Chapter 569: Chapter 494: Black Blind Man: Why Didn’t You Tell You Had Tiger Veins?

The snow pit isn’t particularly deep, about two to two-point-three ters, but it’s quite difficult to climb out of.

This pit was dug by people in the past to catch animals like roe deer and deer. It’s easy for feline animals to jump out, but hoofed animals find it very difficult.

Among the three people in the snow pit, one is seriously injured, along with a young adolescent, which is why they can’t rescue themselves.

After Chen Ying understood the situation, he decided to first lure the Black Bear away, but he needed the help of other animals; he couldn’t do it alone.

Additionally, in the case of the Black Bear, the anesthetic might not be effective. It will take a long ti for it to be completely sedated, but the people in the snow pit might not be able to endure that long.

“Give the stuff, I’ll go lure it away.”

Chen Ying took the anesthetic gun and prepared to try and lure the Black Bear fifty ters away to administer anesthesia, under the protection of two Forest Police.

While preparing, Chen Ying observed the surrounding Tigers and Leopards, judging that they were just there to watch the show, so he told his companions to stay alert.

Among the three Tigers and Leopards, there was a familiar Tiger.

He had t it briefly when rescuing Dong Sheng.

The big guy watched for a long ti from the side and seed to recognize him. Seeing Chen Ying trying to approach the Black Bear, the big guy couldn’t help but jump out to stop him.

When it jumped out, the Forest Police almost fired their guns in fright, but luckily Chen Ying reacted quickly and grabbed them both.

“It’s alright, familiar Tiger, it’s just coming to say hello.”

After saying that, Chen Ying directly started petting, the big guy impatiently shaking his head and then lowering its big forehead slightly, nudging Chen Ying backwards while making a sound, probably scolding Chen Ying for being too bold to dare to fight with that black bear.

“Ow ow, ah ah ow!” It continuously made low growls several tis, stood on its hind legs, pounced on Chen Ying, knocking him to the ground, and used its body to pin him down, “Ah ow w(゚Д゚)w”, its two front legs spread open on either side of Chen Ying’s arms, looking down at him.

Chen Ying held his breath; the sll from this guy’s mouth was too strong to bear!

“Brother Hu, I was wrong, can you let go, your saliva is about to drip on my face!” He said as he reached out and forcefully pushed the big guy’s furry face away, “Can you let get up to talk?”

The big guy growled again and moved aside.

anwhile, the Black Bear loitering near the snow pit seed to sense sothing. It stopped its pacing steps, its ears slightly turning, seemingly capturing sound information.

Having released Chen Ying, the big guy moved aside, saw Chen Ying getting up and still wanting to move forward, finally made it angry enough to emit a wave attack towards him.

Chen Ying was prepared and wasn’t scared, but the onlookers nearby were terrified, the two Forest Police protecting Chen Ying instinctively reached out to pull his arm, then saw the big guy leap over them and run towards the snow pit.

It ran while roaring.

Was this planning to help? Chen Ying quickly called out for the others to follow.

They were about twenty ters away from the Black Bear, with a small dirt mound in between blocking the view, and deliberately chosen upwind to try not to let the Black Bear detect their presence.

But actually, the Black Bear knew from previous tests that there were other Two-legged beasts nearby; if it were normal, it might have already fled. But now, its hatred was firmly anchored by the people in the snow pit; unless it fell, no one could force it to leave!

No one… Damn it, these Two-legged beasts don’t play fair, why did they bring out the Big Cat?

Although the Black Bear might not necessarily fear the Northeast Tiger, that’s when it’s healthy, and now, it’s forcibly awakened from hibernation, its body in the weakest state, injured…

Anyone who doesn’t run is a fool!

Seeing the Black Bear running on three legs while wailing, Chen Ying felt very conflicted inside.

“You guys find a way to rescue people, I’ll handle the Black Bear’s injury.”

The two Forest Police exchanged a glance, the more composed one gestured to his colleague, matching Chen Ying’s speed.

The Black Bear didn’t run far, perhaps its fighting capability had decreased too much, or maybe food was scarce in winter, and it was spotted by another Northeast Tiger and a Northeast Leopard with two cubs.

Despite having consud most of its bulk over the winter, it still had enough at to share.

The Black Bear perhaps knew it couldn’t avoid a fierce battle today, so it stopped, panting heavily, its eyes constantly drifting over the Northeast Tigers and Leopards.

It needed to determine which side was easier to break through.

And at this mont, Chen Ying arrived, bringing a strong Northeast Tiger along.

“Brother Hu, help say this bear is mine.”

The muscular big guy rolled its eyes but still complied.

It wasn’t interested in bear at, mainly having just finished a big al; couldn’t it eat later, why grab it now?

The Big Cat was very cautious of humans, and upon seeing its kind and Two-legged beasts appear together, the slightly smaller Northeast Tiger stepped back a few paces.

Seeing the Northeast Tiger retreat, the Northeast Leopard Mother decisively abandoned the hunt and took her two clumsy cubs and fled.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Chen Ying shot the Black Bear, which howled, ┗|`O′|┛ow~~ and turned to lunge at Chen Ying, while the big guy beside Chen Ying was ready to respond.

“Don’t be afraid, I didn’t hurt you, I’m just calming you down so I can treat your wound.”

The Black Bear’s nostrils flared rapidly, probably due to exhaustion. The tranquilizer took effect much quicker than he anticipated, and just over ten minutes later, the Black Bear was already lying prostrate on the ground, its eyelids unable to open. However, it was still moving its mouth, trying to bare its teeth.

After waiting a few more minutes, Chen Ying cautiously approached it. After pinching it a couple of tis without eliciting any response, he quickly called for assistance.

The tal bullet was embedded in its flesh, showing signs of scorching, which ant Chen Ying needed to extract the bullet from the flesh.

He worked quickly; before the nearby Forest Police officer even realized it, several bullets were already clattering into the small tal dish he held.

These were all evidence of poaching that needed to be taken back for examination.

Besides the bullets, no other injuries were currently found on this Big Bear.

The small bullets had caused damage, but it wasn’t as severe as imagined.

After performing a series of anti-inflammatory and hemostatic treatnts, Chen Ying keenly sensed that the Black Bear was about to awaken.

After sprinkling dicine on the last wound, he also took out an apple from his bag, carved a hole, stuffed a small pill inside, then sealed it back with the carved-out apple flesh, and placed it near the Black Bear’s mouth.

“Let’s go; it’s about to wake up.”

Quickly tidying up, Chen Ying pulled the Forest Police officer away without looking back.

Upon returning to the landing spot, the person rescued from the snow pit had already been sent to the hospital, and the rest were waiting for him.

As soon as Chen Ying arrived, Captain Min beckoned him to quickly get into the car and leave.

“Wait.” Chen Ying turned to look at the Northeast Tiger lying not far away, ran over to rub its ears and cheeks, “I have to go now. Thank you, big guy.”

The tiger unapologetically pushed his hand away, stood up to stretch, turned and left, its elegant silhouette disappearing from everyone’s sight within seconds.

“Let’s go…” Just as he was preparing to get into the car, he heard the call of the Black Bear, “Go, go, go, hurry up, quick.”

The group hurriedly started the two vehicles and left the area.

Back on the main road, Captain Min asked Chen Ying and Dao ihua to follow the Forest Police’s car back first; he needed to head to the last patrol point.

“The three people who fell into the snow pit confessed, everyone else ran off separately. We need to continue the search. In such cold weather, I don’t know how they’re going to survive in the wild with temperatures around minus twenty to thirty degrees.”

Captain Min’s expression was serious.

“After I clock in, I’ll join the search team to continue looking for people. You both aren’t familiar with this area. Rest first.”

Three vehicles with a total of nine people, two in the snow pit, and a young person who joined midway, leaving seven whose whereabouts were unknown.

“Among those seven, two are regulars who often co over to play, so the problem shouldn’t be significant.”

Not much can be done; they chose to court disaster.

Chen Ying wasn’t bothered with these humans. With that ti, he’d rather go see Big Tiger Dong Sheng and the others.

While still contemplating, he saw soone tagging him in the Tiger Park’s group.

“Dr. Chen, if you have the ti, could you co over to the Tiger Park? It seems Dong Sheng and Big Tiger are being bullied.”

“Who? Who dares to bully our Dong Sheng? Oh, it’s the other tigers, then alright, we can’t interfere!”

“You really are dramatic! Dr. Chen, call ahead if your schedule opens up, and I’ll co pick you up.”

The Tiger Park and Leopard Garden are separate.

Chen Ying is at the Tiger and Leopard Park’s Leopard Garden, dedicated to the care and treatnt of leopards. Though it’s not far from the Tiger Park, Big Tiger and Dong Sheng are in the semi-wild area there, and reaching them takes so distance.

It takes over twenty minutes by electric car through the park.

“Dr. Chen, when are you returning? Qingqing seems to be looking for you.”

A photo of a Gyrfalcon peeking curiously was sent to the group chat, showing the layout of the Leopard Garden’s dical area.

Seeing the photo, Chen Ying quickly called back.

“Please help buy so at it loves, and I promised to help refurbish its nest. Ask if there are tools available there; if not, I’ll order a set imdiately.”

Dao ihua was also looking at the group ssages. Seeing the beautiful Gyrfalcon and thinking about its hard search for him in the air, she hurriedly started ordering on her shopping app.

“Don’t buy too much; it probably has a fixed mate and is approaching the breeding season. Fixing the nest is the most urgent task.”

Gyrfalcons are known to favor old nests, and barring surprises, they’ll use the sa nest for several years to raise chicks.

It’s Qingqing’s first ti seeking a mate this year; surely it wants to create the most comfortable nest for its love.

After hanging up, he thought for a mont and called Old Gao.

For raising birds, Old Gao is the expert. Although they research different areas, he has good relations here; several classmates work and conduct research here. Asking them to help design Qingqing’s nest and personally crafting it is sure to satisfy Qingqing.
