"You can’t go back on your word just because I won!" Kenny Lin said worriedly. This wasn’t just a small victory for him—it was his hard-earned opportunity for dual cultivation.

"Let’s head up there first," Amalia said, grabbing his arm as the two of them flew upward.

Upon entering this space, the intense gravity that had been pressing down on them outside vanished entirely.

Once they were in midair, they looked back and saw disciples from various sects still struggling to traverse the gravity-laden plaza below.

Temujin Lei, having expended his energy recklessly earlier, was now out of strength and being overtaken one after another by the other talented disciples.

"It really does feel like standing above all the mountains," Amalia remarked, her gaze fixed on the structures ahead of the plaza—the Heavenly Hall from which they had erged.

Now, the Heavenly Hall was clearly encased in a restrictive barrier that seed on the verge of collapse, trembling more violently with each passing mont.

"Soon, those wandering souls might break through," Amalia said to Kenny Lin.

Kenny Lin’s face turned serious. "Don’t think you can distract with that."

Amalia sighed. "Fine. I admit I lost. Happy now?"

Kenny Lin’s expression imdiately lit up with a satisfied grin. "Now we’re talking! Let’s move quickly—this silver river must be the so-called Immortal Spring. With energy this pure, we might be able to ascend multiple levels this ti."

He squinted, determination flashing in his eyes. Once he reached the Deity Transformation stage and advanced to the Body Integration stage, he would be unstoppable.

As they spoke, the other cultivators began erging from the gravity-laden plaza.

The immortal river ford a circular ring and inclined upward at a sharp angle.

As they drew closer, the sound of the cascading water beca deafening, its montum grand and awe-inspiring.

Amalia flew into the energy river and was imdiately struck by the overwhelming force rushing down from above. The powerful current almost knocked her off balance.

This energy was unlike liquefied spiritual energy. While it appeared to be water and even felt like it flowed as such, the mont she tried to scoop so with her hand, it instantly vaporized into mist and vanished.

"These Immortal Springs seem to disappear the mont they leave the river," Amalia concluded.

Kenny Lin, on the other hand, dove straight into the river headfirst and even seed to gulp down a few mouthfuls. "Such pure energy—it dissolves instantly as it enters my body!"

Amalia sighed. "Has anyone ever told you that there’s sothing wrong with your brain?"

"Of course," Kenny Lin replied cheerfully.

"Fine, you win," Amalia said, admitting defeat.

Behind them, a series of splashes echoed as others finally caught up and jumped into the river. Each of them was awestruck by the sheer magnitude of the river’s power.

"This is the first ti I’ve ever seen so much liquefied spiritual energy!" Seongwoo Jin exclaid as he tumbled into the river, flailing his limbs on the surface before Taeseon Lei grabbed his arm and pulled him back up. His face was red with embarrassnt.

"Don’t go to the bottom. The suction force down there is even stronger—it might pull us under," Taeseon Lei warned.

If Taeseon Lei hadn’t acted quickly, Seongwoo Jin might have been dragged below. And who knew what dangers lurked there?

"Who’d be stupid enough to go down there?" Jinhwa Hou rolled his eyes.

"Are we supposed to cultivate here, or should we go further upstream?" Eunbyeol Ling wondered aloud, her gaze fixed on the occasional flashes of light coming from higher up the river. She couldn’t help but wonder what they were.

"The river has resistance. The stronger the resistance, the greater the potential rewards. It’s worth a try," Jirandal Tang said, attempting to fly upward. However, his legs refused to lift off the ground. Yet, when he tried to walk upward along the river’s flow, he found he could move. He exchanged a glance with Taeseon Lei. "Did you notice that too?"

Taeseon Lei nodded. "Yes, this river is strange."

"Everything here feels peculiar. It seems we’ll have to play by the rules of this place," Jirandal Tang said.

Many others shared the sa realization. After trying various thods and failing, they all began following the river upward on foot.

"I see sothing! I see sothing! Those flashes of light are treasures!"

Suddenly, a wild cultivator shouted excitedly.

Though he hadn’t ascended yet, he caught sight of a glimr of light streaking across the inner flow of the energy river. It moved so fast it was gone in an instant, but he was certain of what he saw.

"What?" Everyone was stunned.

"It really is a treasure!"

"It looked like a box—floating in the energy river! If it can stay afloat here, it must contain a treasure from the Immortal Realm!"

Excitent surged among the crowd. While cultivating within the river to enhance their spiritual power was appealing, the allure of treasures from the immortal realm was far greater.

"Each glowing dot seems to be a box, and the intensity of the glow varies," soone observed.

Amalia, who was already nearby, had long noticed these objects. However, she hadn’t expected the treasures to be hidden within the river.

"Does the brighter the glow an the treasure inside is more valuable?" Kenny Lin squinted, his calculating gaze deepening.

He hadn’t forgotten about the incomplete Soltice Ring in Amalia’s possession. The ring still lacked a crucial component—a legendary Phoenix Feather.

The Phoenix Feather was an enigma. From its na, it seed to refer to the feather of a phoenix, but no books had provided detailed records. Whether it was truly a phoenix’s feather remained a mystery.

"Let’s head up!" Kenny Lin declared abruptly. Without waiting for a response, he grabbed Amalia’s arm and began climbing the energy river.

The energy river was circular, with energy flowing downward on their side, creating a powerful resistance. On the opposite side, however, the energy surged upward.

Seeing this, so cultivators believed they had outsmarted everyone and decided to ascend via the upward flow.
