Qi Xue rembered crying for days afterwards.

She was nothing more than a little servant in Qi Xi Kingdom, the identity given to her because she wanted to stay in Qi Xi Kingdom.

So no one paid attention to her.

And the one most devastated was Qi Kan Tian. He lost his father and older brother in a matter of days. And what they left behind was a ruined kingdom, the chaotic people, and the ss that he had to solve.

The 13 year old Qi Kan Tian had no other choice but to step forward and inherited the throne.

No matter how much he didn't want to, there was no other option for him.

A young teenager who should have lived a carefree live in his teenage age, carried a burden of the entire kingdom.

Countless people depended on him to live.

Many people wanted to take over that power.

But Qi Kan Tian could never hand it over.

It was the kingdom that his family sacrificed their lives to protect and passed to him. So even if he didn't like it, he had to take sit on the throne and beco the Emperor.

She could wallow in her sadness.

But Qi Kan Tian could never do that.

He didn't have the ti to imrse in sadness either as his life was in danger day and night. Too many people wanted his life.

The knowledge of dicine he learned from Traveling Doctor Liu were instead used by Qi Kan Tian to detect poisons in his food. It should have been used to save other people's life, but now he could only use it to save his own life.

He survived.

But days have never been the sa anymore.

Qi Xue stayed in Qi Xi Kingdom ever since that day and never left.

Traveling Doctor Liu also stayed behind for a few years to help Qi Kan Tian and also cured him.

But after Qi Kan Tian was 17 years old, he asked his master to leave.

"Master, if this place makes you sad, you shouldn't be here." That was what Qi Kan Tian said to Traveling Doctor Liu.

Traveling Doctor Liu lost his disciple for the first ti.

Qi Xue knew her master was sad, but he didn't show it much in front of her and Qi Kan Tian. Because he didn't want the two of them to be worried of him. There was no point in showing his worries to them either.

Qi Kan Tian didn't say anything for years.

But when he had grown older, he knew that he couldn't restrain Traveling Doctor Liu to stay beside him all the ti.

Traveling Doctor Liu went to travel because of his dream.

And he stayed behind in Qi Xi Kingdom to nurse his wounded heart and also to help his disciple. Because what Qi Kan Tian faced was not sothing that many other teenage age of the sa age could experience.

He helped him.

But Qi Kan Tian knew that Traveling Doctor Liu also needed ti for himself.

"Are you sure you will be alright?" Traveling Doctor Liu asked.

"I'm not a child anymore, Master," the young Qi Kan Tian said to Traveling Doctor Liu. "Besides, it'll be strange to call you as Traveling Doctor Liu if you're staying in Qi Xi Kingdom all the ti."

That persuasion worked.

Traveling Doctor Liu asked Qi Xue whether she wanted to co along with him before he left.

But Qi Xue didn't want to go.

She didn't have any place to co back and this kingdom was filled with both beautiful and sad mories. Because of that, Qi Xue never wanted to leave and would rather stay here for the rest of her life.

Traveling Doctor Liu respected her choice and left.

A few years later, they heard Traveling Doctor Liu had accepted another disciple. This ti, it was a blind girl from Zhang Xu Kingdom.

Seeing that Traveling Doctor Liu had accepted another disciple, they knew that Traveling Doctor Liu was moving on. Even if he was sad because of his disciple's death earlier than him, but he knew that he had to continue to live.

And there might be other disciples he needed to take under his wings.

So they did hear the news of Traveling Doctor Liu accepting more disciples. Well, it was more like Traveling Doctor Liu told them through letters because he didn't really publicize this

matter.

Chen Yuan, Feng Qing Lan, Kuang Shen, Nan Hua, and lastly Luo Qing Wei.

Five more disciples were taken under Traveling Doctor Liu.

They actually didn't know all the nas of the disciples that Traveling Doctor Liu taken and

only that Traveling Doctor Liu had 13 disciples in total.

Even though when Qi Xue heard about their age, she really felt that she had beco old, but she was happy for Traveling Doctor Liu.

Unfortunately, the situation was not very good.

With each disciple ca from different kingdom, conflicts would be inevitable. Qi Xue didn't know much but Traveling Doctor Liu contacted Qi Kan Tian quite often through letters.

And from him, she knew that there were now already 4 disciples under Traveling Doctor Liu who had passed away.

People will definitely die in the end.

This was sothing that they all knew.

But they expected that the disciples would die after the master had passed away instead of

before like this.

All these years, Qi Xue has been staying in Qi Xi Kingdom.

She played the role of a servant very well and in private, she would joke around with Qi Kan

Tian.

Even though it was not much, but it was quite fun for Qi Xue.

Now that Qi Kan Tian's plan was about to be implented, things will definitely change.

And her...

What should she do?

Qi Xue was genuinely at loss.

She had no place to go, no place to co back, no one else who knew her, nor anything else.

She had nothing.

Nothing at all.

...

Author Notes:

Traveling Doctor Liu accepted Chen Yuan as his disciple 11 years after he accepted Qi Kan

Xiang and Qi Kan Tian as his disciple.

When Traveling Doctor Liu accepted Chen Yuan as his disciple, Nan Hua is 5 years old.

When Traveling Doctor Liu accepted Qi Kan Tian and Qi Kan Xiang, Nan Hua is not even born

yet :p

(In case it's hard to imagine the tiline, I made the comparison with Hua'er)
