That would break the stalemate and allow them to obtain what they wanted.

"A Emperor level Devil making an appearance? The humans won’t allow it. Don’t bother hoping," Esmus said indifferently.

Nehun sneered. "Don’t be so sure. That person’s ti is almost up. Now that all his descendants are dead, do you think he won’t go mad? Even the human cultivators at the Mahayana stage might not be able to stop him."

"Human cultivators at the Mahayana stage? Once the Supre Ruler revives, they’ll be nothing," Esmus scoffed, his eyes narrowing disdainfully.

"The disciples of the major human sects probably won’t arrive in ti either. This strategy has been in preparation for a long ti. His Highness has stated that at least half of the human strongholds can be stalled," Nehun added with a smirk.

Suddenly, a massive golden bell descended from the sky, trapping one of the devils inside.

The other devil’s expression changed drastically.

Without even attempting a counterattack, he turned around and fled.

"What is this? Break it!" Esmus’s voice thundered from inside the bell.

Kenny Lin wasted no ti, imdiately pursuing the fleeing Nehun.

Amalia flew to the Inverse Emperor Bell, and tapped it lightly, and Esmus’s primordial soul almost flew out of his body from the vibration.

"I’ll ask you once: Are devils really attacking the cities?"

"Who are you?" Esmus’s voice, a mix of fear and rage, echoed from within the bell.

"Who I am is none of your concern. Answer my question, or die!" Amalia said coldly, sending a wisp of Phoenix True Fla into the bell.

Esmus’s agonized screams echoed from within. "I’ll talk, I’ll talk!"

The searing pain that scorched his very soul was unbearable.

He had never encountered flas like these.

Even before being touched by the fire, his primordial soul was already trembling in terror.

"Then speak! My patience is limited!" Amalia demanded icily.

"The devils are indeed planning to attack the cities. To ensure the Mahayana stage human cultivators don’t discover the situation here, the devil army will assault the nearby cities the day before we break into the forbidden ground. That way, they’ll be too preoccupied to concern themselves with what’s happening here."

"Is it just an assault on the cities?" Amalia pressed, allowing the flas to burn even hotter.

"Our Emperor level Devils will also join the fight. A massive battle will break out, tying down the Mahayana stage cultivators from the major sects," Esmus confessed in tornt.

"You place so much importance on the forbidden ground of the Nine Heaven Pixiu that even an Emperor level devil is involved? Do you really think I’ll believe that?" Amalia scoffed.

Terrified of the flas, Esmus quickly added, "It’s true! There are things that even King level devils like us are not privy to. Only the Emperor level Devils and above know the full details. The rest of us are simply following orders."

"Think carefully, and let know when you’ve rembered more." Amalia intensified the Phoenix True Fla, subjecting Esmus’s souls to further excruciating pain.

She had discovered that Phoenix True Fla was unique, directly targeting the primordial soul.

"I truly don’t know anything else! Please, spare , and I swear I won’t oppose you again!"

After burning him for a while, Amalia, seeing that Esmus genuinely seed unaware of more details, finally ceased the flas.

Inside the Inverse Emperor Bell, Esmus’s physical body had disintegrated, leaving only his primordial soul.

Amalia stowed the bell and headed toward Kenny Lin.

The battle on that side was fierce.

Heaven and earth seed to tremble as Nehun forced his way into another formation.

This formation housed other human cultivators, most of whom were at the Deity Transformation stage.

Nehun grabbed one of the Deity Transformation cultivators and instantly crushed the person’s head, devouring their primordial soul.

One after another, he consud several more, his dark aura growing so dense it seed almost tangible.

Empowered and emboldened, Nehun stopped fleeing, throwing back his head in laughter before charging at Kenny Lin.

Kenny Lin noticed that Nehun’s cultivation had suddenly risen.

From the late of the King level stage, Nehun’s strength surged to the peak of the King level stage.

"Die!" Nehun roared.

His right hand, shrouded in dense black smoke, condensed into a trident radiating a sinister silver-black light.

The aura was cold and nacing.

Black skulls scread and howled within the mist, rushing at Kenny Lin with bone-chilling ferocity.

Kenny Lin swung his sword in a decisive strike.

His sharp, domineering sword energy, like thousands of blades unleashed simultaneously, surged toward Nehun from all directions.

The sword energy quickly eroded a portion of Nehuns power, but so of it continued pressing forward and forming what looked like a black hole ready to devour him.

Suddenly, the Yin-Yang Pearl floated before Kenny Lin.

The dark side of the pearl emitted an intense black light.

The mass of black skulls charging toward Kenny Lin was instantly sucked into the pearl, leaving a burst of black radiance.

In the blink of an eye, the overwhelming black mist vanished.

"Impossible!" Nehun’s expression twisted into disbelief.

The energy he wielded was of ultimate darkness and coldness, countered only by the purest, most powerful yang energy.

This move had crushed countless opponents and enemies before.

Many humans had perished under his hands, their bodies becoming nourishnt, and their grievances solidifying into his weapon.

The black skulls surrounding him were the lingering souls of those people he had slain.

Their unyielding resentnt was molded into physical form, becoming a terrifying part of his arsenal.

Yet, his opponent’s techniques did not emanate the yang energy needed to counter his darkness.

In fact, the cold, sinister nature of their power was sothing even he could feel.

And still, it had devoured his dark energy entirely.

"Who are you? This is not a human technique!" Nehun’s voice wavered with vigilance as he searched for an escape route.

This formation was far from an ideal battleground for them—it was incredibly disadvantageous.
