Chapter 686: Chapter 478: The Death of i Changsu

Tai City, within so office building.

Wang Yunan listened to the voice on the phone and was completely dumbfounded.

“This industry needs discipline, and so do you…”

Would the owner of Yue Tea explode on the spot if this ssage was relayed to her word for word?

Wang Yunan, a quintessential tech guy, was at this mont totally intimidated by Cheng Zhu’s domineering aura.

—It hit square in the face!

But then he thought of Cheng Zhu’s naturally upturned brows and that carefree charisma, and it didn’t seem so unusual for him to say sothing like that.

This milk tea industry senior, after hanging up the phone, looked up at the ceiling and suddenly smiled to himself.

“It feels like what Cheng Zhu said isn’t wrong.”

He had experienced the milk tea 2.0 era and could feel that there hadn’t been any major breakthroughs for a long ti. Everyone was just making minor taste adjustnts and then endlessly undercutting each other with price wars.

As for Chen Yue’s tricky manoeuvres, as a man, he felt sympathetically pained just watching it. He found it terrifying.

If those iron fists promoting moral superiority and gender opposition hit him, he felt he really couldn’t handle it.

“In fact, haven’t I also been ‘disciplined’ by Cheng Zhu?” he thought.

After Youu Tea made its spectacular debut, Ming Tea was also pressed to the ground, forcing him to bet everything on a transformation in a desperate fight to not get left behind by the tis.

“This industry needs discipline, and so do you.”

“There’s really no way to retort to this statent.”

After all, Wang Yunan always thought there was a particularly sensible, yet heart-stinging saying:

“Opinions can be refuted, but facts cannot.”

In the end, following Cheng Zhu’s instructions, Wang Yunan really did relay the exact words, but he did it verbally, not via WeChat.

What a joke, making the organizer is already hard enough.

Cheng Zhu is now the shiny big leg I’m hugging, the main investor, okay?

For the comprehensive transformation of Ming Tea, I still need his guidance!

As soone from Zhejiang Province, and not old himself, he too had been interviewed by Zhejiang Daily and been featured in the paper.

However, the prominence the provincial paper gave him versus what it gave Cheng Zhu was simply not on the sa level!

Wang Yunan was very clear about how incredible Cheng Zhu’s treatnt was.

He now just wanted to firmly stand by Cheng Zhu’s side.

So, passing the ssage would suffice!

“However, if this statent spreads, it’s bound to cause an uproar in the whole milk tea industry, right?” he wondered.

He felt undoubtedly that Chen Yue would spread the word.

But Wang Yunan also knew very well that Cheng Zhu simply didn’t care.

He dared to flip tables; would he be afraid to curse a few tis?

“I just wonder what Chen Yue’s mood will be.” He was actually quite curious.

Shen City, Chen Yue exploded on the spot.

She was so angry that she felt chest pain, as if her 32C chest was about to burst.

“Am I going to get so angry that I develop a lump inside?” she pondered the possibility.

What left Chen Yue speechless was that she was just unpacking a delivery, and the Persistent Visit headphones 2.0 version had just been delivered to her door.

“I didn’t an to buy them! I’d have to be crazy to spend on them again, I truly forgot to cancel the order! I didn’t expect the delivery to be so quick!”

So disgusting, and it’s in my favorite macaron color sche, looks so textural…

The initial version of the Persistent Visit headphones had accompanied Sister Yue through many days and nights but had been smashed to pieces a few days ago.

They now seed like… an incarnation of Cheng Zhu?

Every ti Chen Yue turned into a Mad Woman, she couldn’t help but throw them, venting her frustration.

And boy, silicone products really withstand throws! My dear Persistent Visit products are top quality!

It took so many throws before it broke.

And what baffled Chen Yue the most was that she actually felt a twinge of regret.

The 2.0 version headphones offered a 7-day unconditional return policy.

But Chen Yue couldn’t be bothered to do so.

“Forget it, I’ll just keep them to vent my anger. Whenever I’m upset, I smash them a few tis, and my mood improves a bit.” That was her justification.

What Sister Yue never expected was that she would find a use for these things on the very afternoon!

“This industry needs discipline, and so do you!”

“Arghhh! It pisses off! WTF! I am going crazy!”

Her initial expectation was that Cheng Zhu, at most, would refuse the dinner invitation and simply ignore her.

But who would have thought, not only did he refuse, he also gave her a good telling off!

“Discipline!”

“Discipline ?”

The Mad Woman actually laughed in frustration: “I really want to see how you plan to ‘discipline’ !”

She felt that Cheng Zhu had already played all his trump cards.

The current “Youu Tea” was already at its peak.

She didn’t believe they could co up with any more earth-shattering moves in the near future!

“Just endure it, it’ll pass.” Chen Yue thought.

After raging impotently in her room for over ten minutes, she took the headphones 2.0 into the bathroom, first wiped them with an alcohol swab, then rinsed them under running water.

After that, she crawled into bed and cranked up the heat.

“It only silences things a bit better, but… it actually doesn’t silence everything, not until you put them in.”

“Nothing special, pfft—, not much technological breakthrough! HA! HISS—!”

“No good! What a trash product, barely… barely different from the first generation, hmm… Cheng Zhu, you really aren’t up to snuff!”

“Useless thing, hiya—, rubbish product!”

She felt like she had triumphed in every way.

Chen Yue was efficient, to say the least.

She began to talk about Cheng Zhu’s outrageous words everywhere, causing many in the milk tea circle to hear about it by the afternoon.

So were shocked, others skeptical.

No way, those words were too overbearing and direct, the language too arrogant, making insiders wonder, “Did the Mad Woman exaggerate?”

The world is fascinating that sotis being a bit outrageous is actually safer.

And Mad Woman had already beco Chen Yue’s nickna in the milk tea circles.

Everyone had never really seen her lose it in public; she always appeared independent and strong on the outside.

But if a nickna is catchy enough, everyone’s happy to use it behind soone’s back.

And so, the ssage got passed around until it reached Shen Minglang’s ears!

Around six o’clock, as Cheng Zhu was having dinner with his counselor at Green City Rose Garden and was about to accept the yam rib soup that Chen Jieyu was serving him, a call from Young Master Shen flew in.

“Cousin, you didn’t seriously say those words, did you? ‘This industry needs discipline, and so do you.'”

“Yes, those are my exact words. I had soone pass the ssage,” Cheng Zhu responded calmly.

He was t with three successive exclamations: “Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!”

Shen Minglang was instantly thrilled to the core, elated!

A rush of excitent went straight to his crown, almost lifting his skull!

He quietly noted the statent and repeated it to himself: “This industry needs discipline, and so do you.”

Given the chance, he would recreate it without deviation.

Once he had cald down, this bright and cheerful young man asked, “Cousin, it’s really okay for you to scold her like that?”

Cheng Zhu took a sip of soup, then drawled: “Of course there’s a problem.”

“What?”

“I’m worried that scolding her will make her happy.” Cheng Zhu said.

Shen Minglang: “…”

Fuck, I really can’t learn to talk like him!

It’s fun and playful yet manages to convey his contempt for her!

—Noted, noted.

In reality, this reaction was also a product of Cheng Zhu’s ‘discipline,’ wasn’t it?

After the call, the counselor looked up at her problematic student, her eyes behind the gold-rimd glasses filled with so confusion: “Who are you planning to discipline?”

“Yo, you heard that?” Cheng Zhu chuckled.

“Yes, his voice was too loud when he said that sentence…” Chen Jieyu admitted.

“No one in particular, just an annoying competitor,” Cheng Zhu continued sipping his soup. “Competitors are all fucking cuties.”

Chen Jieyu was speechless but couldn’t do much other than silently serve him more food.

She hadn’t seen Cheng Zhu in a while because he had been too busy.

So, upon hearing that Cheng Zhu would co for dinner today, she imdiately went to buy his favorite dishes and cooked them herself.

Moreover, the urban, mature woman kept up her refined appearance as usual, applying delicate makeup and styling her slightly curly hair into an updo today.

Cheng Zhu found the updo on Chen Jieyu quite charming.

It added a richer touch of maturity to her.

Such a hairstyle, if paired with a cheongsam or suit dress, would probably feel even more appealing.

After dinner, as the counselor began cleaning up the dishes, Cheng Zhu suddenly approached her from behind, enveloped her, and presented sothing in front of her with his right hand.

“You said the air freshener in my car slled good, so I got one for your little Benz too.”

Chen Jieyu glanced at the air freshener and humd softly, feeling touched.

Being responded to even for casually ntioned things is often one of the most moving parts of a relationship.

The air freshener wasn’t expensive; what’s precious is the attention to details.

But she still played hard to get: “It’s not my rcedes; it’s the car you lent .”

Cheng Zhu was right not to put the car in her na; he knew the counselor too well.

“Ah, whatever, yours and mine!” Cheng Zhu patted his butt and left, sitting down in the living room.

The counselor, feeling a slight pain in her plump rear, glanced back at him, then pursed her lips and continued washing dishes.

The house actually had a dishwasher, but she always felt her own washing was cleaner, plus she oddly enjoyed doing housework for him. It made her feel more at ho.

Cheng Zhu, after sitting down in the living room and looking at the big TV, was filled with imnse anticipation.

This “Langya List” drama fan, founder of Youu Tea with a supposed sharp eye, was eagerly waiting for Brother i Changsu to hurry up and die.

“Why won’t the sickly bastard just die already!”

“LMAO, so fans think the ending will be a happy one? So guess i Changsu retires to the countryside with Princess Nihuang?”

“They even say he’ll go live happily in Langya Pavilion with Feiliu and Lin Chen.”

“Or at least leave an open-ended conclusion.”

“So funny!”

“Nope, just die!!!”

And under this bastard’s eager anticipation, “Langya List” was finally going to conclude that night.

i Changsu was finally going to die.
