Chapter 575: I Will Go With You
In the Qiao mansion, Gao Wanhua was surprised when she saw Xia Ning and Qiao Yu co back together.
“Why did you co back so early today?” She asked Qiao Yu.
Xia Ning glanced at Qiao Yu and walked towards Enoch.
“Mummy, hug !” Enoch opened his arms towards Xia Ning.
As soon as Xia Ning and Qiao Yu ca inside, he had been joyful, obviously not having expected his mother’s early return.
Holding Enoch in her arms, Xia Ning sat on the sofa and asked gently, “Have you had a good breakfast?”
“Yes, Mummy. I had a big bowl of adzuki porridge.” Enoch nodded furiously. He pulled at the small balls on Xia Ning’s nylon coat, “Mummy, I want to eat sothing you cook.”
“Okay, Mummy will cook for you at noon.” Xia Ning caressed Enoch’s head, smiling, “What do you want to eat?”
“I love everything Mummy cooks!” Enoch looked at Xia Ning with keen anticipation.
Xia Ning kissed his little face, “Alright, I’ll cook sothing delicious for Enoch.”
Qiao Yu watched Xia Ning and Enoch showing affection towards each other with tenderness in his eyes. He turned to look at Gao Wanhua and said, “Xia Ning’s cousin will co here in a while!”
Xia Ning’s cousin will co here? Gao Wanhua looked at Qiao Yu. In S City, it seed that only the Shen family mbers were Xia Ning’s relatives. She asked tentatively, “Do you an Tianlang?”
“Yes!” Qiao Yu nodded.
Gao Wanhua: “...” Wasn’t Tianlang also his cousin? Why did he say it in such a mysterious and solemn way?!
Qiao Yu went upstairs to change his clothes. Then he ca downstairs in casual wear and sat beside Xia Ning.
“Daddy!” Seeing Qiao Yu sit down, Enoch imdiately crawled towards him from Xia Ning’s side.
Qiao Yu stretched out his hand to support him and made him sit down between him and Xia Ning.
“Daddy, I want to go out to play!” Enoch pulled Qiao Yu’s clothes in eager anticipation, “Did you co back with Mummy to take outside and play?”
“What do you want to play?” Qiao Yu asked softly.
As Enoch knew he could not go to the amusent park, he thought for a mont and shook his head, “I don’t know either.” He just wanted to play with Daddy and Mummy.
“Shall we go to the park this afternoon?” Xia Ning proposed. She looked at Qiao Yu, “The sun is out today. Let’s take him out to bask in the sun.”
Being aware that Qiao Yu was engaged in his work, Xia Ning smiled, “If you are busy, you can go to work. I will take him...”
Looking at Xia Ning beside him, Qiao Yu answered, “I won’t go to my company this afternoon. Let’s go to the park together.”
“Good, good. Daddy and Mummy will take to the park.” Enoch was so happy that he jumped on the sofa and called to Gao Wanhua, “Grandma, Daddy and Mummy will take out to play.”
Gao Wanhua was telling the servants to prepare for lunch. On hearing the hearty laughter of her grandson, she could not help but smile, “I know. Now that you have Daddy and Mummy, you don’t want your grandma.”
Enoch imdiately got off the sofa and ran to Gao Wanhua, “Grandma, you should go with us.”
Gao Wanhua picked up Enoch, “Grandma won’t go. Grandma did not sleep well last night. I want to have a good rest today.” It was rare for the three to go out together as a family. Why would she bother them?
Xia Ning sat on the sofa. Feeling that the man next to her was gazing at her, she was uneasy.
“Do you want anything to drink? I’ll get you a drink!” Xia Ning got up to go to the kitchen.
Her wrist was suddenly seized. Xia Ning turned to see the man behind her in surprise. He stood up as she watched him and was looking at her tenderly, “I will go with you.”
