Chapter 895: The person walking the red carpet
In the living room, Zheng Ziming had brought a large pile of evening gowns. Because she was going to walk the red carpet for the Golden Monkey awards tomorrow night, she had to go out for a while, so these things were delayed.

Xia Ning took a look and said with a smile,””You’re quite trendy, but don’t you show too much of your front?”
Zheng Ziming looked at the clothes in his hands and realized that they had a V-neck from the front to the back. He frowned and shook his head.”You’re right. It’s too revealing. Let’s change.” As he said that, he began to pour it out again.
Xia Ning couldn’t help but shake her head as she watched him look around.
At that mont, her phone rang. Xia Ning saw that it was from Qian Feng.
She picked up the call.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
After hearing Qian Feng’s words, Xia Ning only said,”alright.” Then, he hung up.
Zheng Ziming picked out an outfit to recomnd to Xia Ning, but when he looked up, he saw her looking down and deep in thought. He asked, “What’s wrong?”
Xia Ning shook her head and put her phone aside. She looked at the clothes in his hand and asked,””You picked this for ? I’m not the main character!”
“Who says you’re not the main character? you’ll definitely be the Best Female Lead this ti!” Zheng Ziming looked at Xia Ning with absolute certainty.”No one can compare to you.”
“Fine, fine, fine. I’m good at everything in your eyes.” Xia Ning chuckled.”But I don’t like bright red. Let’s change.”
“Alright,” he said. Zheng Ziming did not insist and continued to look for clothes for Xia Ning.
He lowered his head and furrowed his brows. He knew that she wasn’t happy, even if she didn’t say anything.
At the end of the day, Zheng Ziming picked a rose-gold dress for Xia Ning. It was decorated with many crystals and glittered under the light. Although Xia Ning thought it was too eye-catching, Zheng Ziming liked it. Besides, it was the only one that was more conservative and had nice sleeves.
“I’ve already rejected Jin Yan,” said Zheng Ziming.”You’re not going to walk the red carpet with him this ti.”
Xia Ning nodded and said,”okay.” She glanced at Zheng Ziming.”What reason did you use?”
“I told Jin Yan that the organizers have arranged a partner for you to walk the red carpet with.” Zheng Ziming replied.
“Who?” Xia Ning was a little surprised.
“I don’t know, but I suspect it’s director CEng.”
“Director CEng will be participating this ti as well. I heard that director CEng has the potential to win the Best Director award.” Xia Ning nodded and looked at the shiny clothes she had chosen. She was a little speechless, hoping that the elder would not laugh at her for being a little girl.
“But there’s sothing I need to tell you in advance.” Zheng Ziming looked at Xia Ning and suddenly said.

The smile on Xia Ning’s face did not change. She said calmly,””Yes.” Then, he took the coffee cup to the kitchen.
