Capítulo 727: Chapter 573: Daddy’s Babies Are Lively and Plump Too
Fresh at can arouse the little cubs’ appetite. Even if they have no teeth and can only grind and squeeze with their tender gums, that little bit of at juice is a deliciousness that mother’s milk cannot replace.
The appetites of the three little ones grow bigger day by day, and milk can no longer fully satisfy their bodily needs.
Ever since they tasted the first bite of at juice, the object of the three little ones’ affection turned to Little Jin’s father.
Even though Little Jin has little patience for the other two lynx cubs, he can’t resist his daughter’s cooing for at. Not only does she want it for herself, but she also wants it for her two brothers.
Brother Leopard, however, can also catch prey, but he doesn’t dare to take away Little Jin’s right to feed his daughter, otherwise, Little Jin would stare at him all night without turning his head, which would be terribly annoying for Brother Leopard!
In late September, the daughter and the two little cubs are almost eight weeks old, and milk is no longer a daily necessity for them. They have begun to consu fresh at more frequently.
The first choice for feeding the little ones is mouse at and rabbit at.
Little Jin’s father scans the Jiamu Valley Forest with a picky gaze.
Mice that look filthy on the outside are a no-go! Eating them might affect his daughter’s beauty.
Ones with grayish-white fur are ruled out; they are too old, and their at too tough, which might hurt his daughter’s delicate baby teeth.
The best choice is young mice and rabbits that have just been born; their at is tender and lts in the mouth. Their bones are also tender and can be easily crushed for marrow sucking and teeth grinding.
If he encounters a bamboo rat, that’s ideal, for its tender flesh bursts with juices at a bite, is easily digestible, and high in protein, providing his daughter with ample nutrition.
Little Jin, like an assassin in the night, silently passes by one nest after another, finally selecting satisfactory food, pouncing decisively, and rcilessly snapping the prey’s neck. He then quickly turns back to bring the food, ensuring it reaches his daughter with a trace of warmth as the freshest at.
Little Jin’s perfectionism is utterly goosebump-inducing.
At first, Jinya found it humorous, but then her view changed as she watched.
Sure enough, that’s how males are. Before he’s yours, you’re a treasure; after having a little cotton coat (daughter), you’re roadside weeds!
Jinya cried in anger, sobbing in Leopard Sister’s embrace, while Leopard Sister’s forehead vein twitched for quite a while, really wanting to pin this delicate fellow down and punch her!
Only Bai Bingyang remained unaffected, still drooling over Jin Yaya.
Don’t misunderstand; Bai Bingyang doesn’t dare to eat Jin Yaya. It’s just craving, seeing her leave half-eaten food makes his eyes turn red.
Several tis, having sneaked over to try and pick so leftovers, Bai Bingyang was either caught by Little Jin’s watchful eye or flagged by surveillance caras warning him away.
Bai Bingyang lay down hugging his head, whimpering – he was hungry, so very hungry, enough to die! Wailing cry.jpg
Most of the ti, he ended up with nothing to eat after crying, but occasionally Jin Yaya would hide a small piece of at when Little Jin’s father wasn’t looking, and once he’s gone, she’d sneak it to Aunt Bai Bingyang.
Such a small piece of at, yet Bai Bingyang found it to be a top-notch delicacy, eating it with tears streaming, muttering that it’s still the little cubs who care for Aunt Bai.
From a distance, Leopard Sister and Jinya lay on the platform, full of complex emotions…
This piglet, making a disgrace of the Tiger Clan.
Jin Yaya watched, heart aching, chirping that when she grows up, she’ll catch loads of at for Aunt Bai to fill her tummy.
“Sob, sob, the little cub is the best, I wish I could have one too.”
Jin Yaya puffed out her little chest, smugly complinting herself, “The little cub is the best cub of Mom and Dad, even better than her brothers. Aunt Bai can have a cub that’s just a little less good, and I’ll teach little sister to hunt. Like this, nom nom, nom nom!”
Her small body bounced around in front of Bai Bingyang, with no thought of herself becoming a piece of at in another beast’s mouth.
Bai Bingyang sprawled on the ground, lying soft like a giant tiger skin cushion. When Jin Yaya tired from hopping, she snuggled up on Bai Bingyang, safe and warm, to sleep.
Bai Bingyang carefully turned over, glancing at the two lynx cubs standing together a short distance away, softly howling for them to co sleep too.
The little brothers, far too familiar with Bai Bingyang’s scent, ran over directly, neither competing with their sister for the warst, softest abdon but instead huddling by Bai Bingyang’s two thick legs, hugging each other to sleep.
Chen Ying stood on the balcony, watching the whole scene, smiling as she said to Dr. Ou that at this rate, who knows if these three little ones will ever return to the wild. It seems they might have so misconceptions about beasts.
Mainly, Bai Bingyang lacks a tiger aura, though he can’t be prevented from approaching the little ones.
Fortunately, Leopard Sister is there; she will eventually teach the cubs how to recognize danger.
Jinya doesn’t appear to be a reliable mom, but she actually possesses a decent level of survival skills in the wild. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to roam a 3000-ter altitude range as a single lynx.
“By the way, I heard that a lab abroad might restart experints after hearing Jinya and Little Jin naturally bred cubs.”
To be honest, upon hearing the news, they both felt uneasy.
Natural animal reproduction and artificial forced hybridization are entirely different objectives’ products. Such artificial hybrid breeding touches on ethical issues, likely attracting opposition from various institutions, making the decision to restart the experint uncertain.
