With that, she entered her small world.
Inside, Amalia appeared in front of a thatched hut.
A little girl with two pigtails, holding a broom taller than herself, was struggling to sweep the courtyard.
She had her back to Amalia and hadn’t noticed her arrival.
The little girl was Sofia, the younger sister of Javier.
She was only five years old, while Javier, though appearing mature, was rely ten.
Their parents had been killed by aliens.
With a sudden thud, Sofia turned around, startled at the sight of Amalia.
The broom slipped from her grasp and fell to the ground.
Recognizing Amalia, Sofia imdiately turned around and dashed into the hut, shouting, "Brother, the great hero is here!"
Great hero?
Amalia froze for a mont before realizing the little girl was referring to her.
Monts later, Javier rushed out, his eyes lighting up at the sight of Amalia.
"Gret Hero, I’ve been taking good care of the little beasts! Are you here to see them?"
Amalia nodded while taking a quick glance inside the hut, but she didn’t see Wealth.
"Where’s Wealth?"
"Wealth is at the altar," Javier answered obediently.
"I’ll go check. Stay here."
Amalia finished speaking and instantly teleported to the Pixiu inheritance ground.
The inheritance ground was located on a high mountain where a palace stood.
The palace was a replica Amalia had built, modeled after the forbidden grounds of the Pixiu, though much simpler in design.
She had moved the inheritance site into the palace.
Curious about what Wealth was doing there, Amalia took a look—and was surprised to see a particularly amusing scene.
Wealth was lounging on the only throne in the grand hall, legs crossed.
In front of him, five newborn Pixiu lay on the ground, seemingly worshipping a Beast God.
Their fur hadn’t even fully grown in, making them look anything but dignified—if anything, they looked comically absurd.
"From now on, I am your master. If I say go east, you must never go west. If I say west, you can’t go east. Understood?" Wealth declared with a serious expression.
Despite his authoritative tone, he himself was still in his puppy form, only slightly larger than the newborn Pixiu.
The five little beasts let out uneven cries, but their tails wagged in perfect unison.
"More discipline! That wasn’t serious at all!" Wealth complained.
"How serious do you want it?" Amalia, unable to keep watching, stepped inside.
"Mother, why are you here? I’m training them!" Wealth’s eyes lit up at seeing her, but he didn’t get off his seat.
Amalia frowned slightly. "Get down. You’re not even that old yourself, yet you’re sitting there with your legs crossed."
Wealth pouted. "No way! I’m the future Beast God! In front of my subjects, at least give so dignity, Mother."
"Do you need to say it again?" Amalia asked calmly.
Wealth glanced at her expressionless face, then slowly uncrossed his legs and hopped down from the throne.
Imdiately, the five little Pixiu turned their heads in unison, gazing at Amalia in admiration.
"Let them go train. You, co with . I have sothing to ask you." Amalia spoke and walked outside.
Seeing the little beasts looking at him expectantly, Wealth huffed, "What are you looking at? Go train!"
The five little ones imdiately scattered.
Outside the palace, Amalia explained her and Kenny Lin’s situation to Wealth and asked if he knew the cause.
Wealth thought for a mont. He hadn’t considered this issue before. "If I’m not mistaken, it’s because the laws of this universe are different. This is a universe where technological civilization has advanced rapidly. The rules were set long ago, which is why you can’t break through to a higher level."
"Then why are there cultivators in this world?" Amalia couldn’t quite understand.
If the universe’s laws were different, then cultivators shouldn’t exist at all.
"Things that fit within the rules can exist, but things beyond the rules cannot. While there are cultivators here, their cultivation is limited—they can’t surpass the highest level of technology in this universe. Because of the restrictions, their cultivation speed will only slow down over ti, until they eventually beco completely stuck," Wealth shrugged.
"So, if cultivators in this universe want to continue advancing, they have to leave for a cultivation world?"
"Yes. But there’s another way to change the situation, though it would take a long ti."
A thought struck Amalia. "You an... we need to make humanity in this universe start cultivating?"
"That’s right. This is what it ans when people say ’the trend of the tis cannot be stopped.’"
Amalia understood. "So if we can’t break through here, does that an we can break through imdiately after returning to Mystic Void Continent?"
"Exactly."
Amalia looked up at the sky of her small world and pondered for a mont. "So, if I don’t want my small world to develop like the Androda Universe, I need to make everyone start cultivating?"
"Mother’s small world already has a foundation for cultivation. Plus, you are now essentially the rules themselves—you could erase everything in this world with just a wave of your hand. But if the people here start cultivating, it will only benefit you and aid the growth of your small world."
As expected, it was just as she had thought.
Amalia suddenly asked, "What do you think of Javier and his sister?"
Wealth scratched his side. "They’re fine. They’re still young, so it’s the perfect ti for them to start cultivating."
Amalia nodded, then left.
Sensing that the two siblings were still at the hut, she called them over and stared at them for a mont.
Javier felt uneasy under her gaze, unsure why the heroic sister was looking at him like that.
Sofia, on the other hand, didn’t feel much, simply staring back curiously.
She was still too young to have deep reactions, even after experiencing war.
"If I teach you how to cultivate, would you be willing to learn?" Amalia asked.
Before Sofia could even process the question, Javier’s eyes lit up. "Heroic sister, do you an cultivating to beco as strong as you?"
