Wealth imdiately pounced on Amalia. "Mother, Big Dad wants to hit ! What if he smacks the mories out of my head?"

"How fragile is your brain?" Kenny Lin scoffed as he reached out.

Wealth couldn’t dodge in ti and took a slap to the head, making his face tilt to the side.

He huffed angrily. "Hmph! I’m not talking to you anymore!"

Amalia smacked Kenny Lin in return—he was always bullying their son.

Seeing Big Dad get hit, even if Mother didn’t use much force, filled Wealth with satisfaction.

This was probably the first ti he had the upper hand against Big Dad.

The realization made him feel energized, and his mood lifted so much that he ended up saying a little more than he originally intended.

"Actually, if we analyze the strand of black essence from Big Dad and work backward, it’s not hard to deduce where the corresponding white essence cos from."

"For example?" Both of them looked at him simultaneously.

Wealth grinned smugly. "Black essence represents destruction—it is death. When people die, they enter reincarnation, and through that process, they are transford into new life. By the sa logic, white essence is related to life and is also connected to humans."

"You an newborns?" Amalia mused.

Wealth shook his head. "I can’t say for sure. If it were just about newborns, it wouldn’t be so hard to find. So, it’s impossible to be certain."

Back when the Beast God encountered the Yin-Yang Pearl or Reincarnation Pearl, there was no ntion of black or white essence.

Soone might have known their purpose, but even the Beast God didn’t understand how they worked in conjunction with the pearl.

Amalia was a little concerned.

Even though Kenny Lin always acted like it wasn’t a big deal, the fact that it was still attached to him ant it could beco a problem at any mont.

It was a hidden danger.

Moreover, even if sothing did happen with the Yin-Yang Pearl, she suspected that drama king beside her would only report good news and hide the bad news one from her.

"What do you think?"

Kenny Lin shrugged his shoulder. "We’ll figure it out as we go."

Amalia had no better solution either.

For now, this was the only option.

Before heading to Planet Neo-Shengis, she and Kenny Lin didn’t rush to leave.

The small world was still in a critical stage of developnt.

With the sudden influx of humans, they were in a period of adjustnt, and conflicts could easily arise.

Amalia needed to oversee things for a while.

By the afternoon, she called for Nazir.

"How are things with the human settlent?"

Nazir bowed deeply. "Thanks to both Immortals, things are stable for now. Each human settlent is constructing their own towns, but the population has grown too fast. A large section of the forest has already been cut down, and a lot of wildlife has disappeared. I’m a bit worried we won’t have enough food."

"The plants won’t be a problem. As for wild animals, if they’ve been eaten, then there’s nothing we can do for now. They’re hard to find anyway. Tell everyone to make do with a vegetarian diet for the ti being."

The Solvaris Star System had long since been stripped of life.

Humans couldn’t survive there for extended periods, and the survival rate of plants and animals was near zero.

There was no chance of finding even a trace of living creatures.

The aliens had ensured the humans’ als by importing food from other star systems.

"Going vegetarian won’t be an issue. People were stuck on the mining planets for so long, and the aliens only fed them plant-based food. So of them might not even be able to digest at properly yet. But..." Nazir hesitated.

"Speak freely."

"Yes, Ms. Immortal. The problem is that so people aren’t in good health—especially those who stayed on the mining planets the longest. Their bodies have suffered years of radiation exposure and are riddled with internal damage. Even though their living conditions have improved, more and more people have been collapsing in recent days," Nazir said worriedly.

Kenny Lin nudged Amalia. "This is what they call the pillow appearing just when you’re about to fall asleep."

Amalia turned to Nazir. "I understand. I’ll handle this. Gather the people with worst cases in an open area by tomorrow morning—I’ll co treat them."

"Understood!" Nazir’s face lit up, and he imdiately went to spread the good news to the leaders on each human settlent.

Once he was gone, Amalia looked at Kenny Lin. "Do you have any healing skills?"

Kenny Lin replied coolly, "I only know how to kill."

"Well, I wasn’t expecting much from you anyway."

She had never seen him heal anyone before—any patient in his hands would be lucky to survive the treatnt.

Amalia went around asking, and in the end, she discovered that Wealth knew a little bit about healing.

The mother and son duo decided to work together to treat the sick by harvesting faith energy.

"Hey, hey! You’re just leaving behind like this?" Kenny Lin protested when he saw them preparing to go without him.

"You stand guard outside, just in case sothing happens that we’re unaware of."

Kenny Lin wanted to say more, but Amalia had already sent him out.

What she didn’t know was that this decision would give Khalil and the others a heart-pounding day.

What kind of kindness could make soone express genuine gratitude?

Without a doubt, it was sothing tied to their very survival.

Amalia had been considering whether her previous efforts weren’t enough, unsure of how to strengthen their faith in her.

She hadn’t expected the opportunity to present itself so quickly.

A hundred human settlent, each with over a million people—a population as large as a Big city.

However, the truly terminally ill weren’t as many as expected.

It wasn’t because they were particularly resilient, but rather because most of the weakest one had already perished.
