Oh well, it almost made him want to "betray" as well.

The battle for Planet Gallia had yielded great rewards.

Planet Gallia was the Prince of Doomsday’s most critical stronghold, the source of his confidence.

Its military defenses were formidable, but no matter how strong they were, they still fell before them.

They took everything that could be moved.

For what couldn’t be moved, they left behind 20,000 cha troops and two of Amalia’s beast puppets to guard the place before rushing back.

They hadn’t encountered attacks from any other alien forces, leading them to suspect that the aliens had gone to attack Planet Teutonia instead.

Their initial guess was correct, but the outco was not what they had expected.

"General, we have a serious problem," Officer Khan walked over with a grave expression.

"What serious problem?"

"We just received a distress signal. There’s trouble on Planet Veloxia. The aliens are focusing their firepower on it, and the Emperor and his forces might not be able to hold out much longer," Officer Khan reported quickly.

Major General Rafiq was shocked. "But most of the aliens’ firepower was focused on us. With Planet Veloxia’s current strength, how could they be struggling?"

"Soone betrayed the royal family and stabbed them in the back, leading to the fall of one of their cultivators," Officer Khan said grimly.

"This situation is worse than we thought," Major General Rafiq said, looking at Amalia and Kenny Lin.

"If you want to go, then go," Amalia said.

Winning the favor of billions of people from the Draconis Empire was not sothing she would refuse.

Ever since she learned that the power of human faith could strengthen her small world while also boosting her own cultivation, she had developed another plan.

"Thank you, Ms. Amalia."

Major General Rafiq was visibly moved.

Although they were the ones piloting the battleship now, strictly speaking, those ships belonged to Amalia and Kenny Lin.

The vast amounts of energy resources had also been obtained through their space jumps and countless battles.

They had no real authority to make decisions.

"No need to thank . I’m also curious to see what kind of abilities this world’s cultivators have," Amalia said calmly.

Kenny Lin gave her a look, as if sensing sothing unusual in her reaction.

"Alright, we’ll start preparing now," Major General Rafiq said firmly.

Fortunately, they had just returned to Planet Teutonia and hadn’t had ti to unload everything yet, saving them a lot of trouble.

"You want to go to Planet Veloxia—do you have another reason?" As soon as the others left, Kenny Lin asked directly.

"I do. Does farming faith power count?" Amalia hadn’t expected him to be so sharp.

"That doesn’t count. That’s not even a secret anymore."

"Actually, I want to visit Planet Veloxia because my family used to be there. Later, they were wiped out. It’s been many years, but if possible, I’d like to investigate."

She didn’t say exactly what she was looking for.

"We’ve done so much together. Don’t you think it’s ti you told everything about yourself?" Kenny Lin finally asked the question he had wanted to ask since their ti on Earth.

A faint look of reminiscence crossed Amalia’s face. "My real na is Amalia Vanquez. My family was once a prominent household on Planet Veloxia. But for so unknown reason, our entire lineage was exterminated—only I survived. To stay alive, I beca a rcenary. During one near-death experience, I accidentally activated the Soltice Ring I had swallowed as a child. That’s when I started learning cultivation on my own. But before I could grow strong enough, I was caught in a conflict and killed. The rest, you already know."

"Did you investigate back then?"

"Of course, I did. Even after I started cultivating, I kept searching. But the forces that destroyed my family were too mysterious—there wasn’t a single clue pointing to who was behind it. That’s why I suspect that the ones who targeted my family might have been cultivators."

Kenny Lin raised an eyebrow. "Why do you think they were cultivators?"

"My family was discreet and rarely made enemies. After the massacre, nothing was stolen. The family’s assets were only confiscated later because there was no one left to inherit them," Amalia sighed. "Back then, I was far too weak."

"But you survived. Why was there no heir?" Kenny Lin was already picturing a small weak Amalia in his mind.

"That mysterious force wasn’t after wealth or power. Their goal was my family itself. If I had revealed myself, they would have co for again. I was only eight years old at the ti—how could I have resisted them? Besides, an eight-year-old child couldn’t possibly manage a vast household like mine."

"You realized that and abandoned everything? That was a smart decision." Most people wouldn’t have thought that far. Kenny Lin sighed. "We really are a perfect match."

Amalia’s lips twitched slightly. "Being smart doesn’t put food on the table. The worst part is that even by the ti I died, I still hadn’t found out who destroyed my family. Now that fate has brought back, I want to investigate."

"I’ll go with you."

Major General Rafiq’s side quickly completed their preparations.

This ti, they planned to jump directly to the vicinity of Planet Veloxia.

Once everything was ready, the space jump was imdiately activated.

In the next second, the massive battleship vanished before the soldiers, leaving the universe to return to its silent void.

At Planet Veloxia, after the space pirate Ashen Djinn Brotherhood’s betrayal, several smaller space pirate factions followed suit.

So of them had never been citizens of the Draconis Empire to begin with—they were wanderers from other places with no sense of loyalty to the empire.

Others were criminals who had escaped sentencing after committing nurous atrocities.

If not for the empire’s needs, the royal family would never have chosen to cooperate with them.

As a result, these space pirates not only betrayed them but also took the opportunity to severely injure their forces, throwing the rear defenses into chaos.
