Chapter 743: Gave a Good Beating
The man on the other side did not speak.
Xia Ning sneered. “What’s the point of those boring little things? Did you think that could affect ? In your dreams, Su Jingcheng, I’ve never been grossed out like this. If I knew you were like this back then, I would never have chosen you.” She hung up directly.
It was already midnight in the ancient castle in England. A man was standing on the balcony in a nightgown. He stared at his phone and frowned slightly. Was she questioning him?!
After Xia Ning hung up, she got upset. She and Su Jingcheng were born enemies. After all, wasn’t he just after the money?
She started the car and drove ahead. Just at this ti, her phone rang. Xia Ning took a look at the screen. It was from Qiao Yu.
“Hello.” Xia Ning cald herself down and picked up the call.
“Where are you?” Qiao Yu’s voice ca from the phone.
Xia Ning took a look at the sign on the side and said, “On Osmanthus Road.”
“Shall we go out for dinner tonight?” In the office, Qiao Yu was leaning against the chair, playing with a delicate box. It was a diamond pendant.
“No.”
“Are you busy tonight?” Qiao Yu frowned and asked.
“There are paparazzi keeping an eye on lately, so I might need to stay outside for a while.” Xia Ning looked at the road and continued, “Enoch will be under your care for the next couple of days. I will call him later.”
“Why don’t we publicize it?” Qiao Yu said in a low voice.
Xia Ning’s hand on the wheel stopped for a second. She said in a low voice, “After so ti.”
“Sure,” Qiao Yu answered. “Take care of yourself outside. Tell where you live. I’ll go to visit you.”
“Ok, I’m driving. Bye.” Xia Ning hung up after that.
Qiao Yu looked at his phone and frowned a little. His eyes fell onto the box in his hand. She did not want a ring so he bought a necklace for her. He did not expect...
“Looking at your angry expression, I guess it’s a failure.” Mu Zichen looked at Qiao Yu sowhat speechlessly. “Alex, can’t you be a little successful? A woman has taken control of you but you still look like you’re enjoying it.”
Qiao Yu put the box on the table and looked at Mu Zichen who had his hands on the table. He said calmly, “Why? Did you take control of Wen Yue?”
The ntion of Wen Yue made Mu Zichen’s face turn ugly. “Don’t ntion her in front of . You don’t even know what my life has been like lately.”
“Did Wen Yue slap you?” Qiao Yu’s eyes fell onto the corner of Mu Zichen’s mouth. “She didn’t give you slack.”
“What?!” Mu Zichen glared at Qiao Yu. “It’s not Wen Yue at all. You will never guess who it was!”
“Who?”
“It’s the young master of SE Entertainnt, Zheng Ziming.” Mu Zichen sneered. “You don’t know how cruel he is. Beating up right away is so ridiculous! What’s his relationship with Wen Yue?!” The ntion of this made him upset.
Zheng Ziming? Qiao Yu raised his eyebrows. He rembered Zheng Ziming and Wen Yue knew each other and both of them were very close. He suddenly turned to Mu Zichen and asked, “Where were you?”
“What?”
“Let ask you. Where did you get beaten up?”
“Why are you asking so many questions?” Mu Zichen’s face was not looking good. “In a bar.”
“Who were you with?”
“Just drinking with so friends. Is this illegal?” Mu Zichen got more and more upset as he spoke. “He’s just like a f*cking crazy person. He didn’t even say anything and started to punch . My reputation is gone. How am I supposed to survive there?”
Qiao Yu darted a look at Mu Zichen. “I think he gave a good beating.”
