"Affair? Yan Xi, can you be serious? How many tis do I have to say that Xuan’er is just my friend? What? Can’t I even have a friend now?"

Mo Tianyu shouted loudly in anger, feeling suffocated. He never thought that Yan Xi would do this to him.

Not only did she find a way to join the Divine Cauldron Sect, but she also tagged along suddenly when he was returning to his clan.

"Friend? Who addresses their friend as Xuan’er? If she is just a friend, ask her to leave your back and get lost. Why is she still glued to you?"

Yan Xi’s temper rose even more when Tianyu said i Xuan was a friend.

As a fiancée who was officially engaged to him, Tianyu never even gave her status as a friend, let alone more.

But now, he called another girl like that? Not to ntion, he was addressing her so intimately while she was always referred to as ’Yan Xi’ flatly.

Such a contrast...

To be honest, she felt extrely aggrieved.

If she didn’t love Tianyu so much and didn’t want to hurt him, she wanted to forcefully separate them.

In fact, she tried before, but Tianyu stopped her with all his strength.

"Get lost? Yan Xi, you are testing my patience here. I didn’t say anything when you followed like this against my will. Don’t make hate you with your little tricks."

How could Tianyu ask i Xuan to get lost when he clearly knew that Yan Xi would try to kill her the mont she got the chance?

That thick fear and silence in i Xuan’s eyes were not just for show.

If Tianyu didn’t intervene, i Xuan truly believed she would die today.

She didn’t have the strength to fend off an attack from a foundation-established cultivator.

’Damn my luck. Why did I even use this spirit boat of all things? And where the heck are the captain and others?’

i Xuan bit her lip lightly in distress, refusing to leave Tianyu’s side for even a mont.

Yan Xi was so reckless that she directly attacked her on the spirit boat out of nowhere. And yet, she was genuinely confused as to why no one from the boat stopped her.

Poor girl didn’t know that Yan Xi already paid everyone off behind her back.

"Hate? Tianyu, you will hate just for this little girl? Are you so cold and enchanted by this vixen?"

Yan Xi felt her heart break after hearing his ruthless words.

Was she so insufferable that he was going to hate her just for this?

For god’s sake, she was his fiancée anyway. He didn’t deny her like this before when she gave him so much. She even helped him enter the Divine Cauldron Sect because of his request.

Why would he hate her now just because she asked him to leave that outsider?

Yan Xi couldn’t understand.

"Sigh..."

Tianyu felt completely exhausted when he saw Yan Xi’s devastated expression. This was the reason he didn’t want to et this girl before.

Yan Xi was extrely unstable when it ca to emotions. She couldn’t handle even the tiniest upheaval.

Tianyu knew that if he left her to her own devices like this, she would go even crazier.

So he looked at Yan Xi with cold eyes and directly gave an ultimatum in anger,

"Yan Xi, I don’t care what you think. I already said Xuan’er is my friend. If you still cannot trust , then I can do nothing."

"What kind of girl won’t even trust her fiancé?"

"Are you really forcing into hating you? Is that what you want? Don’t you even have an ounce of trust in ?"

Tianyu asked one question after another in a relentless barrage.

He was clearly trying to guilt-trip Yan Xi, and the way he carried it suggested this wasn’t the first ti he used this thod.

Sure enough, the mont Tianyu asked those questions, Yan Xi looked visibly stunned.

"Tianyu, that’s not... what I an..."

How could she allow Tianyu, whom she loved so deeply, to feel that she had no trust in him?

Yan Xi’s chest suddenly tightened, and her hands trembled slightly as a wave of frustration washed over her after hearing him.

She imdiately felt she might have reacted a bit too strongly, just like she did every ti.

Just as Yan Xi felt anxious and was about to apologize to Tianyu, she suddenly felt soone beside her talking softly,

"That’s right, Sister-in-law, how can you not trust your own fiancé?"

Surprisingly, it was Mo Zhiran, smiling amiably right beside her. It seed he was done enjoying the show and wanted to participate, too.

When he saw Yan Xi looking at him, Zhiran continued, completely ignoring the two piercing gazes from the front,

"Sister-in-law, although I’m always on your side, I have to say you were in the wrong this ti. No matter what, you shouldn’t have attacked i Xuan on the spirit boat out of nowhere."

Zhiran spoke as though he were defending Tianyu, but in truth, he was simply stopping this girl from causing another unnecessary incident.

After all, unlike before, they were already quite high in the sky this ti, and he was on the boat as well, wasn’t he?

"But... that girl..."

Maybe because Zhiran helped her enter the sect before, Yan Xi trusted him easily. So when he spoke like this, she beca even more aggrieved.

"Sigh... sister-in-law, if you think about it, the solution to this issue is actually very simple."

Zhiran didn’t care about her expression. Instead, he smiled suddenly and glanced at Tianyu, whose face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot.

Clearly, he didn’t appreciate Zhiran’s ddling.

"From what I see, you’re just worried Tianyu is having an affair with that girl. But according to Tianyu, she’s just a friend."

Zhiran said this as though he were analyzing the situation impartially, then added with a sly smile and obvious mischief in his eyes:

"So, sister-in-law... if it’s just a misunderstanding, why don’t the two of you make an oath and beco Dao partners? After all, you’re already enga—"

"Enough! Mo Zhiran, I’m warning you, don’t ddle in my affairs. We’re not that close."

Before Zhiran could finish, though, he was stopped abruptly by Tianyu’s cold voice; his anger even greater than before.

Sure enough, just as Tianyu expected, this guy wasn’t talking in his favour at all. He was clearly trying to pour more oil on the fire.

What oath and Dao partners?

Just hearing it made Tianyu’s body shiver in anxiety. So after stopping Zhiran, he looked at Yan Xi and gave his ultimatum,

"Yan Xi, like I said, since you are my fiancée, you should at least have trust in . If you don’t, then just cancel this engagent."

"I don’t want to get distracted in my cultivation. You should be grateful that you are even my fiancée in the first place."

After saying that, Tianyu turned around and directly left his position, intending to return to his room.

He was afraid that if he stayed a bit more, Yan Xi might pester him with that oath and Dao couple bullshit.

"Tianyu, wait for ."

Seeing Tianyu walk away in anger, i Xuan, who was standing silently behind him all this ti, hurriedly followed.

She was afraid that without him, she might get hacked to death by Yan Xi.

"Tch... this vixen..."

Unfortunately for i Xuan, her caution only threw her deeper into Yan Xi’s hatred as those red eyes, filled with murderous intent, locked onto her instantly.

Even Zhiran could feel how much she hated her.

"Cough... sister-in-law, it seems I talked too much. I shouldn’t bring up the topic of oaths and Dao partners. I am sorry."

Mo Zhiran suddenly coughed lightly and apologized as if he were blaming himself for Tianyu’s outburst.

"Zhiran... don’t, I know you ant good for . It is just... Tianyu is... he will never take such an oath."

To be honest, Yan Xi was feeling heartbroken at this mont. Even though she was a foundation realm expert, it was all due to her identity.

In truth, she was the spoiled daughter of a strong cultivator. She didn’t struggle much to reach her realm.

So she was lacking in real-world troubles.

Now that Tianyu directly threatened to cancel the engagent, Yan Xi was at a loss and in no mood to pursue him or that girl anymore.

Zhiran could also see Yan Xi’s feelings as they were practically engraved on her face at this mont.

He could see that she really liked Tianyu and couldn’t tolerate him with another girl. Honestly, he didn’t know what she saw in that guy to be so infatuated.

But that was neither his concern nor his interest. Zhiran was just afraid that the world wasn’t burning.

So seeing that Yan Xi was about to sulk and return to her room, he suddenly stopped her and suggested lightly,

"Sister-in-law, it might be true that Tianyu won’t take an oath, and he might get angry if you do sothing to his friend. But..."

Zhiran suddenly stopped and slyly whispered right into Yan Xi’s ear,

"...what about that girl, i Xuan? Don’t you think she could take an oath that she has nothing to do with Tianyu? Especially if she is really a friend, as he said?"

He asked as if it were too obvious.

In his opinion, if Tinayu wouldn’t take the oath, Yan Xi just needed to change her target.

An easy one, to be honest.
