Chapter 633: Girlfriend!
In the chairman’s office on the 28th floor in Shengshi Group, Qiao Yu had just finished a telephone conversation. He picked up his cell phone, looked at the number, kept silent for a while, and then made a call.
Inside the car, Xia Ning’s cell phone that was in the center console of the car suddenly vibrated.
Jin Yan’s pupils shrank. He turned to look at the cell phone, and then looked at Xia Ning who was asleep beside him. His eyes fell on the cell phone again.
From this angle, he could see the calling number which was a series of numbers.
On the other end of the line, Qiao Yu heard the chanical voice that said there was nobody on the line. Qiao Yu frowned. Was it too noisy for Xia Ning to hear her cell phone? He put down his cell phone and continued to read the docunts.
When they arrived at the destination, Jin Yan called Xia Ning, “We have reached our destination.”
Xia Ning opened her eyes and looked straight ahead at the European style building not far away from them. Large grass fields surrounding the building and the whole place was fenced. She opened her mouth and looked towards Jin Yan.
Jin Yan smiled at her, “Do you find it the sa as before?”
Xia Ning nodded, “Yes, it looks the sa.”
“How can it be the sa? So people have donated money to it afterward and it was repaired and maintained once a few years.” Jin Yan smiled, “So you have to show your care as well, our future Movie Queen Xia.”
Xia Ning smiled, “Since the future Movie King Jin said it, I must obey.” Following that, she was about to open the car door, “Let’s get off and take a walk.”
“Ke, take your cell phone!” Jin Yan suddenly reminded her. “By the way, when you were asleep just now, there was a call.”
Xia Ning picked up her cell phone, glanced at it, and clicked the screen to see the calling number. Her eyes darkened.
“I saw you sleeping and did not wake you up. Do you want to call back now? I will enter after you finish the call,” Jin Yan said next to her.
Xia Ning turned off her cell phone’s screen and said indifferently, “There is no need. Let’s enter.” Saying so, she imdiately alighted from the car.
Jin Yan glanced at Xia Ning back, turned to get off as well, and locked the car.
The two people went into the area. Xia Ning touched the white fence and walked on the grass fields that were still green. Her eyes swept around the area as her mories gradually overlapped with the past.
Those mories were as unreal as a dream.
Xia Ning looked up at the grey sky, “Even the sky is the sa as before.”
“In the future, you can co here whenever you want to.” Jin Yan looked at Xia Ning, “I will accompany you.”
Xia Ning smiled, “There is actually no need. The only person I know here is you. Moreover, there should be nobody else who knows here.”
On hearing this, Jin Yan’s expression looked complicated. After she left that ti, the president and the staff had changed.
The atmosphere was stifling, Xia Ning looked at Jin Yan and smiled, “Don’t worry, Jin Yan. Others may be sad but I can lay down my sorrows.”
Jin Yan looked at her with pity. He still rembered the first ti he saw her. She was helplessly hiding at the corner of the bed with a terrified expression as if the whole world was filled with darkness.
At this ti, a middle-aged woman in a working suit ca towards them, glanced at Jin Yan for a few tis as if she recognized the person. She suddenly smiled and called, “Jin Yan, you ca.”
On hearing her, Jin Yan looked towards the middle-aged woman, smiled and called, “President Zhou.”
President Zhou ca up to Jin Yan, looked at him and smiled, “Have you been busy recently? You did not co to see for a long ti.”
“Yes, I’ve been a little busy. I have free ti now, so I ca here today.” Jin Yan smiled.
President Zhou nodded, “It is good for you to be busy. But rember to rest.” Saying so, her eyes fell on Xia Ning and she instantly smiled. She said to Jin Yan, smiling, “You brought your girlfriend here. Why don’t you introduce her to ?”
