Chapter 747: A Fight!
Jin Yan looked at Li Man and the smile on his face faded a little.
As if she did not notice the small incident just now, Xia Ning picked up a piece of braised pork and said with a smile, “The pork is good too. Miss Li, you can try it too.” She then continued to eat the food in her bowl.
“Xia Ning, why are you still calling Miss Li? Just call Li Man,” Li Man looked at Xia Ning and complained. “What Miss Li? It’s too distant.”
“Sure, Li Man.” Xia Ning smiled and continued eating.
Li Man picked up so food and put it in Jin Yan’s bowl across the table. “Jin Yan, I rember you like this. Have more.”
“Ok.” Jin Yan nodded and lowered his head to eat.
It was sowhat quiet at the table. Xia Ning felt tired out as she ate. She knew Jin Yan’s girlfriend would not be happy with them. She should stay away from Jin Yan from now on.
Jin Yan was really sothing. He should take care of his girlfriend at this ti. She was not a kid.
After dinner, Xia Ning said she wanted to do the dishes. Obviously, she could feel the atmosphere between Jin Yan and Li Man was a bit weird. It was better for her to leave first.
Next to the sofa, Jin Yan stared at Li Man and frowned slightly. “What is the aning of this?”
“I should be the one asking. Music King Jin, what is the aning of this?” Li Man sneered and darted a look at Xia Ning who was in the kitchen. “Did you forget who is your girlfriend now?!”
“It was my fault today,” Jin Yan said in a low voice. “Don’t be too much in front of Xia Ning. If anything happens, let’s talk in private.”
“You are so good to her! You can ignore your own girlfriend.” Li Man curled her lips.
“Li Man, that’s enough!” Jin Yan looked sowhat impatient. “Don’t make trouble for no reason.”
“Who makes trouble for no reason?” Li Man glared at Jin Yan. “You know clearly what you are thinking.”
“Let’s end this for now,” said Jin Yan with a frown.
“Who’s gonna end this with you? Jin Yan, if you like her, just go after her. I’m not gonna accompany you.” Li Man grabbed her bag on the couch and walked out directly.
Bam! The door was slamd.
Xia Ning’s hands that were washing the dishes stopped for a second. She looked up at the closed door and then to Jin Yan who was standing by the couch. She put down the plate and wiped her hands. She walked over and said, “What are you doing here? Go get her back. It’s normal for girls to lose their temper. Maybe she is waiting for you to go.”
“It’s ok. No need to worry about her,” said Jin Yan with a frown. He looked at Xia Ning. “You should rest here. I’ll go wash the dishes.”
“I can wash all that. Listen to and get her back. If you fought because of , I won’t dare to look for you anymore.” Xia Ning pushed Jin Yan away. “Go now. Guys need to be more proactive.”
Jin Yan darted a look at Xia Ning and sighed. “Wait for here.” As he spoke, he opened the door and went after Li Man.
Seeing that the living room was imdiately empty, Xia Ning went to wash the dishes first, then grabbed her bag and left.
Why would she stay at this ti? Did she want to be a third wheel?!
After leaving the house, Xia Ning could only go to her own villa.
But it was still early. Rembering her conversation with Zheng Ziming today, she frowned and made a call. “Investigate Song Bocheng’s schedule for today.”
