Chapter 323: Chapter 250: Blow-drying the Sheets with a Hairdryer Chapter 323: Chapter 250: Blow-drying the Sheets with a Hairdryer Chen Jieyu carefully pondered Cheng Zhu’s words and found them quite interesting.

Now, in the year 2014, ordinary people’s understanding of “traffic” differed sowhat from that of the future.

But upon further thought, what Cheng Zhu said seed to be correct.

That’s also why many people say, “The most expensive things are the ones that are free!”

The two sayings are different, but they also share so similarities.

Chen Jieyu couldn’t understand why the man beside her, despite his youth, was many things that didn’t match his age.

Perhaps this is what they call a “genius”?

Indeed, there are many young achievers in the world who reach heights that most people could never achieve in their lifeti.

It’s just that such people are almost never encountered in everyday life.

“However, thinking about it, it makes sense. Which average guy would think of selling QQ branded underwear after graduating high school?” Chen Jieyu couldn’t help but laugh and cry inwardly.

At such a hormone-raging age, others might pass by these QQ physical stores on the street, endlessly curious about what’s inside, but would never dare enter; they would find it too embarrassing, too socially suicidal!

But what about him?

His idea was, “Everyone’s too scared to go in? Aha! I’ll just open one online! Hehehe!”

Keep in mind, on the internet, there’s practically no sha.

In real life: No way, no way, if I go in, I’ll die!

Online: Damn it, I’d even dare to post photos of myself trying them on!

Looking at Cheng Zhu, Chen Jieyu expressed her feelings, “Sotis I really can’t understand you, selling… selling underwear on the internet, opening a claw machine arcade by the school gate, developing gas, and also trying to establish a social platform.”

“It feels like all these things are completely unrelated.”

Cheng Zhu looked at her and seriously said, “You forgot, I also want to open a milk tea shop!”

“What, you think little of my soon-to-be-opened milk tea shop?”

“No, I just forgot about it for a mont,” Chen Jieyu said.

“That’s fine then. I’m telling you, don’t underestimate our Youu Tea; it’s not like any milk tea shop you have in mind. It’ll surprise you when the ti cos,” Cheng Zhu confidently declared.

Chen Jieyu smiled and looked at his expression, feeling like this man always carried such confidence.

As for whatever he planned to do next, he seed to be filled with confidence.

“Oh right, Dean Zhang’s wife is your graduate ntor, right?” Cheng Zhu said.

“Yeah, what about it?” Chen Jieyu asked.

It was this very connection that led so people to whisper behind her back, claiming that she got her job at the school by pulling strings.

Being a counselor is not a job with an exaggerated salary or extraordinary benefits, but all things considered, it’s not bad at all.

Especially for won, having the status of a teacher is like wielding a slaughterhouse cleaver on the marriage market!

This occupation inexplicably enjoys the favor of many parents.

The advantage of female teachers in the marriage market is indeed freaking huge!

At this mont, Cheng Zhu looked at her and after pondering for a while said, “When the ti cos to work on the social platform, it’s inevitable that I’ll have to interact with Dean Zhang more.”

“Do you want to help you make connections?” Chen Jieyu asked.

Actually, she was willing to do it.

Sotis, she would think that she seed unable to give or help Cheng Zhu with anything.

However, Cheng Zhu shook his head, “That’s not necessary, especially since you indirectly helped the last ti. Dean Zhang already rembers who I am and is probably keeping an eye on .”

“Your connection with him could indeed be useful.”

“But unless sothing unexpected happens, this favor, if used on a big matter, could probably only be used once in a lifeti!”

“He might be willing to help with this big favor, but only once,” Cheng Zhu remarked.

Often tis, if the difference in social hierarchy between people is too great, such situations arise.

Favors can be used, but when they are, they should be cherished.

“I think I can obtain his help, don’t worry,” Cheng Zhu gently patted her.

Chen Jieyu wanted to say sothing several tis, but in the end, she just nodded lightly.

At that mont, she heard an unusual noise—it was Cheng Zhu’s stomach growling.

“Are you hungry, or is your stomach upset?” the counselor asked.

“Hungry,” he replied with a smile, then turned around, playfully pretending to want to eat her big mantou (stead bun).

This prompted Chen Jieyu to quickly get up and start thinking about what food they had at ho.

Cheng Zhu was indeed hungry.

If he goes to bed before 12 o’clock, he doesn’t need to eat supper.

But if he stays up past midnight, especially after doing so physical activities, he would get hungry in the evening and need to eat sothing.

“Shall I give you sothing to eat?” Chen Jieyu used a phrase Cheng Zhu often said to others.

This caught the dog of a man off guard.

He even entertained the thought, “Rushed out the door today, didn’t shave. My stubble may be sexy, but it kind of pricks the thighs.”

He snapped out of these random thoughts, smiled, and asked, “How’s your cooking?”

“Won’t kill you,” Chen Jieyu felt he was rather picky.

“Then, okay,” he nodded in agreent.

At Chen Jieyu’s ho, there were always noodles available, as sotis, when unsure of what to eat, she’d cook a bowl for herself.

After leaving the bedroom, she sneakily changed out of the clothes she was wearing and then put on an apron before starting to cook.

She considered frying an egg for Cheng Zhu to accompany the noodles, worried that oil or soup might splash onto the clothes he had bought for her.

The noodles and fried egg were quickly ready, and Cheng Zhu ca out of the room and ate them up like a sweeping wind.

“Why did you change clothes?” Cheng Zhu asked.

“The turtleneck was a bit hot,” Chen Jieyu gave a random excuse.

He nodded slightly, not pressing the matter further.

Chen Jieyu really wanted to ask if the food was good, but she didn’t dare to.

Cheng Zhu didn’t go out of his way to complint her either, but he ate very quickly.

After finishing the noodles, he was quite full, yet he still deliberately held the bowl with both hands and pretended to gulp down the soup, though in reality, he only stole a couple of small sips.

These two sips of soup were the essence!

He pretended to be left wanting more!

The eyes behind those gold-rimd glasses constantly watched him, and seeing him not sparing even the soup, a sense of satisfaction sprouted within her, as if she had accomplished sothing worthwhile.

“Are you full?” she asked.

“I am,” Cheng Zhu was indeed satiated.

He doesn’t eat much for late-night als, but Chen Jieyu, seeing him as a young guy, assud this was when he could eat a lot and cooked a rather large bowl of noodles.

Initially, she fried only one egg, but after so thought, she added another for him.

The two sat and chatted for a while longer.

At this mont, Cheng Zhu purposefully picked up his phone to check the ti.

It was already 0:34.

“Feeling sleepy?” he asked.

“Not really,” Chen Jieyu wasn’t tired.

“That’s good,” Cheng Zhu glanced at the counselor sitting beside him.

She was now sitting cross-legged, her right leg resting on her left, the tip of her right foot gently swinging her slipper in the air, a certain indescribable sexiness about her.

“Hm? What?” She didn’t quite catch what Cheng Zhu said at the mont.

But she quickly understood.

Cheng Zhu’s cooldown period… was over!

Earlier, Chen Jieyu felt a bit cold while cooking the noodles, and thinking Cheng Zhu might be cold with an empty stomach, she turned on the air conditioner.

The small kitchen and living room were practically connected, making the entire space warm and cozy.

After a minute-long kiss, Cheng Zhu began to explore the possibility of unlocking a new territory: the kitchen.

As their lips parted, he expected Chen Jieyu to start a tug-of-war, possibly telling him it was ti for him to leave.

Instead, she didn’t.

Because as ti passed, it was truly late into the night.

She knew Cheng Zhu would soon leave.

He couldn’t possibly stay the night here.

She wouldn’t let him stay the night either.

So, the ti left for their private world was actually not much.

Might as well just let it be.

Besides, with just a kiss, she was reminded of everything that happened an hour ago.

Rembering during the whole process, those two monts when she forgot all her worries and her mind went blank.

Her strength seed to be drained again.

Beneath the gold-rimd glasses, Chen Jieyu’s gaze shimred, almost as if she could pour water from her eyes.

The ho sweater she was currently wearing wasn’t much to Cheng Zhu’s liking; he felt it was ordinary, not matching her personal charm.

Thus, he opted for adapting to the situation, grabbing the apron from the kitchen table and tying it on her, even considerately tying a beautiful bow on her smooth back.

The apron was ant to be worn next to the skin.

Since it’s just a kitchen apron, its material was certainly very ordinary, because an apron is not worn on the skin, but over clothes.

As a result, Chen Jieyu could feel its rough texture.

That night, in the end, Chen Jieyu kicked Cheng Zhu out.

—This man must not be allowed to stay!

After he left, Chen Jieyu felt like she had cleaned up her room for nothing.

At the sa ti, she quickly noticed the small square box that Cheng Zhu left behind on the nightstand.

It was a pack of three, two had been used, leaving one left.

“Bringing it with him clearly showed he wanted… he wanted…” Mr. Chen couldn’t help but scoff silently.

While tidying up the room, she originally intended to simply throw away the little box.

What would a single woman like her do with that at ho?

But after a few seconds of hesitation, she quickly opened the drawer of the nightstand, tossing the little box inside.

After tossing it, she couldn’t resist opening the drawer again, covering the box with other items in there, and then closed the drawer at lightning speed.

Having done all this, Chen Jieyu prepared to go to bed.

Just as she snuggled into the covers, her face suddenly turned crimson.

Even though it was already winter, her sheets felt clammy.

She swiftly sprang out of bed and trotted into the bathroom to fetch the hairdryer.

Then, half-lying on the bed, her rounded buttocks slightly raised, she continually blew hot air onto the sheet.

After quite a while, she managed to dry only half of it, and even left a faint mark.

Amusingly, Mr. Chen’s cheeks were blushing red, her heartbeat accelerated non-stop, the hairdryer in her hand kept blowing hot air, and those tender lips occasionally exhaled deeply, forcibly calming down her inner turmoil:

“Huff—huff—huff—.”
