"I’m not repairing it," Amalia said, "I’ve changed my mind. I plan to use this opportunity to refine a new, suitable blade. The devil blades are mostly reforged. Although the city lord of the Sunshadow city is dead, the blade once bore his mark and had been nurtured by him for years. It’s not well-suited for ; it’s only usable as a temporary solution."

"Do you need to find more materials for you?" Kenny Lin asked, knowing that the refining materials Amalia had were not the best.

Amalia thought for a mont before declining, "No, it’s fine. We’re not familiar with the Double Cavern Secret Realm, so how would you know where to find the refining materials I need? And there might not be what I’m looking for here anyway."

Seeing that he couldn’t be of help, Kenny Lin said nothing more but looked thoughtful, as if he was plotting sothing.

After a while, he said, "Then I’ll go keep watch outside."

Amalia nodded her head and casually asked, "Nothing unusual has happened outside, right? No one has co here recently?"

"No, nothing has happened. I’ll keep watch, so you don’t need to worry. I won’t let any devils, humans, or demonic beasts approach the cave within a thousand ters of here."

Seeing his firm assurance, Amalia didn’t press further.

She selected so materials that she wouldn’t use and began repairing the devil blade.

This blade was of slightly higher grade, and she didn’t want to be without a usable good blade if she encountered a situation like a standoff with the Black Crested Gorilla from three days ago.

After more than an hour, she refined the selected materials and removed all impurities.

The final result was much smaller than the original amount.

"It’s a pity. If the grade of my Original Fla were higher, the results would probably be even better," Amalia said, frowning as she looked at the essence of the materials, "I wonder if the Double Cavern Secret Realm has any Natural Fla. It would be great if it did."

Though she said this, she didn’t hold out much hope.

Natural Fla was not easily found.

From what she knew, the highest-grade Natural Flas were extrely rare, requiring a specific ti and place for them to reach a certain level before they ca into existence.

While improving the grade of her Original Fla seed unlikely to happen at the mont, Amalia didn’t push the issue.

After repairing the devil blade, she began to refine a new blade that was suited to herself.

She used up all the materials she had collected during this ti.

The temperature in the cave rose significantly as her flas were released.

Kenny Lin, who is standing outside the cave, could also feel the heat.

Although Amalia always thought her flas were not of the highest grade, she felt that her Original Fla, even without the enhancent of Natural Fla, was superior to that of an average Artificer.

It was as if she was naturally standing on a higher starting line.

Even though she herself hadn’t realized this, but it was directly related to her higher standards for herself.

Kenny Lin collected his thoughts and shifted his gaze to the Crystal-Eyed Mink near the rocks, narrowing his eyes.

The Crystal-Eyed Mink shivered under his gaze.

It had actually found its way here a long ti ago.

The Double Cavern Secret Realm was its ho, and it was as familiar with this place as its own backyard.

However, it was precisely because it had arrived early that it could witness Kenny Lin’s bloody and thunderous thods firsthand.

In these three days, the number of demonic beasts killed by him ranged from hundreds to nearly a thousand.

Initially, he only dealt with the demonic beasts near the cave and spread their blood around the area.

While this deterred so of the weaker demonic beasts, it also attracted stronger ones.

Demonic beasts in the Golden Core stage wouldn’t fear the blood of their peers.

The scent of blood drove them into a frenzy; not all demonic beasts had rationality.

Although many demonic beasts were attracted, without exception, they were all killed by this human powerhouse.

As long as the demonic beasts weren’t on the verge of breaking through to the peak of the Golden Core stage, he easily slaughtered them.

The Crystal-Eyed Mink was the only demonic beast present that clearly witnessed the entire process, becoming increasingly fearful of this human.

Yet, it didn’t want to leave.

Tremblingly, it chose to stay, watching as this human cruelly slaughtered so many demonic beasts before its eyes.

"Let ask you, do you know if there is any red or other-colored fla in this secret realm that can instantly kill many demonic beasts? If you can provide useful information, I might allow you to follow ," Kenny Lin suddenly asked.

The Crystal-Eyed Mink looked bewildered.

Was this cruel human talking to it?

Seeing its sluggish response, Kenny Lin cursed under his breath, "it’s seems, it’s even dumber than Wealth. I might as well kill it."

The Crystal-Eyed Mink imdiately showed a terrified expression.

Was this human going to kill it?

"Can you understand ? How dare you not respond? Are you tired of living?"

Kenny Lin didn’t realize how childish his behavior was at the mont.

Afraid of death, the Crystal-Eyed Mink didn’t want to end up like its peers—caught by humans, forced into a slave contract, and eventually dying without a burial place.

It imdiately shook its head vigorously.

Kenny Lin furrowed his brow, "You understand? Then does that an you don’t comprehend what I an?"

The Crystal-Eyed Mink nodded again.

It truly didn’t understand what kind of fla could instantly kill many demonic beasts.

It had seen powerful humans before.

The Crystal-Eyed Mink looked at Kenny Lin with an expression he couldn’t decipher, its dark eyes staring at him.

If Kenny Lin knew what it was thinking, he would have smacked it to death.

He mistakenly believed the mink wasn’t too dumb, but it turned out to be quite stupid.

This little Mink doesn’t even know what flas are.
