"Um." Nan Luo nodded.

"Well, I think you should rember our cousins Jun Fang and Jun Shi Lian," Nan Luo started slowly.
Jun Fang and Jun Shi Lian were the two cousins of Nan Luo and Nan Hua from the Jun Family. Back then, Nan Hua helped Jun Fang's father to get away from the rest of the Jun Family and settled down sowhere else. On the other hand, Jun Shi Lian's father was one of the few who did so bad things.
However, the remaining mbers of the Jun Family were still alive as Jun Fang only wanted to help his father get away.
They didn't do much.
Jun Fang said that he would let his cousin do whatever he wanted and would not do anything to Jun Shi Lian's father. It would be better to let Jun Shi Lian be the one to do it himself.
Years have passed since that ti.
Nan Hua hadn't heard anything from this pair of cousins.
"I rember," Nan Hua replied.
"Well, Shi Lian ca to not long ago, requesting for him to go back ho and retire from military," Nan Luo said slowly. "He said that he wanted to settle down his family mbers and ask for so advice about where he should go afterwards to avoid persecution."
Nan Hua blinked her eyes and looked at Nan Luo.
For Jun Shi Lian to be so frank to Nan Luo, it showed that their relationship shouldn't be too bad.
From what she knew before, Nan Luo didn't seem to be that close with her cousin.
Then again, Nan Hua hadn't been with Nan Luo for a long ti. Her twin brother also has his own life and might have made friends with Jun Shi Lian over the years when they were fighting on the battlefield.
Seemingly sensing Nan Hua's gaze, Nan Luo quickly said, "He's one of the thousands man commander in my army. If he wants to leave, he needs my permissions."
"Do you have the replacent for his position?"
"Yeah, his adjutant will take over his work," Nan Luo replied. After replying, he seed to realize that this was not what he wanted to talk about. "No wait, that's not what I want to talk about. I don't need your help about my army, but about the place where he could leave after he's done with his actions."
Nan Hua blinked her eyes.
The laws in Fei Yang Kingdom still existed even if they were in the state of wars.

"Did he plan to break a law?"
"That's…" Nan Luo frowned and looked outside. Sensing that there were no one around them and the rooms beside them were also empty, he nodded to Nan Hua.

"You don't have to help him settle down there," Nan Luo said quickly. "He said that he's not willing to ask for more help and just so advice about where he could possibly leave and stay."
Nan Hua, who was thinking about sending letters, shelved this thoughts and nodded at Nan Luo. "I understand."
In any case, Nan Hua was indeed not close to Jun Shi Lian.
If she were to take action to help him, he would be owing a favor to her and this might not be sothing that Jun Shi Lian wanted to happen.
After all, an owed favor is really hard to pay back.

"No one will chase him if he were to go there?" Nan Luo asked once more for confirmation.
"No." Nan Hua shook her head.
