Chapter 592: Does Love Allow Betrayal?
Before long, Mu Zichen and Gao Yang left. It was also getting dark. Xia Ning stood on the balcony to look outside. Thinking about sothing, she was not aware that Qiao Yu had appeared behind her.

Before Xia Ning had ti to speak, his warm palms covered her hands.

Looking at Xia Ning’s slightly cold face, Qiao Yu asked in a soft voice, “Are you unhappy because of Mu Zichen and Wen Yue?”
“I cannot get through to Wen Yue either.” Xia Ning looked straight forward and asked, “In your opinion, does love allow betrayal?”
“I won’t betray you.” He replied without hesitation.
Xia Ning froze. She turned to look at his fair face and just t his deep, pitch-black eyes, in which the affection made her heartbeat slow down. She looked away without a word.
“Don’t you believe ?” Qiao Yu questioned as he adjusted her position to make her et his gaze.
Xia Ning looked at the man before her. His handso face seed a bit rigid at this mont because of his somber mood. His deep frown was enough to show his caution or even nervousness at this instant.
“There are so things that you cannot achieve just by words alone. But Qiao Yu, I’m not doubting you.” Xia Ning raised her hand to soothe his frown as she smiled, “Other people’s matters won’t affect my judgnt about you. If there is an exception in this world, I believe the one to be you.”
Her hand caressed his face lightly as if it was a feather brushing across his heart. His heart trembled subconsciously. He raised his hand to cover her hand, took it to his lips to kiss it, and whispered, “You are really good at comforting people.”
Seeing his burning gaze, Xia Ning bent her head subconsciously. But he suddenly touched her face. His breathing coming gradually near her, her eyelashes shivered automatically. She did not escape.
A warm object touched her lips so softly as if he was treating a work of art in his palm. He feared that he would crush her with his strength. His hands fell on her back, he drew her close into his arms.
Xia Ning closed her eyes as she let the man kiss her. Her consciousness gradually disappearing under his attack of tenderness, her hands spontaneously circled his waist.
Xia Ning did not know how much ti had passed before she felt a bit stifled. She pushed Qiao Yu lightly.
Qiao Yu released her and looked at her rosy face. Pressing his forehead against hers, he gasped hoarsely, “I really want...”
He did not say what he really wanted. Xia Ning could probably figure it out. She clasped onto his clothes, bent her head, gasped lightly, and pursed her lips, “I’m hungry. Go downstairs to cook.”
Looking at her shyness, Qiao Yu kissed her forehead, “Okay, I’m going to cook for you.” He gazed longingly at her, “I’m hungry too.”
Feeling his body warmth and the coquetry in his words, Xia Ning felt more uneasy. She loosened her hand to walk into the room, “I’m going to stay with Enoch.”
Seeing her flee, Qiao Yu smiled and did not stop her. Usually, she was like a fierce kitten. But once it ca to intimacy, she got extrely shy. If he cornered her too much, she might show her claws. Therefore, he had to be patient.
Today, Gao Yang had asked him a question before leaving. Was he really going to marry her this ti?
His reply was that he never changed. If he would get married in this life, his spouse could only be her.
