"You can choose to agree, or you can choose not to," Amalia said simply, tossing the decision into their hands.

The family of three huddled together, deliberating whether her proposition was worth considering.

After a few mont, the middle-aged man who is acted as their representative, asked, "So, you’re saying that if we testify and admit that my son, Eduardo Norierga, committed murder and smuggling, you’ll return the assets taken by Josu Urrutikoetxea and Ángel Solana to us?"

Three pairs of eyes fixed intensely on Amalia.

On the side, Ernesto rolled his eyes.

Clearly, Eduardo Norierga’s family cared more about their own well-being than the fate of their deceased family mber, even though it was their own flesh and blood.

"That’s correct," Amalia nodded slowly.

"How do we know if what you’re saying is true? Will you deceive us?"

The middle-aged woman who is eager at the prospect of reclaiming her forr wealthy lifestyle, spoke despite her pain.

"The promises we make will be kept," Ernesto interjected.

But the middle-aged woman paid him no heed.

She could tell that Amalia was the one in charge.

Ernesto frowned.

These ungrateful people, how could they possibly keep the ill-gotten gains acquired through these people for themselves?

But he worried that Amalia might agree, so he interjected.

"Even if i promise you. Will you believe us? Now, you have no choice. Either you die or make testify. You need to understand that those who can testify are not limited to you," Amalia’s gaze turned cold, "Anyone can make testify."

Ernesto looked surprised.

It seed his worry was for naught.

The middle-aged couple weren’t truly foolish.

Normally, they pretended to be ignorant, but with Amalia’s words, they understood.

If they couldn’t provide a satisfactory answer to these two, they could easily turn to Josu Urrutikoetxea and Ángel Solana.

Either of them could testify against them.

"Very well, we agree," the middle-aged woman gritted her teeth, deciding to take a chance.

"lisa," the middle-aged man quickly nudged her, concerned about the consequences if these people changed their minds.

The middle-aged woman signaled with her eyes for him to calm down.

Agreeing ant they had nothing to lose.

If they didn’t agree, they would return to their previous destitute life, barely able to survive, with no food or shelter and living in a dilapidated house.

It was better to take a gamble.

Even if they lost the bet and couldn’t reclaim their assets, they could start anew sowhere else and make so money.

Amalia didn’t bother to guess the middle-aged woman’s intentions.

Without hesitation, she stood up.

"Ernesto, take them away and hide them well. Don’t let the Yoder family find them. Otherwise they’ll kill them in order to silence them."

Ernesto admired her decisiveness, "I got it."

"What do you an? How are our lives in danger?"

The middle-aged woman anxiously asked upon overhearing their conversation.

"Naturally, there are those who don’t want you to testify. If you don’t want to die, then be honest," Amalia glanced at her.

The middle-aged woman’s eyes imdiately widened in realization.

So there was another layer to this.

Did that an if they found soone unwilling to testify against them, they would gain the upper hand?

If both sides were vying for support, how much money would they have to offer?

Would both sides have to agree?

Her expression gave away her thoughts too clearly, written all over her face.

Amalia smiled faintly, "Of course, you can choose to seek out those people too. But I can assure you, killing you is more cost-effective than paying you money to keep you quiet."

"Now, you have no second choice. We can find you, and those assassins will eventually co knocking your door. If you don’t cooperate, perhaps tomorrow, you’ll just be a lifeless corpse."

Amalia’s gentle smile sent shivers down the middle-aged woman’s spine, making her feel the pain in her thigh even more intensely.

This woman was like a devil.

The couple dared not entertain any more wicked thoughts at this point.

Even their granddaughter remained silent, cowering and afraid to speak.

This whole family could be described as cunning and opportunistic.

While they weren’t stupid, they certainly weren’t brainless either.

They had been paying attention since the Eduardo Norierga and Diego Luna incident began.

Ernesto had just been wondering if it was worth explaining to them, but now he realized there was no need.

They were already completely subdued.

"Amalia, you’re really sothing. You hit them where it hurts as soon as you spoke, even better than ," Ernesto remarked as they left the dangerous situation.

Ernesto couldn’t help but admire her.

He had honed his skills in the chaotic rcenary market for over a decade, but Amalia was different.

He heard she used to be from a wealthy family.

Amalia smiled without responding.

She wasn’t experienced; she just understood these people’s psychology.

"But Amalia, where would be the best place to hide them? If the Yoder family finds out we’re looking for Eduardo Norierga’s family, it won’t be safe anywhere," Ernesto expressed his concern.

"That’s why I don’t plan on letting them find out. My focus is on Eduardo Norierga’s family," Amalia replied.

Ernesto’s eyes lit up, "Are you saying we’ll return to rcenary Market and still look for Josu Urrutikoetxea and Ángel Solana? Creating the illusion that our target is these two people and diverting attention?"

"Exactly. But..." Amalia’s smile faded, her tone turning serious, "What we can think of, the Yoder family can too. Eduardo Norierga’s family needs to be well hidden. I’ll make so noise to ensure the Yoder family doesn’t have a chance to think too much about it."

Of course, there were also people from the Astral Demoniaco Sect, but Amalia didn’t explicitly ntion it to Ernesto.

Ernesto glanced at the three people in the room.

"Where should we hide them?"

Amalia pondered for a mont, "Let my Aunt co and take them away. Let’s temporarily place them with Grand Uncle over there."
