Leng Yan lowered his gaze, withdrew his hand, and ate the food, but it tasted like wax.
The al was finished quickly because Xia Nuo said she was full, so she stopped eating.
"Let take you ho." As they left the restaurant, Leng Yan said to her.
"No need. I have things to do. You should get busy with your own matters." Xia Nuo turned around and left. Leng Yan watched her back, a hint of pain in his eyes.

Xia Nuo walked for a long ti, thinking Leng Yan had already left, but to her surprise, he was still standing there, watching her leave.

The next day at work, Xia Nuo didn’t see Leng Yan; she didn’t see him for several days afterwards.
He really wasn’t often at the company. Xia Nuo felt much more relaxed and was able to work more comfortably.
"Xia Nuo, take this docunt to the General Manager’s office." The supervisor placed the item in front of her and left.
Xia Nuo hesitantly held the docunt, hoping for soone to help, but found everyone else busy.
"Xia Nuo, do you need to deliver sothing to the General Manager? Let help." Gao Xiaotong eagerly approached, full of anticipation.
Everyone at the company knew she liked the General Manager, but she was arrogant and often oblivious to others, so no one liked her.
Seeing her eyes light up, Xia Nuo quickly changed her mind, "The supervisor specifically asked to take this in, there must be a reason. I’ll take it myself."
After speaking, she ignored Gao Xiaotong’s disappointed expression and got up, heading to Leng Yan’s office.
She knocked on the door, and Leng Yan’s voice ca from inside: "Co in."
Xia Nuo pushed the door open, walked up to him, and handed him the docunt: "The supervisor wanted you to review this."
Leng Yan took the docunt, opened it, and started reading without asking her to leave.
Xia Nuo stood for a while and then asked, "General Manager, is there anything else you need?"
If not, she would leave.
"Wait a mont." Leng Yan said without lifting his head, so Xia Nuo had to wait.
Leng Yan seriously reviewed the docunt’s contents, then raised his teacup for a drink, noticing it was empty.
He handed the cup to Xia Nuo: "Brew a cup of tea."
Xia Nuo was taken aback but still took the cup and brewed the tea for him.
Leng Yan continued looking over the docunt, and only when Xia Nuo was getting tired of standing did he look up and say to her, "That’s all, go on with your work."
Xia Nuo felt an urge to flip the table!
Silently grinding her teeth, she contained her frustration and walked out obediently.
After the door closed, Leng Yan lifted his head, a subtle smile forming on his lips.
As soon as Xia Nuo returned to her desk, Gao Xiaotong ca over: "Xia Nuo, why were you in there for so long?"
She stared at her with suspicious eyes.
Xia Nuo spoke indifferently, "The General Manager had things to ask , so it took a bit longer."
"What did the General Manager ask you?"
"Business matters. What else would he ask ?"
"True." Gao Xiaotong then smiled and asked, "Xia Nuo, you’re turning twenty-eight years old this year, aren’t you?"
"Mhm." Xia Nuo’s attitude remained indifferent.
