"You don’t need to say it; I know," Imuji said coldly while glaring at him with his vertical pupils.

"You failed to guard the castle this ti, and I should hold you accountable. However, considering the current shortage of manpower, I won’t punish you for now. Go redeem yourself."

"Thank you, my Lord, for giving the opportunity to make up for my mistakes," the deep-sea creature said without complaint.

anwhile, Wealth had eaten two black fragnts in a row and couldn’t consu any more.

Amalia could feel that its energy was reaching its limit and didn’t dare let it eat any more.

Wealth was restless due to a full stomach and scratched at a rock, producing a sharp sound.

Amalia found the noise particularly grating, so she cut down a tree and let Wealth scratch its claws on the trunk, which finally stopped the annoying noise.

With an outlet for its frustration, Wealth beca less agitated, and the blood-red color in its eyes appeared less frequently.

After a day, it finally cald down.

Amalia stroked its fur and found it prickly, so she handed it to Kenny Lin.

"Son, your mother dislikes you now," Kenny Lin said, taking pleasure in Amalia’s discomfort.

Wealth didn’t believe him and turned its back on him.

Its owner treated it well and wouldn’t dislike it.

Kenny Lin snorted, "Ti will prove everything."

Amalia cleared her throat, "Alright, stop joking. Now let’s go find the blue skin tree."

This was the only task left, and once it was done, things would be much easier.

"I have an idea," Kenny Lin said.

"What idea?" Amalia asked.

There were many places in the central disaster zone suitable for the blue skin tree’s growth, and even knowing so of the tree’s characteristics, it was still challenging to find.

Amalia had already prepared herself for a long search.

Kenny Lin smiled mysteriously, "What is there the most in the central disaster zone?"

Amalia thought for a second, "Trees."

Kenny Lin imdiately looked disappointed, "My Wife, please be serious."

For once, their roles were reversed.

Amalia shrugged, "Which of your eyes suggests I’m not serious?"

"My two sharp eyes can see it," Kenny Lin gestured to his eyes.

Amalia remained unfazed, "All I see is deep eyes."

Kenny Lin suddenly leaned in close, nearly face-to-face, and said eagerly, "Then why don’t you help get the gunk out of my eyes?"

Amalia pushed his face away without emotion, "You win. Let’s talk about the serious matter. Besides trees, what else is there in the central disaster zone?"

Kenny Lin seed unsatisfied, "Why did you give up so quickly?"

Amalia responded, "I guess I’ve beco immune."

Kenny Lin’s eyes wandered, landing on Amalia’s chest. "If you beco immune so quickly, does that an you’ll beco immune to other things if I do them repeatedly?"

Amalia noticed his gaze on her chest and imdiately rembered the ti when she get taken advantage by him in the water.

Thinking about it now, it brought her back that feeling, causing her to scowl and threaten, "Are you going to tell the serious matter or not?"

Kenny Lin pursed his lips, "Fine, then. Gather more mutated creatures and have your son ask them. We should be able to find information about the blue skin tree."

This approach seed promising.

"Alternatively, you could have your son sneak into so mutated creatures’s territories to investigate. Since they’re all mutated creatures and it moves quickly, it shouldn’t be in mortal danger."

Amalia said, "That carries so risks, so let’s try the first option first."

Both of them were quick to act, so as they traveled to places they hadn’t been before, they captured so mutated creatures along the way to question.

Amalia drew a picture of the blue skin tree, and Wealth simply showed the image to the mutated creatures to see if they recognized it.

They walked for a long ti but didn’t encounter any mutated creatures who knew about the blue skin tree.

During their break, they discussed whether they might be going in the wrong direction.

"The blue skin tree likes arid conditions, and this area has the fewest water sources. Unless the blue skin tree is in a more remote area," Amalia speculated.

Although it seed like a discussion, she was the only one speaking.

Kenny Lin paid no attention; he was only responsible for following along and handling the physical task of capturing mutated creatures.

"It seems we need to keep moving forward," Amalia concluded.

"What’s that?" Kenny Lin suddenly spoke up.

Following his line of sight, Amalia saw a group of mutated creatures running down a distant hillside.

They didn’t appear hostile and they clearly unaware of their presence.

There were about a dozen land-type mutated creatures with sharp features; the weakest among them were at Level 6, and the strongest one at Level 9.

The two mutated creatures who is leading the group occasionally made sounds similar to communication.

"Wealth, what are they saying?"

Amalia asked her son after the mutated creatures ran into the dense forest.

She also took out a few spirit beads for him.

Wealth tilted its head and thought for a mont before jumping down from the tree to find a large stone.

About the size of an adult head, it kicked it to the base of the tree.

The spirit beads separated into two groups; several individual beads ca together, and Wealth gathered them together, making chirping noises for a mont before they all returned to their original positions.

"So, you’re saying that two groups of mutated creatures plan to unite against the object this stone represents?" Amalia repeated.

Wealth happily nodded its head.

"Is this large stone representing another high-level mutated creature?"

Wealth shook its head and pointed its paw at her and Kenny Lin.

"Are they plotting against us?" Amalia guessed.

Wealth shook its head again, still pointing at them.

Kenny Lin told Amalia, "Next ti, teach it to write. Otherwise, help it increase its strength quickly until it can speak. I’m tired of guessing."

Both options were challenging.

Since it wasn’t his responsibility to teach Wealth, Amalia ignored him.

When she saw Wealth’s eagerness, she suddenly had an idea.

"Could the large stone represent a human city?"

Wealth imdiately started celebrating joyfully.
