Arthur Rodriguez and his wife were in the living room watching the news.

The heartwarming scene of the couple made Amalia's mind recalling the images of their family of four having fun together.

those heartwarming scene didn't belong to the original owner; it was an atmosphere she couldn't fit into no matter how hard she tried, as she had been rejected from the very beginning.

"Amalia, why are you back? Weren't you out having fun with Alex and Grace?" Arthur Rodriguez turned his head upon hearing footsteps, and seeing Amalia returning alone.

Mrs. Rodriguez cast a faint glance at her, her lack of expression revealing that while they were on the sa side as her children, she privately held no affection for Amalia, mainly because Arthur Rodriguez had cautioned her.

"They're still at the club, playing with friends. I ca back early because I wanted to talk to you about sothing, Uncle." Amalia tugged at her tightly buttoned collar gently.

The clothes she was wearing didn't quite fit the original owner's physique; they were all sent by Mrs. Rodriguez.

They were either a size too big or a size too small, but the original owner never made complained about it.

Arthur Rodriguez raised an eyebrow, not because of Amalia words, but due to her attitude and tone.

It was as if she had suddenly gained confidence, and her gaze beca firr, with a touch less warmth.

"What are you going to say to ?"

Arthur Rodriguez always felt that his niece's temperant had changed after she went out for a trip.

"I want to move out from this house."

Amalia's understatent was like throwing a bomb into the seemingly calm water of the Rodriguez family.

"Why did you suddenly have this thought? Did soone say sothing to you?"

Arthur Rodriguez's gaze shifted to Mrs. Rodriguez as he spoke.

Having been a couple for decades, Mrs. Rodriguez imdiately understood his husband gaze.

She then stood up to make a call, and summoning Alex Rodriguez and Grace Rodriguez to go ho.

"No one said anything to . It's just that my parents taught from a young age to live up to my conscience. Uncle has treated very well, but I can't keep bothering you like this. In fact, I've been working and saving so money for a year. I can totally stand on my own now." Amalia got straight to the point, and caught Arthur Rodriguez off guard.

"Are you working? Doesn't your aunt give you pocket money every month? If it's not enough, you can talk to your uncle. There's no need to move out," Arthur Rodriguez didn't want her to move out; he wasn't accustod if things were slipping out from his control.

"The pocket money from my aunt is being kept in an account, and it was untouched. Due to my parents' teachings, I can't use others' money without a clear conscience. Thank you, Uncle, but my decision is final," Amalia said calmly.

She was just informing, not asking.

"How could your uncle be considered 'others'..." Arthur Rodriguez saw a stubbornness in her eyes, which reminding him of his late sister who had run away from ho.

She had been just as determined as her.

She wouldn't chage her decision once it was made.
