Chapter 595: Being Late
The schedule has been canceled?! Xia Ning looked at the staff mber before her, frowning slightly. It was completely against her expectations.
“What do you an by canceling it? Did you get it wrong? Our Sister Xia Ning indeed received your production team’s invitation. If you don’t believe it, I can show you the ti in the letter. What do you an by the remark that we are late? It’s impossible!” With these words, she imdiately took out the invitation letter from her bag and handed it over to the staff mber.
The staff mber glanced at the invitation letter, “Our recording starts at eight o’clock. Ladies, please go back.”
“Before we ca, we had not been inford of any change of ti.” Wen Jing looked at the staff mber in fury, “What do you an by not informing us about the change of ti? How can you treat us like this?”
“Hey, who are you? How can you talk like this?” The staff mber glared at Wen Jing unpleasantly.
“What’s the matter?” A female voice ca.
Xia Ning turned there and saw an intellectual, fashionable woman in her thirties. She looked astute with her neat short hair and sensual with her red lips. Although Xia Ning had not seen her before, she probably knew that this was the famous host, Li Xinyu.
“Xia Ning!” Lin Nan’s voice ca afterward.
Looking at the man who took large steps to co up to her, Xia Ning nodded, “Brother Lin.”
“You ca. You have a nice complexion. It’s good that you finished your part of the shooting early.” Lin Nan smiled and glanced at the invitation letter in Wen Jing’s hand, “What’s the matter?”
Xia Ning looked at him and answered, “Shouldn’t the recording begin at eight-thirty?”
Lin Nan paused. Eight-thirty? He looked towards Li Xinyu behind him, “What’s the matter?”
Li Xinyu glanced at him, walked near, and said to Xia Ning coolly, “You are Miss Xia, right? Nice to et you.”
“Nice to et you too, Miss Li.” Xia Ning nodded.
Li Xinyu glanced at the invitation letter in Wen Jing’s hand, “Our talk show begins at eight.”
“But it’s eight-thirty in the invitation letter we received!” Wen Jing exclaid.
Xia Ning looked at Li Xinyu and turned her gaze to Lin Nan. He was also frowning. Therefore, it was true that the program began at eight.
“Xia Ning, don’t you watch Xinyu’s program?” A female voice sounded.
Xia Ning looked up and saw a woman in a long, blue dress stepping forward. She smiled as she continued to say, “Xinyu’s program always begins at eight. It will be aired live this ti. So it’s absolutely impossible to be eight-thirty.”
Hearing this, Li Xinyu fixed her gaze on Xia Ning as she frowned too lightly to be seen.
“I did not expect that Sister Cheng is also here.” Xia Ning smiled slightly.
Cheng Xuanfei smiled, “I just ca to visit Xinyu at her work.”
Xia Ning nodded and looked towards Li Xinyu, “The new female guest Miss Li ntioned seems to be Miss Cheng Xuanfei.”
Li Xinyu looked at Xia Ning and said coolly, “Miss Xia, as you ca too late, we have already changed the female guest today. Miss Xia, we hope to cooperate with you next ti.”
Xia Ning nodded as she looked at Li Xinyu apologetically, “Since I’m late, it’s reasonable of Miss Li to change the person. I’m very sorry about this. anwhile, Miss Li, I should apologize to you again. Sister Cheng is right. I usually don’t watch talk shows, so I did not know the ti of this program.”
Li Xinyu looked at Xia Ning with so surprise. She admitted it.
Seeing this, Wen Jing got upset. Why did Xia Ning apologize at this ti? It was apparently not their fault.
“Sister Xia Ning, it was they who had written the wrong ti in the invitation!” Wen Jing was so angry that she directly put the letter before Li Xinyu’s eyes to let her see clearly.
Abruptly, soone stretched out a hand to take away the letter from her hand. After a few tears, the invitation letter was shredded into pieces.
