Lu Qing heard this and sneered. “Isn’t he just a little director for idol dramas? He’s only capable enough to do this kind of unpopular shows. Why would he be all over himself?”

Xia Ning nodded. “Thank you, Director Zeng.”
“Don’t take this as helping you. I just don’t want you to be in the headlines about being a diva lately,” Zeng Jun thought for a mont and said with a frown. He then turned around and wanted to leave.
Xia Ning smiled. “Yes. But I still want to thank you, Uncle Zeng.”
Zeng Jun heard this and raised his eyebrows slightly. He did not say anything else and left on his own.
Xia Ning moved the corner of her lips. He looked exactly like her father, being so awkward. No wonder they were as close as brothers.
However, Lu Qing was sowhat crossing the line this ti. She was even using her na to make a scene at an audition. Good thing Director Xu clarified it for her. Otherwise, Director Xu might just start to hate her.

Qiao Yu saw Xia Ning standing still and thinking. He walked to her side and said in a low voice, “Did you run into any trouble?”
Realizing that it was Qiao Yu, Xia Ning ca to herself at once. She shook her head. “No.” After so thought, she said, “Thanks.”
“Thanking for what?” Qiao Yu looked at her and asked in a low voice.
Xia Ning curled her lips a little. “Of course, I’m thanking you for the food, President Qiao. That restaurant really has so good food.”
Qiao Yu stared at her. “If you like, I can order it for you every day.”
Xia Ning smiled. “No need. Good food should be eaten just once, any more and it will taste like usual food. Thank you, President Qiao. I need to check on Director Zeng.” As she spoke, she walked towards Zeng Jun’s direction at once.
But as she was walking, she realized that Qiao Yu was right behind her. She frowned a little. “What are you doing?”
