His biggest concern had been that the Immortal might take the two battleships with her, but now, he was reassured.

anwhile, after leaving the palace, Miralles and Xiano were heading back to inform Jai, when a tall man walked towards them.

The man radiated imnse energy as he walked with confidence, his eyes sharp and electrified.

Upon locking eyes, both Miralles and Xiano could tell that this man’s strength might be on par with theirs.

Rafael, after receiving the gift from Kenny Lin, had been practicing day and night.

Having found the right thods, his progress was now much faster.

The dicinal pill he had taken, related to his physical condition, had also helped remove a lot of hidden injuries and impurities in his body.

His physique was becoming more and more pure, and his cultivation was speeding up.

Of course, with rising cultivation, the progress would eventually slow down, and like Amalia and Kenny Lin, he might eventually reach a bottleneck.

Understanding these benefits, Rafael now fully appreciated the advantages of aligning himself with those two.

Lately, he’d been practicing while also supervising his subordinates to investigate matters.

This effort bore fruit.

Although the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth had been trying to cover their tracks, their involvent in the Erythar Star System ant higher chances of dealing with the underground black market.

This led to so clues being uncovered by Yevon and Anto.

Rafael had co to the royal court precisely for this matter.

After recovering from his previous injuries, he had moved out of the royal court and rented a villa nearby.

Seeing Miralles and Xiano, Rafael felt a slight chill.

These two were no pushovers, and if a fight broke out, he might not be able to handle them.

He had encountered many cultivators from the Draconis Empire, but these two were unfamiliar.

They had to be envoys from the Pleiades Star System.

Rafael tensed up, knowing that people from the Pleiades Star System were generally arrogant and looked down on those from the Erythar Star System.

What if these two suddenly attacked him...

His thoughts were interrupted when the two rely glanced at him before swiftly walking away, seemingly avoiding him.

He was montarily stunned.

Had he not yet reached the point where they would fear him?

Or had they sensed his potential?

It wasn’t until he saw Amalia that the thought crossed his mind again.

Wait, he suddenly realized that Amalia was heading in the sa direction the other two had left.

"What’s wrong?" Amalia glanced at him, noticing his strange expression.

Rafael chuckled lightly, "Ms. Amalia, I just saw the envoys from the Pleiades Star System on my way here. They saw and avoided . Is it because of you?"

Amalia instantly understood and smiled. "It’s not because of , but it is related to Kenny."

Rafael imdiately beca respectful.

If it was Mr. Kenny, he understood.

No wonder the envoys from the Pleiades Star System acted like startled birds—they must have been taught a lesson by Mr. Kenny.

"You ca to see today—does it have anything to do with the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth?"

"Yes, I’ve had my subordinates gather information on the Holy Gate of the Heaven and the Earth, and we’ve finally made so progress." Rafael said seriously.

Amalia nodded. "Let’s talk about it in the Ember Throne Hall."

Rafael followed her to the Ember Throne Hall.

Knowing she wouldn’t want to hear any small talk, he got straight to the point.

"The Pleiades Star System and the Erythar Star System may be far apart, but every year, a large cargo ship travels back and forth between the two systems. The partner of the cargo ship is the Sable Andalus League, and space pirates love to hijack these cargo ships. So, the Sable Andalus League sends people along every year. I had people retrieve the data from the cargo ship company, and after cross-referencing it with the people involved in the underground black market transactions, we found several people whose identities match. They are very likely the ones who destroyed the Vanquez family."

Amalia remained expressionless and didn’t respond.

Rafael then pulled up the relevant data and a few pictures from his terminal.

"Are these the ones?" Amalia’s gaze was deep as she studied the images.

The pictures showed two n wearing clown masks, and another man without a mask, but whose entire face was covered in tiger tattoos.

His eyes were like a tiger’s eyes, and when he stared at others, it felt as if a tiger itself was locking its gaze on them.

"Yes, these three." Rafael replied.

"How can you be sure they’re a group, especially since the two n with masks don’t have the sa tattoo on their hands as the man with the tiger tattoo?" Amalia asked, although she still saved the three images.

"Because they’ve communicated with each other and appeared together on the cargo ship, as well as in the underground black market. It’s possible not all mbers of the group have the sa tattoo on their hands; so might have them elsewhere, or even none at all."

Rafael transferred the data to her. "Take a look at these. The results from the data comparison should be accurate."

"Over 24 year old data, I can’t believe you were able to find it." Amalia glanced at him.

"Also, Ms. Amalia, your luck must be extraordinary." Rafael complinted her.

Amalia laughed softly. "In half a month, the battleship from the Pleiades Star System will be returning. The royal family will select a group of people to go with them. It’s an opportunity, but also a risk. If you want to go just sign up."

After Amalia left, Rafael snapped back to reality, suddenly overco with excitent.

It was both an opportunity and a risk—he understood that.

But the difference was that it was Amalia who had brought it up, not him.

If sothing were to happen in the Pleiades Star System, Amalia would surely rember the help he had given by gathering all this information and would help him out.
