Gustavo Herrera also couldn’t accept it either, but he knew they had to consider the bigger picture first.

It wasn’t the right ti to act now.

While the two of them decided to swallow their pride, the onlookers who observing Amalia repairing the artifacts began to dispersed one after another.

Those people with problematic Artifacts had handed them over to Amalia.

She instructed them to co back again the next day to collect them, so the two of them were unaware about the situation on this side.

The legion were set up the tents for the night and the soldiers taking turns on guard duty.

"What are you doing here?" Amalia had just finished setting up her tent when Kenny Lin unceremoniously barged in to her tent.

"What’s wrong with husband and wife sleeping in one tent?" Kenny Lin retorted confidently.

"Who said we’re husband and wife? If you want to be a husband and wife, don’t drag into it," Amalia replied calmly, her face showing no change in response to his remarks.

Kenny Lin said, "I’m not dragging you into anything. I just want to play in the water with you, like a pair of mandarin ducks."

"If you want to sleep outside tonight, you can go ahead and say so," Amalia replied expressionlessly.

"In that case, I won’t say anything," Kenny Lin imdiately fell silent as a chicken.

To so extent, he really did looks similar in so aspects with that lumina scale komodo.

Amalia didn’t bother thinking about whether she was falling into Kenny Lin’s trap again.

Overthinking would only anger her to the point of internal injury.

At night, most of the soldiers had already entered into their regular sleep patterns, while Amalia was still inside her tent repairing everyone’s Artifacts.

After watching for half an hour, Kenny Lin lost interest.

He then lay down on the bed sheets that Amalia had laid out and patting the spot next to him.

"Baby, aren’t you coming to sleep?"

"You go ahead and sleep," Amalia replied, turning away from him, avoiding eye contact.

"Without you, how can I sleep?" Kenny Lin asked while wearing an expression that looked like a deeply aggrieved wife.

"In that case, don’t sleep. Go out and help people guard the camp," Amalia suggested.

"I only guard my girlfriend. I don’t care about others," Kenny Lin shook his head.

Now he wearing an expression that looked like soone whose in deep affection.

Luckily, Amalia couldn’t see it at the mont, or else it might have caused her to fail in her repairs due to laughter.

Under Kenny Lin’s persistent pestering, Amalia persevered through the night and managed to repair the more severely damaged Artifacts.

The next day, soldiers who had received their repaired Artifacts rushed over to Amalia with joyful expressions on their faces.

As they received their Artifacts and confird that they had been repaired and even improved, just like Fabio Zelaya’s, they were so excited that they almost knelt down to thank her.

Amalia didn’t charge them with an exorbitant prices; so of the soldiers could afford it, while others couldn’t, so they temporarily owed her.

Other soldiers, seeing that Amalia had managed to repair even severely damaged Artifacts, instantly felt relieved, knowing their own Artifacts would likely be secure as well.

The whole morning was filled with joy and happiness.

After a night of turmoil inside his tent, Gustavo Herrera decided to go out and clear his mind.

He hadn’t gone far with his friend when Fabio Zelaya and other comrades approached from the opposite direction, chatting and laughing.

Seeing his haggard appearance, they couldn’t help but express surprise.

"Gustavo, what’s wrong with you?"

Seeing them reminded Gustavo Herrera about their conversation from yesterday, and feeling embarrassed when he rember it.

He was about to brush it off when his well-inford comrade beside him blurted out:

"It seems like his Artifact got damaged during repairs by Commander Weisman."

"Damaged? Why don’t you try getting it fixed by Amalia, she’s really good. Many of us have had our Artifacts repaired by her, and not only that, she even improved their attributes," Fabio Zelaya imdiately suggested.

His expression was sincere, devoid of any hint of mockery, yet Gustavo Herrera still felt awkward.

Just as he was about to refuse the offer, his friend suddenly nudged him.

"Fabio Zelaya is right. Why don’t you give Amalia a try? Your Artifact is important."

As the words of refusal lingered on his lips, Gustavo Herrera hesitated.

Was he going to agonize over a point of pride, or would he set aside his ego to save his Artifact?

"Amalia, I’ve brought soone else for you," a few minutes later, Fabio Zelaya brought Gustavo Herrera to Amalia.

"This is Gustavo Herrera. His Artifact has so issues, and he’s hoping you could take a look."

Amalia Guang’s face showed embarrassnt; he wanted to stop Fabio Zelaya from shouting loudly but didn’t have the chance.

"Let see the artifact," Amalia said without any pleasantries, getting straight to the point.

Gustavo Herrera breathed a sigh of relief.

He liked this straightforward personality and he imdiately handed over the artifact to her.

"Has this artifact been repaired by soone?" Amalia noticed remnants of another Artificer’s work after just one glance.

"Yes, it has. Can’t it be repaired?" Gustavo Herrera thought Amalia would be mind if another Artificer had repaired the artifact.

"It can be repaired. The person who repaired it chose the right materials, but they couldn’t fuse them together because they were missing a certain material. They then forcibly tried to fuse them, leading to the artifact’s collapse. So, your artifact’s condition is quite serious. I’ll need a little bit more ti to repair it."

"As long as it can be repaired, I’m willing to wait, regardless of how long it takes, and the price isn’t an issue." Gustavo Herrera was pleasantly surprised.

He hadn’t harbored any hope, but now that the other party said it could be repaired, he wouldn’t have any regrets even if it didn’t work out.
