"Why are you looking at like that?"

Zhiran asked i Xuan, who had been staring at him nonstop without blinking. It was as if she were seeing him for the very first ti.

"N-Nothing..."

i Xuan hurriedly lowered her head upon hearing his voice, her gaze shifting to the rapidly disappearing clouds below.

It was already the next day. After bidding farewell to Lianhua, Zhiran quickly left the Mo Mansion and set off toward the Divine Cauldron Sect.

One month was almost over, and it was ti to head to the Blood Mist Valley.

After all, he still had the mission given to him by Elder Yan Yue.

Just because he had suddenly reached the late stage of the Foundation Realm did not an Zhiran thought himself a big shot.

The world was vast, and he was nothing more than a speck of dust within it. Besides, Elder Yan Yue was a Gold Core cultivator. He was no match for her.

At least for now, he decided to follow her orders.

After obtaining the brain of an unknown Immortal as his backing, Zhiran’s ntality had changed greatly.

He was much calr than before.

"M-Master Z-Zhiran..."

"Hmm?"

Just as Zhiran was about to head to his cabin to ditate, he heard i Xuan whisper behind him.

"What?"

He asked, finding the girl quite unusual lately. Previously, she had been lively and constantly bickering with him. Now, however, she was as ek as a little bird.

Maybe becoming my subordinate dealt a heavy blow to her pride?

Zhiran thought before speaking lightly.

"If you’re worried about our new relationship, you don’t have to be. I have no other intentions toward you. As long as you don’t get in my way and follow my orders occasionally, you’ll be fine."

He paused briefly.

"And... you don’t need to call ’Master’ every ti you speak to . It’s quite... cringey, honestly."

He scratched his head awkwardly. He didn’t mind being called master—but only in bed.

Hearing it from i Xuan felt strange. He didn’t want to force anyone.

"N-No, that’s not what I ant. I’m perfectly fine being your subordinate."

Rather than troubled, i Xuan seed completely at ease with the arrangent.

"Then what are you trying to say?"

Zhiran asked, feeling there wasn’t much to talk about. They weren’t that close before, were they?

"Umm... if you don’t mind..."

Seeing his impatience, i Xuan mustered her courage and stepped closer. Leaning in slightly, she whispered into his ear.

"Master... what is your relationship with Aunt Lianhua? What are you going to do with her?"

It was really none of her business. She even knew it might be downright offensive to ask.

But she couldn’t help it; her curiosity was killing her.

Last night, she had stayed behind to guard the door as Zhiran instructed. Naturally, she heard everything, the screams, the moans.

Especially Aunt Lianhua. She had been completely overboard, practically drowning in pleasure.

’How shaless...’

i Xuan had never imagined Tianyu’s mother to be like that. She always appeared calm, gentle, and dignified, like a serene elder.

Clearly, she was terrible at judging people.

That morning, when they left the Mo Mansion, Lianhua had been smiling so brightly that she didn’t even care that i Xuan was present, kissing Zhiran for a long ti.

From the way they acted, it seed they intended to continue their relationship. But... given their situation...

i Xuan couldn’t help but wonder what Zhiran planned to do with Tianyu’s mother.

He wouldn’t really enter the sect and brag to Mo Tianyu that he slept with his mother, would he?

With how sour their relationship is, he just might.

For so reason, the thought made i Xuan shiver in excitent. Whether on Earth or in this world, it seed won were inherently drawn to drama.

"What are you thinking?"

Zhiran noticed her suddenly grinning like a mischievous girl and flicked her glabella, causing her to flinch.

"Little girl, what I do with Lianhua is none of your concern. You shouldn’t involve yourself in adult matters."

He reprimanded her lightly before turning around and walking toward his room, clearly done with the conversation.

"Little girl? Tsk... we’re the sa age. Who are you calling little?"

i Xuan muttered irritably, feeling looked down upon.

"Hmm? Compared to Aunt, you are quite little. Maybe you should work on that instead of worrying about others."

Though she whispered, Zhiran still heard her. He paused, glanced sideways at her chest, and comnted casually.

Then, as if nothing had happened, he walked away, leaving a stunned and confused i Xuan behind.

’What did he an?’

It took her a mont to connect the dots. When she recalled where his gaze had lingered, realization struck.

He’s calling flat-chested?!

"This bastard... how dare he?"

i Xuan flushed instantly, her cheeks turning crimson all the way to her ears.

’But... he’s not wrong. Aunt really does have huge ones...’

Her thoughts drifted to the way Lianhua’s chest had swayed freely beneath her loose clothes that morning.

’So he likes them big? Should I... do sothing?’

She looked down at herself seriously, her thoughts running wild.

Her mind truly worked in mysterious ways.

***

"Senior, did you make your decision?"

As soon as Zhiran entered his room, he closed the door, activated the protective array, and took out a Storage Ring.

This was the sa ring he picked up in the mine. The ring where the soul of Master Xueyin was sealed inside.

After a few days, the soul was already awake, although she was extrely weak. In fact, if she received help as soon as possible, Xueyin was on the verge of disappearing.

"Senior?"

"..."

Zhiran waited for a while, but Master Xueyin showed no sign of replying. Dejected, he couldn’t help sigh lightly...

"Sigh...Forget it. Since you have decided to ignore my offer, let help you get your rest. It isn’t good for the dead to roam this world for a long ti anyway."

He mumbled before placing his hand atop the ring.

---

[A fresh brain with a damage level of 0% has been detected.]

[Do you want to perform extraction?]

---

As soon as he did so, a familiar prompt appeared before him.

He had already given her a choice. If she was hellbent on remaining silent, then he had nothing more to say.

’Ex—’

"Wait... I have sothing to say."

Just as Zhiran was about to extract the brain, a transparent soul suddenly flew out of the ring and appeared right before his eyes.

Master Xueyin had originally intended to ignore him as usual, but she did not know why; an overwhelming sense of danger suddenly surged within her.

It felt as though, if she did nothing, she would vanish instantly.

’It’s the sa feeling as before. Just who exactly is this boy?’

Xueyin stared at Zhiran, confusion flickering in her eyes.

This was not the first ti they had t.

She had been summoned by Zhiran after he erged from the secret realm. At that ti, she had thought of him as nothing more than a low-realm brat; soone she could easily fool using her identity.

She had planned to use him, offering a few benefits in exchange. She had even tried to entice him with a Heaven-grade technique.

After all, she was currently too weak and needed all the help she could get.

Yet this boy had not listened to her at all. Instead, he had demanded that she submit to him.

The thought alone had made her furious.

She, a forr Mahayana Realm cultivator, submitting to soone who was only at the Foundation Realm?

No matter how monstrous his talent was, how could he dare harbor such thoughts?

Enraged, she had wanted to show him exactly who he had provoked—

Only to feel an unprecedented danger descend upon her out of nowhere.

That sensation... it was exactly the sa as now.

As soone who had once stood at the Mahayana Realm, she trusted her instincts more than anything else.

"Hmm? What do you wish to say, Senior?"

Zhiran asked calmly, getting straight to the point.

"Have you finally decided to submit?"

The reason he had not imdiately extracted her brain, despite it being far more profitable than keeping her alive, was that she was Mo Tianyu’s golden finger.

He did not know what consequences might arise if he truly did that.

While he was not afraid, he preferred to avoid unnecessary trouble if possible. Thus, he chose to attempt subjugation instead.

Of course, he was still unsure whether such a thing was even possible.

"Submit? J-Junior, why are you so fixated on this decision? Can’t we discuss this instead?"

Xueyin felt a headache coming on.

Soone she had never even spared a glance for in the past was now standing before her with such arrogance, and she could not do a single thing about it.

’Sigh... have I truly fallen so far that I’m being threatened by soone this weak?’

She felt both frustrated and helpless.

To be honest, if Zhiran truly pushed things to the extre, she had already resolved to use whatever strength she had left to launch a final attack before disappearing from this world.

Her pride would never allow her to submit to another.

If it had, would she have died in the first place?

"Oh? Is that so?"

Zhiran replied calmly.

"Then speak. I’m listening."

Fortunately, Zhiran was still sowhat reasonable, causing Xueyin to secretly breathe a sigh of relief.
