"No plase No."

"Hold on, Ryan. Ryan! Fuckk fucuuckkkk damn ittttt," Fyar’s voice sounded desperate.

Ryan’s breathing was heavy and ragged. Blood ca out from the corner of his lips.

Ryan’s trembling hand grasped the cold hand of his wife’s corpse.

"Fyar..."

"Shut up, shut up shut up shut up just fucking shut up!" Fyar pressed the wound harder.

"You will live ryan," Fyar said.

"You will live Ryan you will live asshole Ryan!!" Fyar pressed his palms harder against the hole in Ryan’s stomach. His arms trembled violently.

His eyes darted frantically between Ryan’s pale face and the gushing wound. The warm blood kept escaping through his fingers no matter how hard he pushed.

"No..no.no.no"

"No"

"Ryan!"

"You just felt the joy of retirent, don’t die asshole!! Everything you did was in vain!" Fyar shouted. Spittle flew from his mouth. His face was twisted in sheer desperation.

Fyar’s other colleagues began to arrive, returning fire at the enemy. The sound of gunfire beca louder.

"Fyar what are you doing?!" one of the won shouted while shooting.

Bang bang.

"Cover first Rita please!" Fyar shouted without turning. His eyes were glued to his dying friend.

Ryan stared at the blue sky that began to blur in his eyes. Tears mixed with blood flowed down his cheeks.

"I... I just wanted to get married, Fyar..."

Ryan smiled bitterly.

"Is it that hard?"

"Is it that hard to live a normal life for dirty people like us?"

"Fyar..."

"I thought... I could... live normally.. watch ani again.. go to the gym with my wife... bully your favorite football club every week and-"

Cough cough.

Ryan coughed blood. Dark red liquid spilled over his chin.

"Ryan Ryan listen to to Ryan"

"You will live normally Ryan hold on don’t be pessimistic yet damn it!" Fyar tried to plug the blood flow with his removed shirt. He used his whole body weight to apply pressure. But the shirt turned red in seconds.

"It’s u-useless Fyar..." Ryan cried, his eyes starting to lose focus.

His grip on his wife’s hand tightened. He slowly turned to his wife lying stiffly with empty open eyes.

"My reason to live is already gone damn it..."

"She is my world Fyar.."

Ryan’s lips quivered uncontrollably. He stared at Elena’s lifeless face with a look of pure heartbreak. Tears stread continuously from the corners of his eyes, pooling in his ears.

"She fucking accepted even though my past was that terrible Fyar.."

Ryan squeezed his eyes shut in agony. His chest heaved irregularly as he sobbed. He slamd the back of his head against the wooden floor in frustration.

"Damm it.."

"Dammit Fyar..."

"Dammit dammit... dammit!"

Ryan’s body went limp. The tension left his muscles. He opened his eyes, staring blankly at the sky. A look of acceptance washed over his pale face.

"I... am going to die huh?.."

Ryan turned his head slowly to look at Fyar. His gaze was glassy and unfocused. He smiled weakly, a faint and sad smile.

"Fyar.."

"Thank you..."

"Thank you for being my friend."

Ryan’s other hand reached for Fyar. His bloody fingers trembled in the air. He smiled softly at him while tears flowed down his cheeks.

"Even you crazy asshole stupid Bastard."

His fingers brushed Fyar’s cheek, leaving a sar of red blood. His voice was barely a whisper, fading away like smoke.

"Thank you for being my friend."

"No Ryan what u talking about!"

Fyar shook his head frantically. His pupils dilated in panic. He grabbed Ryan’s hand on his cheek, pressing it tight against his skin.

"Fuck! Don’t say like you gonna die asshole!"

"Ryan!"

Fyar’s eyes widened in horror. He shook Ryan’s shoulders roughly. His mouth opened in a silent scream.

Slowly.

Ryan’s grip weakened. His hand slipped from Fyar’s face and fell to the floor with a dull thud.

His eyes slowly lost their light, staring blankly at Fyar.

The sound of gunfire began to subside, backup had started to arrive.

The shooters began to die.

Fyar was silent. He knelt.

His best friend’s blood pooled on the floor. Soaking Fyar’s pants and shoes.

Fyar bit his lip until he tasted iron blood.

"Ryan... Ryan.. oi.."

His breathing was ragged. His vision blurred, the world felt spinning.

"Fyar?" His colleague’s greeting was heard from the side but Fyar seed not to hear it.

Fyar?

"Hah!?!"

Fyar jolted awake. He imdiately sat upright.

His breathing was fast and ragged. His heart pounded against his ribs. Cold sweat drenched his entire body.

He saw his half-naked body covered by a blanket.

I’m naked? What happened...

He felt his stomach and arms.

He turned to the large window.

There was no blue sky or sun.

Only eternal darkness with Purple Aurora light dancing slowly. Stone islands floated silently in the distance.

Oh... that was a dream...

Oh right I’ve been Isekai’d now...

Fyar raked his wet hair back. He felt his cheeks were wet.

Fyar stared at his palms. His hands trembled violently. The tallic sll of blood seed to still stick in his nose.

The mattress beside him moved.

Illya woke up. She rubbed her eyes gently.

Her body was also half-naked, only covered by the blanket up to her chest. There were faint red bite marks on her neck, cheek, and shoulder.

"Fyar?" Illya called with a hoarse voice typical of just waking up.

Illya’s eyes rounded when she saw Fyar’s heaving shoulders and wet face.

"Fyar, what’s wrong?!" Illya imdiately sat up straight, the blanket slipping a little. "You’re crying? What is it?"

"What happened?"

Fyar shook his head stiffly. He wiped his tears roughly with the back of his hand.

"Just a dream."

"Had a nightmare."

Fyar turned to Illya and forced a smile.

"Just a nightmare Illya."

Illya was silent. She saw the empty look in Fyar’s eyes.

"Fyar you-" Illya’s words stopped.

She spread both her arms.

And pulled Fyar’s head gently toward her.

Fyar complied. He buried his face in Illya’s chest. And hugged the girl tightly while holding back his sobs a little.

Illya hugged Fyar’s head tightly. Her hand stroked Fyar’s purple hair with a slow rhythm.

"Even if it was just a dream," Illya whispered. She kissed Fyar’s hair. "Let calm you, my Dear."

"Lean on ."

"No need to pretend to be strong just for tonight..."

"Just for tonight fyar."

"Give the privilege to see your weak self."

Fyar said nothing. His body trembled gently in Illya’s embrace.

Slowly he closed his eyes. He listened to Illya’s steady heartbeat.
