Sun Xin stopped in her tracks and stood rooted to the ground. She looked at Liang Shao' an in disbelief."You're saying that Lin Yi is the ex-girlfriend that seventh uncle has been waiting for seven years?"
Liang Shao' an looked at her."Yes."
"No way. She looks even younger than ." As Sun Xin spoke, she couldn't help but pinch her own face.
Liang Shao' an looked at Sun Xin in amusent. Were all won's attention on this?
"Sothing's wrong!" Sun Xin suddenly asked,"then does seventh uncle know that she's back?"
"I know. I'm afraid that seventh uncle was willing to get married because of her."
"Don't tell seventh uncle doesn't mind Lin Yi taking care of a child?"Sun Xin asked, puzzled. Or is that child seventh uncle 's?"
Liang Shao' an's expression darkened."The child isn't seventh uncle 's. As for whether seventh uncle would mind, I don't know."
Sun Xin frowned."This is too ..."
Although she shouldn't judge other people's lives, Lin Yi had abandoned seventh uncle back then. Now, she was living with seventh uncle with soone else's child. Seventh uncle looked so pitiful.
"Alright, let's not think about this. I'm hungry. Let's go up and eat." Liang Shao' an suddenly said.
Sun Xin was pulled back from her thoughts. She nodded."Okay!"
The couple walked up the stairs hand in hand. The doctors who passed by smiled and greeted them when they saw them.
Lin Yi took Angela to the supermarket to buy so groceries before going ho.
The little girl was in good spirits. She was not tired at all when she got ho. She was still sitting on the carpet and putting together the puzzle that she had not finished before.
Lin Yi, on the other hand, was making soup in the kitchen. After staying in the hospital for a day and a half, she felt that Angela's face had lost a lot of weight.
After making the soup, she went back to her room and picked up her phone on the bedside table to see if there were any ssages. However, her phone was out of battery and couldn't be turned on.
After she had charged the phone, she went out to play with her daughter.
She didn't sleep much last night. She fell asleep after leaning on the sofa for a while.
When she woke up again, it was already seven in the evening.
She opened her eyes and realized that it was dark outside. She was shocked and sat up imdiately.
"Mommy, you're awake."
Lin Yi turned her head and saw Angela sitting on the carpet, holding a toy in her hand.
"Baby, it's already dark. Why didn't you wake mommy up? are you hungry?"
"Mommy, I'm not hungry."
Lin Yi looked at her daughter's obedient expression and walked over. She patted her head and said,"the soup should be ready long ago. Mommy will go get you a bowl of soup."
Angela nodded."Mommy wants so too."
"Alright!" Lin Yi smiled and walked to the kitchen. Soon, she ca out with two bowls of soup. The mother and daughter leaned on the coffee table and finished the soup.
The little girl was a little tired after playing for the whole afternoon. She started yawning after drinking the soup. Lin Yi brought her back to her room to take a shower and let her go to bed.
After making arrangents for Angela, Lin Yi finally rembered to turn on her phone. There were more than 200 missed calls, all from Liang Jingchuan. She was dumbfounded.
No wonder his phone would run out of battery and shut down!
There were also many ssages in the inbox, all asking her to answer the phone.
Lin Yi took her phone to the living room and called him back.
The call was picked up very quickly. The man's voice was filled with anxiety."What have you been doing? you only called back now. Do you know how worried I was?"
"I'm sorry. I had sothing to do yesterday, so I left my phone at ho. " Lin Yi explained.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
Lin Yi said apologetically,"I'm fine. I'm sorry for making you worry."
"So you know that I'm worried about you. In the future, can you stop doing such stupid things like dropping your phone?"
Lin Yi imdiately promised,"I promise I'll be more careful next ti."
"So, you an you didn't co ho last night?"
Lin Yi thought that since Liang Shao' an had already seen it, Liang Jingchuan would definitely find out about it soon, so she decided to tell him as soon as possible, in case he kicked up a fuss with her.
"Are you free tomorrow night?"
