"Mr. Chen, we heard the top floor here is good for bird watching, may we go up for a look?"
"That might be inconvenient; it's a bird-watching station with equipnt and instrunts, not open to the public."
Yin Li's father tried to interrupt, but before he could, the arriving Yin Li cut him off.
"Dad, don't you listen to anything I say?"

He had guessed his daughter would inform his son, hence he arranged to et the bosses outside the village and headed directly to Chen Ying's place.
He didn't expect Yin Li to bring the Forest Police so quickly.

The man who went to use the restroom reappeared after a while, hesitated upon seeing the Forest Police, and hurriedly ca over to apologize.
The four n left promptly, while Yin Li's father was taken by the town staff to the Protection Station for a lecture.
Yin Li didn't say much to Chen Ying, as he was too upset to speak.
Little Sen muttered as he went to wash up in the bathroom.
"It stinks so bad. What did this guy do, and is he smoking too?"
Chen Ying walked over, a mix of a gluey stench and a pungent tobacco sll filled the small bathroom.
He looked up but saw nothing unusual.
Just as he was about to leave, he heard Little Owl Mother, perched on a tree branch outside the bathroom window, calling out to him.
"That stinky two-legged beast put sothing on your head."

Chen Ying looked up; above the doorway was a wooden windbreak panel, and fifteen centiters above that was an aluminum ceiling panel, which had been fitted with a warm-air blower for comfort during winter baths.
With a target in mind, Chen Ying observed more carefully and noticed fresh clip marks next to the door fra.
He recalled the man who had earlier gone to the bathroom with a hiking backpack, which was suspicious.
He called Yin Li to ask where they were and if they hadn't gone far, to co back quickly as he had discovered a problem.
Yin Li had just received Chen Ying's warning call and had barely asked what was wrong when he was unexpectedly pushed by soone, prompting the four skilled individuals to swiftly disperse into the forest.
"Damn it, quick, call for backup, these guys are trouble."
Even through the phone, Chen could hear the chaos on the other end. He glanced at the call interface and hung up.
"Old Gao, turn on all the caras and keep an eye out; those guys are trouble, likely poachers."
It wasn't just poachers, Chen Ying suspected that they were not ordinary dostic poachers.
In the small countries surrounding theirs, poaching was rampant, and so even secretly crossed the border to poach on their side.
There had been dia reports before about people digging holes under the border barbed wire fences, moving between the two countries like rats.
His mind was in turmoil, but he forced himself to think calmly; the wildlife most loved by poachers in their area were the clouded leopard, Golden Cat, and even the leopard cat due to their valuable fur in the market.
"Damn it, these bastards." Little Sen's eyes were red. "Brother Ying, what should we do? Should I go look for Great Bai and the others?"
Chen Ying's mind was about to explode, but he still maintained his basic reasoning.
"Giant pandas are not easy to handle; those people won't target Great Bai and the others, and you could easily get into trouble alone in the woods. Don't rush; let think."
He scooped up so ice water and splashed it on his face to force himself to calm down.
"Little Sen, you stay here and look out for each other with Old Gao. I'll go to the woods to find Jinya and Little Jin."
"Brother Ying, you alone... should I co with you?"
"No need. It wouldn't help if you ca; I can ask other animals for help."
Chen Ying called the little monkey, asking it to join the old monkey in keeping watch from the trees.
"Make a sound to alert us if soone approaches, understand?"
Their ans of defense in the forest were limited, they only had tranquilizer blowguns to sowhat handle the situation.
However, the protection station must have already received the news, once backup arrived, there would be no safety issues.
"Sothing must have been installed up here, otherwise, those people wouldn't have reacted even before I made the call."
Little Owl Mother squeezed in through the bathroom window, flew up above the door fra, and tugged several tis, pulling out a barely noticeable pinhole cara.
