[Bang! Bang! Bang!]

[Open the door! Open it!]

[Why is the stream paused? What’s with the black screen?!]

[I want to make a snowman with Whitedog too!]

[Aww... Show more of Frederica, Noona!]

[Show us Whitedog!]

[Is this because U-Gyeol turned it off?]

[No, Whitedog’s stream just went dark.]

[The universe has temporarily vanished.]

[Please... this is the only stream where we can watch and communicate with Whitedog...]

[Soone tell Whitedog to turn on the chat!]

[She’s probably too focused on her tries to chat right now, anyway.]

"Uh, everyone, just hold on a minute. It’s just paused for now. She’ll be back soon... I think?"

GG Guild’s master, U-Gyeol, was flustered.

Rain’s stream, which had been running smoothly, suddenly turned into a black screen.

The mage from GG’s party, who had been doing the broadcast content with U-Gyeol, was also deep in thought.

"Hmm, did she pause the stream right before the last boss? She showed up to the second nad boss, so maybe she’s telling us to figure out the third one on our own?"

[She showed us enough. Now we’re on our own.]

[Lol]

[Did you even see the second boss though?]

[She linked status effects to the demon’s illusions, and they vanished, right?]

[Yeah, but each one needed a different status effect.]

[In a party play, each DPS would take one while the tank holds aggro.]

[Wait, do sword skills usually have that many status effects?]

[I think she used physical strikes instead of skills, which is crazy.]

[Landing stuns is hard enough already, lol.]

[Common sense doesn’t apply to Whitedog.]

[Oh, the stream’s back on!]

[Heck yeah!]

"...Oh!"

"The boss fight has already started."

Rain’s paused stream returned to life.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The ice witch and the silver-haired girl clashed in a flurry of ice and sword strikes.

*Witch Frederica* surrounded herself with floating ice blades, using them to attack Rain.

"This boss has 50 million HP too... I wonder if there’s a gimmick to reduce that much HP at once?"

"The attacks are fast and vicious. Plus, the range is wide."

"That white beam pattern... it covers nearly the entire map. Ranged DPS will have to be especially careful of that."

Jumping lightly, twisting her body, deflecting with her sword, and threading her attacks through the gaps between the ice blades orbiting the witch’s body, Rain’s movents were srizing.

The GG Guild party held their breath, fully absorbed in the screen.

[You can’t copy those movents, seriously.]

[Your agility stat might increase your speed, but controlling it like that is a whole different story.]

[Yeah, mobility is supplentary; you mostly rely on skills.]

[Exactly. Just because you’re an athlete doesn’t an you’ll dominate gas, lol.]

[Arena ranker Deathmaster was a forr boxer, though...]

[That guy worked his butt off in-ga too.]

[So what’s Rain, then? A forr swordsman? Haha.]

[Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised...]

[It doesn’t even sound like a joke.]

"Look at that. The witch’s ice blades are not only attacking but also guarding."

"Fifty million HP and she’s guarding too... even though it looks like there’s no opening, Rain’s still landing hits."

"She’s slipping her sword through the guard of the ice blades. Do you think ordinary players could do that?"

"Hmm... not likely."

"Though, in a party, most attacks would land, right? The ice blades are limited, and when the witch uses several blades at once, her guard becos weaker. And ranged attacks seem to go through just fine."

"It’s going to be tough for lee DPS, though. The tank will have a hard ti holding aggro too."

As U-Gyeol and the party continued their conversation, the witch’s pattern changed.

Rumble, rumble.

Icicles fell from the ceiling, forming five ice zones on the ground.

"Here it cos, the special phase."

"Look at that!"

Whoosh!

Rain’s figure left afterimages as she moved, erasing all five zones in the blink of an eye.

The mage, wearing a dumbfounded expression, asked, "What just happened?"

"That looked like the ice zones from the Ice Ogre King in the Ice Tower. Rain cleared them all in no ti."

"She stepped on them to remove them? Wouldn’t she have been hit with the *Frozen* debuff?"

"It looks like she used repositioning skills to remove the freeze. We’ll have to slow down the footage later to figure out the exact skill sequence. Even as a swordsman myself, I can’t follow it exactly."

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

After clearing the final distant zone, Rain unleashed her *Starlight Sword Slash*, cutting through the witch’s body. At the sa ti, she dodged the white beam that the witch shot at her. The witch, now furious, lunged at Rain.

"It’s back to normal patterns. Is the special phase already over? That seed easier than expected."

"No, it’s not done yet! One of the ice blades is hovering in the center!"

Whooom!

An ice blade detached from the witch’s body, glowing brightly.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

A violent icy windstorm began to whirl in the center of the battlefield, centered on the glowing ice blade.

The witch wore a chilling grin as she hid her body within the storm of ice shards.

The battle shifted to one-sided attacks from the witch.

She launched continuous ranged ice blade patterns, preventing any approach with the icy storm, while two white magic spheres slowly began to pursue Rain.

Icicles fell again, forming more ice zones. Although not as many as the five from earlier, it seed like they would continue to appear.

The storm of brutal patterns was relentless. There were too many things to manage—plus, she couldn’t even get close.

Everyone watching was at a loss for words.

Breaking the silence, U-Gyeol finally muttered, "Is this difficulty even real? Forget solo play—this seems impossible even in a party."

"If the ice storm works the sa way as the second boss, it will block ranged attacks too. That ans there’s no way to hit her."

[Ice blades keep coming from a distance. The spheres are chasing her. The zones need clearing too.]

[The storm keeps blowing from the center, so she can’t even approach the witch.]

[Ranged attacks get blocked, and lee DPS can’t hit her at all.]

[*Starlight Sword Slash* seems to have a strike judgnt, so it goes through. But isn’t the cooldown long?]

[Yeah, and she has 50 million HP.]

[This is impossible, even in party play. It’s broken.]

[What is Whitedog going to do...?]

[Third Nad Boss]

[Level 48 Witch Frederica]

[HP: 39,970,496 / 50,000,000 (79%)]

Clang!

I deflected the ice blade flying at and erased one of the ice zones at the sa ti.

Tap.

Lowering my stance, I unleashed *Starlight Sword Slash* toward the witch hidden in the storm.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

One, two, three, four, and five. And that cleared the *Frozen* status.

BOOOOM!

"Kyaah!"

The witch, exposed and defenseless in the storm, was struck by the sword energy. But she quickly recovered and began hurling more ice blades at .

Even with ranged immunity, skills with strike judgnts like *Starlight Sword Slash* can hit. But the cooldown is long. There’s no way I can deplete her entire HP with that skill alone.

At the sa ti, I dodged the two white magic spheres that had approached . These things were slow—there wasn’t even a need to use evasive maneuvers.

The patterns were chaotic, but they weren’t impossible to counter. Calmly handling each part, one by one, was the key.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The real problem was the ice storm swirling around the witch.

"Kya-ha-ha-ha!"

Laughing maniacally, the witch launched more ice blades at from within the storm.

Annoying.

If I can’t stop the storm, I won’t be able to deal damage other than with *Starlight Sword Slash*.

Of course, it’s not like there’s no way to approach her. If I recall how I handled the "Ancient Hero’s Sword Dance," I should be able to handle this.

By using *Backward Evade* to get in, *Reversal Strike* to resist, and *Slash* to deal damage while retreating, I could enter and exit the storm without taking damage.

But that’s a one-ti trick. I can’t keep doing it. What, am I supposed to wait for *Slash* to co off cooldown every minute and whittle down the remaining 40 million HP? Not a chance.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

There must be a way to stop the storm.

I quickly scanned the battlefield.

What could it be? Is there a special object?

If I leave the ice zones, they’ll be absorbed. The ice blades just fly straight at .

What

’s left?

Whooom!

Only the two white magic spheres, glowing brightly as they chased .

Tap, tap!

The thought process took long, but the action was quick.

I positioned myself so the two white spheres were lined up with the path of a flying ice blade.

BOOM! BOOM!

Both spheres were pierced by the ice blade and disappeared in a flash of light.

Whoosh!

The storm at the center of the battlefield dissipated, and my body was surrounded by a white glow.

[Attack Buff: Level 2 (1 minute 30 seconds)]

[Attack Power 10% (x2)]

"So that’s the trick."

By using the ice blades to destroy the white spheres, I could clear the storm.

And each sphere gives an attack buff.

So, the way to deplete the witch’s 50 million HP is by stacking this infinite attack buff.

Flash! Rumble.

At the sa ti, a white beam ca flying toward , cutting through the ice statues behind .

Naturally, I just tilted my upper body slightly to avoid it.

"Kyaaaa!"

Whoosh! Clang!

With a scream, the witch flew toward , her ice blades clashing with my sword.

Each special phase grants an attack buff, how generous.

With a sly grin, I angled my sword diagonally and smirked at the witch.

"Is that all you’ve got, sis?"
