Chapter 557: It Was All a Trick
When Enoch woke up, he saw Xia Ning by his bedside and happily threw himself into her arms at once. He looked up at her, “Mummy, am I dreaming?” He seized Xia Ning’s clothes tightly with his hands, his lips pouting, his eyes sleepy, and his expression dazed.
Xia Ning hugged Enoch and said with a smile, “You are not dreaming. Mummy is with you and will always be by your side, all right?”
“Yes! Yes!” Enoch nodded frantically and laughed instantly, “I can be with Mummy every day from now on.”
Gazing at his innocent face, Xia Ning felt a lump in her throat and slightly pursed her lips. Once so emotions were aroused, it would be hard to suppress them.
In spite of this, she was not able to take control either. Perhaps this was her nature.
Qiao Yu walked in after changing his clothes and said to Enoch, “Don’t attach yourself to your mother all the ti. Get up quickly. We will accompany you to play in the afternoon.”
“Good, good. Daddy, I want to go to the amusent park to play!” Enoch looked at Qiao Yu in excitent.
On hearing this, Qiao Yu slightly frowned, “It is too cold to go to the amusent park. We can play at ho as well.”
“No!” Enoch grew unhappy instantly and pouted at Qiao Yu, “When it was hot, Daddy said it was too hot to go. When it was cold, you refused to go either. Then when can I go to play there?” Saying so, he pulled on Xia Ning’s clothes for help pitifully.
Seeing his eyes blink, Xia Ning instantly beca tender and imdiately turned to look at Qiao Yu.
But Qiao Yu seed to ignore her gaze. He looked at Enoch and said in a low voice, “It’s useless to beg your mother. I forbid you to go.”
“Boo... Daddy is bad!” Enoch raised his head to cry loudly, “I won’t like Daddy any longer!”
Seeing so, Xia Ning imdiately embraced him to give him comfort, “Dear, don’t cry. Mummy will take you there, all right?”
“Really, Mummy?” Enoch stopped crying instantly and looked at Xia Ning with his tearful eyes full of hope.
Xia Ning froze at Enoch’s ability to stop crying all of a sudden. She turned to look towards Qiao Yu.
Qiao Yu also looked at her and slightly frowned dejectedly.
Xia Ning was a little speechless. Tears turned out to be the best weapon. She looked at Enoch and said gently, “I can certainly take you to the amusent park. However, since you haven’t fully recovered from the cold and it’s chilly outside, you cannot go. I shall take you there this coming spring, all right?”
Seeing Xia Ning also disagree, Enoch’s little face instantly fell. He glanced at Qiao Yu, only to find Qiao Yu staring at him seriously.
He pouted and nodded at Xia Ning, “Okay, I’ll listen to Mummy.”
Gazing at Enoch, Xia Ning felt like laughing. Did children all learn to play tricks nowadays? That children begin to cry over any rejection was sure to force their parents to compromise.
Qiao Yu seed to rarely fall for Enoch’s tricks normally.
To tell the truth, he was really careful about the child.
After Xia Ning helped Enoch get dressed, Qiao Yu ca to pick up Enoch.
Seeing Qiao Yu taking Enoch outwards, Xia Ning was about to tidy the room up. Suddenly, she felt tightness on her wrist, for Qiao Yu had seized her.
“What’s the matter?” Xia Ning looked up at Qiao Yu in surprise.
Qiao Yu was also looking at her, “Let’s go downstairs together.”
“I want...” Xia Ning was about to talk.
Qiao Yu imdiately interrupted her, looking at her tenderly, “I can hold Enoch with one hand and take your hand with the other free hand at the sa ti.”
From now on, wherever they went, the three of them were one family.

At this ti, however, Xia Ning’s cell phone suddenly rang on the bedside table. Xia Ning drew back her hand to pick it up. She glanced at it and imdiately hung up.
But her cell phone rang again soon.
“You can answer it first. I’ll go downstairs with Enoch.” Glancing at her cell phone’s screen, Qiao Yu turned to walk out with Enoch.
