Are you an idiot? Huh? Are you a stupid bear? You’re a male bear, I’m a female tiger, how can I drink your milk?
Feeling humiliated, Xii finally couldn’t help but unleash her ancient path and pounce towards the panda cub.
A lump of black and white tangled with a lump of gold and yellow, like a deep-fried dough ball coated with breadcrumbs, bitten to reveal the sticky rice and sesa filling.
Mama Panda also sensed the approach of the little male tiger, but simultaneously, there was a strange yet sowhat indescribably familiar scent also coming closer.
Following were the Little Cub and Little Brain Tiger.
Behind them were Leopard Sister and Er Niu.
When your own kids co to play, it’s customary to say hello to the other parents. Plus, since Jiaojiao and Great Bai are also coming back, as the head of the Beast Circle at the Jiamu Gully First Aid Station, Leopard Sister needed to inform the familiar beasts, otherwise, if they start fighting, it would be up to them to intervene, and in serious cases, they’d have to trouble the two-legged beast.
Usually, it’s no big deal, but at a crucial ti before the Little Cub’s surgery, Leopard Sister didn’t want any inexplicably injured animals occupying the already scarce rest ti of the two-legged beasts.
The three adult beasts didn’t get too close, after a greeting from a safe distance, Leopard Sister led Er Niu to find a place to lie down and rest.
Er Niu was more worried about her own child, it’s just regained a bit of health, and can’t afford any more accidental injuries.
Adult female beasts are actually quite chatty too, with nothing else to do, exchanging so gossip about the hills is a form of entertainnt.
Mama Panda, while eating bamboo, chatted with them about the gossip from her old place, sparking Er Niu’s curiosity on one topic.
"Are you saying my baby’s scent is a bit like one you’ve slled before?"
"Moumou, yes, that big guy’s fur looks a lot like yours, only darker, much bigger in build. It’s quite old now, used to be fierce, but not anymore. When I was young, it was the lord of that area, and after I had several litters of cubs, it was still the lord of that area."
"But this year, I don’t think it’ll make it, it’s too old now, and its teeth aren’t good. When I ca here, it seed to be following over. No idea where it ended up, I haven’t seen it in months."
Er Niu hesitated for a mont, then stood up wanting to say sothing, but Leopard Sister beat her to it, "You stay here and watch the Little Cub, I’ll go find the two-legged beast."
Leopard Sister moved so quickly that Mama Panda didn’t even have ti to react before her shadow disappeared.
"Moumou, is there a problem?"
"No, it’s just that the two-legged beast is very interested in such beasts, that’s why she hurried to inform them."
"Oh, okay then." Mama Panda felt a bit tired from talking so much, and a bit hungry, so she continued eating while nodding off, still keeping an eye on her own cub’s safety.
Although the cubs are safe in this area, they have no sense of boundaries themselves, especially cubs of different species, who can easily injure each other during rough play.
But the roughhousing among cubs also helps train their hunting abilities, fortunately, these are all more dominant species, whereas if it were a small cat cub, it might end up being found only in a stomach if not closely watched.
The little male tiger led the Little Cub into the cave, saw Xii wrestling with the panda cub, roared, and rushed over, successfully landing on top of Xii.
The Little Cub’s pupils dilated, this ga, can’t play it, simply can’t play it.
The Little Cub crept to a more interior spot along the cave wall, looked at the panda cub equally bewildered by the male tiger’s surprise attack, and quietly asked if it wanted to crouch together.
The panda cub, already tired from playing, withdrew from the battlefield and ca to the Little Cub’s side, imdiately slling a delicious milk scent.
This little thing was quite the foodie, upon slling milk, the whole bear fluffed up, nudging the Little Cub trying to get at the milk it thought was there, though the Little Cub had nothing of the sort. After being nudged around a couple of tis, it couldn’t take it anymore, running out of the cave back to its mother.
"Aw, their brains..."
The Little Cub hadn’t finished speaking when it saw the Mama Panda beside it, getting spooked and darting into its mother’s embrace, then protruding its cat head out again.
"Is this your child? Just born? So small. Needs to drink more milk to grow well, just like my cub, eating and sleeping well, growing fast, will surely be as big as its dad in the future."
Er Niu originally didn’t want to fall behind by saying the Little Cub’s dad was also a big one, but she thought better of it, hoping now only that the Little Cub can smoothly get through this ordeal and grow up steadily, whether it becos a dominator of an area or not doesn’t really matter.
After the Little Cub ca out, the panda cub also rolled out, finding its mother to eat.
And in the cave, the two tiger cubs were close to truly fighting.
Of course, it was one-sided anger. Xii thought this brother’s brain might be full of muscles, clearly here to fight the black and white panda, but now the panda was off nursing with its mom, leaving just this silly brother ssing around with her, intolerable.
Er Niu, although she hadn’t t Little Brain Tiger, was a good-natured mother, seeing Xii struggling angrily and trying to crawl out from under her brother’s claws, quickly went over to drag the little male tiger away.
This cave belonged to the panda mother and son; it was best not to stay too long and leave their scent.
Xii puffed up her face, her fur all bristled, angrily running ho to complain, wanting her mom to just throw her brother out.
The Little Cub saw Xii’s face front on, suddenly popped out, then followed her for a bit.
"Why are you following ?" Though Xii was fighting the panda cub at the ti, she had noticed this guy co in with her brother, hmph, males are not good beasts!
The Little Cub quietly explained that it had been tricked by the little male tiger, "I thought you guys were playing so new ga, I’ve never played it before, didn’t dare join in."
Xii glanced at the Little Cub, saw the earnest yet a bit cautious little face, snorted through her nose, turned her head and continued running, though a bit slower this ti.
"Hey, where are you from, why haven’t I seen you before?"
"I, I just ca here, wasn’t here before." The Little Cub’s physical condition was still too weak, walking and talking evidently left it a bit breathless.
Xii stopped to look at it, after a while, jumped onto a fallen tree stump.
"I’m tired, want to rest for a while." It lay down, resting its small face on its two big paws, unblinkingly watching the Little Cub, "You"
"Was the place you lived before fun?"
"I, I don’t know, my health was poor, never went out to play. But my brothers and sisters are great, they surely know where’s fun."
Xii murmured, feeling the Little Cub had rested enough, jumped off the stump, ready to lead it back to the first-aid station.
It was a clever little tiger cub, guessed that this strange little friend was surely from the magical place its mom ntioned. Brother often went there for a wander, but it hadn’t been even once, now it finally had an excuse to go see.
Following behind them, Er Niu glanced at the dejected little male tiger, then at the thodically acting Xii, suddenly felt the strange realization that males were indeed unreliable.
Xii brought the Little Cub back to the first-aid station quickly, it was about to have a random look and leave when it spotted the large natural cat climbing fra built especially for the tiger cubs at the station.
As a genuine feline, it couldn’t resist the allure of the cat climbing fra.
Xii maneuvered her short legs to the slope, glanced to the left and right, saw no other adult beasts or two-legged beasts around, just the Little Cub she brought with her, and a bit further away, that adult beast with the sa coat color as the Little Cub.
Xii’s four paws seed to have their own will, irresistibly charging up the slope, turning on the mid-platform, then leaping to the second-tier shelf a ter away.
