For her, the academy days were the worst ti. She would never want to repeat them.

Fyar maintained his smile, this ti more sincere. "Because of the many beautiful mories I made with the people called friends. We went through so many foolish things, so much sadness, and so much joy together."

He then turned the question back to Illya. "What about you, Illya? What was your academy life like? Was it the sa as mine? The best thing that ever happened in your life?" I’m a little curious about the daily life of students in this world. Of course, Fyar could guess what her academy life was like from watching ani. But that’s all just the imagination of humans from Earth
