"It’s a pity its integrity has been destroyed and it can’t unleash its true power," the Sea King lanted.
Amalia frowned, "If all the black fragnts were here, could you restore it to its original state?"
The Sea King gave her a aningful look and simply said, "Follow ."
Then, they began to circle the edge of the water vortex.
Just as Amalia was wondering what the significance of this action was, she noticed the incomplete black crystal changing color.
At first, she saw black light, as if evil was leaking out.
But now, looking again, the black crystal had clearly changed.
The leaking black light had turned white, becoming a beacon of light in the dark water vortex, a light to be chased in the darkness.
"What is happening?"
Amalia had already realized that it wasn’t the black crystal that had changed but rather the angle from which she was viewing it.
She had always thought the black crystal was entirely black and had never imagined that the other side would be white.
"This is a Yin-Yang Pearl," the Sea King explained, "I rember your Fruit Country has a saying, ’Yin and Yang complent each other.’ The white side is the primary ans of resisting the spatial rift, while the black side continuously absorbs energy from the rift. This energy, once inside the Yin-Yang Pearl, forms a balanced force that replenishes the white side. That’s my understanding."
"However, due to the black side’s incompleteness and the fragntation of the Yin-Yang Pearl, its effectiveness has been waning over the years."
Amalia suppressed her shock, "The mutated creatures can absorb energy from the black side but not the white side, which is why only the black fragnts are scattered. Now that you want to recover them all, are you confident?"
The Sea King gently shook his head, "Even if I retrieve all the black fragnts, I can only try."
Amalia wasn’t surprised by this answer.
