Three days.

It has been exactly three days since that rebellious son took over the company.

During these three days, Lao Gu had trouble eating and sleeping, for fear that he would hear the news of the company going bankrupt or being acquired as soon as he opened his eyes.

If his physical condition allowed it, Mr. Gu would have pulled out the IV needle in his arm and gone to the company himself to fight to the death with those locusts who were taking advantage of the situation.

Ever since the news of his serious illness spread, people throughout the company began to feel uneasy. Internal factions led by several shareholders, coupled with pressure from external competitors, ant that in just two months, such a large company suddenly beca precarious and in disarray.

This is when the disadvantages of a one-man show beco apparent.

When the only boss with the final say in the company fell, the rest of the people were like headless flies, and the situation suddenly beca chaotic.

At the sa ti, people who had been lurking in the dark also erged one after another like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.

Mr. Gu never knew that there were so many jackals, tigers and leopards surrounding him, just waiting for him to fall and then divide up his flesh and blood.

Those were the brothers who stood with him when he first founded the company!

What Mr. Gu doesn’t understand is why, now that their lives have improved, they have beco like this. Wasn’t it them who paid for the help during the most difficult tis?

Mr. Gu always thought that as long as he made the company bigger and stronger and then gave them more dividends, he would be able to repay their kindness. However, he did not know that people’s hearts are fickle and more than 20 years is enough ti for a person to undergo earth-shaking changes.

He had just been diagnosed with cancer by a doctor, and his so-called brothers imdiately turned against him.

While feeling heartbroken and exhausted, Mr. Gu originally planned to hand over full power of the company to the vice president whom he had trained for six or seven years.

The vice president is in his thirties and has outstanding abilities. Although he lacks so skills, he can still find a way to delay the treatnt until his condition improves.

However, just as Mr. Gu made the decision, and before it was announced, his son heard the news from sowhere and imdiately disagreed.

The brat’s original words were: “How can you not leave your things to your own son?” The way he stretched out his hand for money looked so righteous.

Mr. Gu was so angry that he fell backwards on the spot.

“…Why don’t you take a piss and look in the mirror? Even if I give it to you, can you keep it?!”

Mr. Gu is not belittling his son. The key point is that this kid is really disappointing. He has been a worry since he was young. He has never done any serious work since his family beca rich.

Skipping classes and fighting were common occurrences since middle school and high school. The most outrageous thing was his freshman year of high school. The company had just gotten on track and Mr. Gu was extrely busy. In the end, if the class teacher hadn’t been unable to hold back and complained, Mr. Gu would have had no idea that this bastard hadn’t been to school for almost the entire sester.

The books on the table were all brand new, without even nas written on them.

From that ti on, Mr. Gu realized that his son was completely useless.

Later, Gu Shao did not disappoint his father’s judgnt. He ran all the way in the direction of a playboy and finally successfully reached the top.

Let ask you, is there anyone in the entire city of A who doesn’t know the na of Gu Shao?

So in this situation, how could Mr. Gu be confident in handing over the company to him? Wouldn’t that be like throwing at at a dog, a one-way trip?

However, Gu Shao’s next words imdiately silenced Mr. Gu.

He said, “In the current situation, even Vice President Xu, whom you favor, doesn’t have the ability to turn things around. Unless the cancer cells in your body disappear overnight, the company will die sooner or later. It doesn’t make any difference. Rather than entrusting it to an outsider, it’s better to let it die in the hands of your own son. At least it’s not that bad.”

You can’t work hard for most of your life and end up letting others take advantage of you, right?

Old Gu always felt that what this little bastard said… made damn sense.

He is a very traditional man. He has worked hard all his life just to make life better for his family and his descendants.

After his death, the company would be handed over to his only son anyway. What else could he do? He couldn’t really donate it all, could he?

Just think of it as letting this kid inherit the estate in advance.

Mr. Gu was so confused that he actually agreed.

Looking back now, Mr. Gu felt extrely regretful and even suspected that the little bastard had drugged him with so kind of love potion, otherwise he wouldn’t have beco so dented.

Today is the day of the shareholders’ eting, and Mr. Gu has been feeling uneasy since early morning.

This sentint instantly reached its peak when shareholders and senior executives entered the eting room one after another.

Holding up his phone and watching the images from the surveillance cara, Mr. Gu’s heart suddenly tightened.

“He’s fine, why did he get involved in this ss!” In Mr. Gu’s eyes, his son had resolutely turned into a little lamb, surrounded by wolves, as if they were going to tear him apart and swallow him up the next mont.

Especially when he was standing there alone, facing several shareholders, his body seed so thin, and he looked weak and pitiful.

He is a playboy who can do nothing and knows nothing. If he really gets into an argunt, he will be bullied to death by that group of villains!

“…No, I have to go and see.” Even though he keeps saying that he dislikes his son, Mr. Gu only has one child in his life, Gu Shao. How could he not love him?

Gu Shao is Mr. Gu’s lifeblood, so much so that even though he is so out of line, Mr. Gu is reluctant to hit him.

Especially after his wife passed away, Mr. Gu raised the child alone and protected his son as if he was so treasure.

Looking at the boss who acted like an old hen, the secretary beside her couldn’t help but twitch her lips.

Therefore, it can be said that the reason why Young Master Gu has reached this point today is really due to the contribution of his boss.

Mr. Gu was extrely anxious and wanted to clear all the obstacles in front of him for his son. anwhile, Gu Shao’s condition did not seem as worrying as others thought.

The leading shareholder looked at the young man in his early twenties in front of him and couldn’t help but sneer in his heart.

“Hey, it’s Xiao Shao, why didn’t you go racing with your friends today?”

Gu Changjian must have lost his mind to actually dare to give the company to him.

No matter what, Gu Shao was sitting in the main seat today, and it was really frowned upon that the leading shareholder was so frivolous.

“Uncle Hu.” Gu Shao nodded slightly as a greeting.

The other party’s nonchalant attitude imdiately annoyed Mr. Hu: “What’s the matter? Who allowed you to sit there?”

“Before the shareholders’ eting is over, I think it’s better for you to sit down.”

“Really? I think it’s a done deal.”

This boy has a very arrogant tone!

The other shareholders couldn’t help it, and their eyes imdiately beca strange.

Mr. Hu narrowed his eyes and was about to say sothing when his cell phone suddenly lit up the next second.

Mr. Hu hung up without thinking.

The opponent attacked again, and Mr. Hu hung up again.

“Uncle Hu, I think it’s better for you to answer it.” Gu Shao reminded him considerately.

Feeling vaguely that sothing was wrong, Mr. Hu frowned and picked up his phone.

After hearing just two sentences, the man’s face changed.

Mr. Hu took a deep breath and adjusted his mindset in a second. He wanted to pretend that nothing had happened and continue sitting down for the eting.

But how could Gu Shao do as he wished?

“If you want to continue listening, I have no objection, but I rember that if there is a dispute over the shares in hand, you should not be able to participate in the decision-making, right?”

It turned out to be, a good thing, done by this kid!

Seeing that the plan was about to be accomplished, a Cheng Yaojin suddenly appeared halfway. Director Hu was a little angry and said, “Don’t think that you can defeat with such a small trick. You——”

[Cheng Yaojin = Used to describe a situation where soone shows up unexpectedly and disrupts a plan. It is also used to describe an unwelco busybody who shows up where he/she is not wanted.]

“You know whether it’s difficult or not.” Gu Shao laughed.

Mr. Hu’s expression suddenly turned ugly.

Damn it!

Mr. Hu never expected that the other party would suddenly do this to him.

Today, most of the company’s shareholders have been there since the company was founded and are old friends of Mr. Gu.

Friends interact with each other a lot.

When he was young, Gu Shao often visited the hos of his uncles and aunts, so he naturally knew their family situations well.

Mr. Hu had a wife before he beca successful. His wife’s family background was even much better than his. It can be said that Mr. Hu has been able to reach his current position thanks to his wife.

However, after he beca rich, the first thing he did was to divorce his wife.

At that ti, his powerful father-in-law had passed away, and his two remaining brothers-in-law were not very promising, so he no longer had any scruples.

Mr. Hu didn’t know that everything he did was seen clearly by the young Gu Shao.

“If I rember correctly, you didn’t have much money at that ti. The money you used to invest in my father’s company should have co from Aunt Jiang, right?” Gu Shao smiled.

Mr. Gu, who was lying on the hospital bed, was stunned.

He was aware of Lao Hu’s divorce, but he didn’t know any of the details. He just thought that the couple got divorced because of their marital discord.

…Where did this little bastard get to know this? He even knows about other people’s family affairs.

“It’s not certain whether this share belongs to you or Aunt Jiang.”

Gu Shao pointed to the door and said, “So Uncle Hu, please go in first.”

It’s really ugly to see the quarrel happening in public.

The most important thing is that the court summons has been sent to his ho, and he must deal with this matter first.

“…Just wait for , you little bastard!”

Gu Shao doesn’t need to attack them all, it is enough to seize one of the flaws.

Without the shares in Mr. Hu’s hands, the rest of the people won’t be able to cause any trouble.

“Is it necessary for us to hold this shareholders’ eting?” With the shares in Gu Shao’s hands, plus his father’s shares, how could the rest of his uncles and aunts have any say?

The faces of all the shareholders were extrely ugly.

They never thought that they would be defeated so miserably before they even made a move.

The shareholders have resolved the issue, but as for the company’s top managent…

Noticing that the senior executives headed by Vice President Xu were constantly looking at him, as if they were weighing sothing, Gu Shao signaled to the assistant beside him with his eyes.

The assistant understood and threw a photo.

“I have sothing good here, I wonder if you are interested.”

This is a graduation photo. It’s a bit old, but you can still vaguely see who is in the photo.

“Photo of the 2005 graduates of the 1511 class of the Finance Departnt of Huadu University… A friend of mine who graduated from Huadu University accidentally saw it in the school database.”

The person in the middle of the photo looked very familiar. Although he was dressed differently and wasn’t wearing glasses, it was still easy for everyone to tell who he was.

Isn’t this the boss of Huangi, the company’s rival?

As for the person next to him, whose shoulders were held by Huang i’s boss…

All of a sudden, everyone’s eyes were focused on Vice President Xu in front of them.

Mr. Gu tried desperately to enlarge the image on his phone, trying to make out sothing.

Subconsciously, Vice President Xu slightly exerted force on the hand holding the pen: “… Mr. Gu, what do you an by this?”

As expected of a man who has seen many storms, Vice President Xu was able to remain calm: “You wouldn’t hate to this extent just because you don’t like , hate , and because President Gu wants to hand the company over to , right?”

“It’s just a photo. What does it an? Who doesn’t have a few acquaintances?”

“We are all in the sa circle, so it’s normal for us to have had so connection with each other—”

“Pfft… cough.”

Holding back his laughter, Gu Shao looked at him calmly: “Don’t you notice that you talk a lot when you lie?”

Vice President Xu’s pupils suddenly shrank.

“As for whether it’s true…” Gu Shao leaned back casually: “I believe the police will investigate it clearly.”

“You don’t really think that I only have one photo?”

Since he has chosen to reveal his cards, he naturally has other chips in his hand.

Vice President Xu’s heart suddenly tightened.

Soon, the policeman pushed the door open and walked in: “Xu Li, right? Please co with us.”

It was worth it that Gu Shao specifically pleaded with the police and asked them to help him.

Now it seems that the effect is really outstanding.

No wonder the company’s performance has inexplicably declined a lot in the past two years. It turns out there is this factor at work.

Mr. Gu had a dazed look in his eyes.

At the sa ti, Gu Shao spoke again: “As for the company’s funding problem, Xingyu Technology should be able to allocate 120 million to cooperate with us in the near future.”

Gu Shao looked around: “So now, does anyone have any objection to sitting in this position?”

If the police don’t have evidence, they won’t summon soone in such a tough manner.

The senior executives were caught off guard by this sudden accident and imdiately beca much more cautious. They no longer looked at Gu Shao with the sa contempt as before.

Later, when they heard the words “Xingyu Technology”, they instantly beca excited.

“………………”

Is he really the bastard son who only knows how to eat, drink and have fun, and shalessly asks him for pocket money? ? ?

Looking at the young man on the screen who was moving forward and backward calmly and with ease, and stabilizing the chaos with a combination of fighting and defense, Mr. Gu had a confused look on his face. He seriously suspected that he was dreaming.
