Chapter 70: Pointers

Ye Feng looked ahead and saw Blake’s expression, imdiately realizing what he was thinking.

The rarity and value of a stage five weapon was obvious to a common person, not to ntion a Blacksmith like Blake who would be even clearer of its use.

Precisely because of this reason, Blake made up his mind to compete with Ye Feng.

Regarding such a weapon, no matter who saw it, they would not be able to hold in their desire and remain calm. Thus, even for Blake, he was very tempted by this sword.

And because of that, even though Ye Feng could tell that Blake was not calm at all when he saw this sword, he did not say anything.

“How will we compete?” Ye Feng looked at Blake and asked the question.

As a Blacksmith, Ye Feng had understood long ago that he would not lose this competition, thus, he let Blake decide the rules generously.

Blake was stunned by this, even though he had thought of countless ways to try and win this competition, he did not have any confidence towards deciding the actual details of this competition.

There were only so many types of competitions, Blake was not willing to take advantage of Ye Feng in this matter, after seeing that Ye Feng allowed him to decide the rules, he started to think.

Blake had not really thought of how this competition should be held, after thinking about it for so ti, he looked at Ye Feng hesitantly: “What materials do you have?”

Ye Feng saw that Blake asked him this question and did not hide anything, he stepped aside and let Blake take a look at his storage.

Even though Ye Feng had been forging things non-stop in order to raise his strength, causing his stock of materials to be low, he was still able to hold this single competition without much problems.

Blake also looked at Ye Feng’s stock of materials with much interest, he sighed in amazent internally, not having expected Ye Feng to own mostly stage three and four materials. This proved that Ye Feng was at least a stage three Blacksmith, he could even be a stage four Blacksmith.

After confirming his thoughts, Blake spoke in a more polite manner: “How about this, let’s pick so materials that we need for forging, after that, we can use those materials to forge a weapon and the victor will be decided by the grade of the product.”

This competition seed very fair, Ye Feng only raised his brows but did not state any objections to this, since both sides did not have any objections to this rule, the competition started as well.

The truth was, Blake had made serious preparation beforehand, after seeing the materials, he found the things that he needed quickly. In contrast, Ye Feng chose his materials more casually.

In order to raise his strength, Ye Feng had gotten familiar with most of the materials here, he had a natural advantage in this competition without doubt.

Thus, letting Blake choose his materials first was a natural thing for Ye Feng.

After seeing Ye Feng’s casual mood, Blake beca quite alerted internally, although this did not an much, it showed that Ye Feng was very experienced in forging.

Especially earlier, even though Blake was not listening to Ye Feng’s lessons attentively, at the very start, he had listened attentively and knew that Ye Feng had a deep foundation in forging.

Precisely because of his foundation, he was so calm and composed in such a situation.

Forging was simply too easy and natural for Ye Feng at this point, especially in terms of stage four weapons.

Starting a fire, preparing and purifying materials, followed by continuous hamr strikes, this process was extrely familiar to Ye Feng who had done so countless tis, but when he was forging, he still kept his full focus on each process.

Ye Feng continued to mobilize the fire elents in his body while controlling the temperature of the fla as he hamred away.

In this situation, Ye Feng was like a fish in water, his movents were elegant and fluid, he completed the purification process very quickly and started with the shaping of the weapon by continuously striking it.

After that, as the carving of formations was an extrely familiar process to Ye Feng, in a while, he succeeded in forging his weapon.

At this ti, Ye Feng finally had ti to look at Blake.

When he turned around, he found that Blake had just started.

Originally, Blake was already a peak stage three Blacksmith, in order to deal with this competition, he did not choose a safer option but tried to challenge himself and reach the realm of stage four.

Ye Feng could see Blake’s abilities, even though this person was quite proud, in a certain perspective, he did have so proper skills. That was also part of the reason why Blake was so arrogant when he ca to talk about Avril’s matter.

He took mostly stage four materials for this forging attempt.

Maybe because he was not familiar with the materials that he chose this ti, Blake was very careful and ticulous when he underwent the forging, but being careful did not an that his attempt was definitely successful.

Ye Feng was quite impressed by Blake’s choice, it seed that he had placed great importance on this competition and was determined to win.

After a while, Blake was already showing signs of failing this attempt at forging.

At this ti, Ye Feng could not help but give so pointers as he felt appreciative of Blake’s talent: “Lower the temperature, your materials cannot stand such a strong fire.”

Even though the two were competing, after hearing Ye Feng’s words, Blake subconsciously followed the instructions and did just that, afterwards, he realized that Ye Feng had helped him out.

At this ti, Ye Feng did not hide anything, he watched Blake attentively as he forged, each ti there was a mistake, Ye Feng would remind him about it.

With Ye Feng’s reminders and pointers, Blake’s forging attempt did not have many problems, because of Ye Feng’s continuous reminders, Blake’s forging attempt was very successful in fact.

After receiving Ye Feng’s pointers, Blake successfully forged his own stage four weapon.
