When they got ho, Lin Yi went to cook for Angela.
While they were cooking, Liang Jingchuan called.
"What are you doing? stir-frying?"
"Yeah," Lin Yi said while cooking,"I have to prepare dinner. Are you off work?"
"I just got off work. I'm eting old Yan and the others for a al."
"Okay, have fun."
"But I'm not happy."
Lin Yi looked at the dishes and saw that they were almost ready. She turned off the fire and asked with a smile,""Didn't we have an appointnt with Zou Kai and the others? why are you unhappy?"
"Because you're not with , and you won't tell where you're staying. I miss you."
It wasn't the first ti Lin Yi had heard him say sothing like that, but she still couldn't help but blush. She whispered,""Didn't we just et this afternoon?"
"That was in the afternoon. You know how much I want to be with you all the ti. Honey, don't you miss ?"
Lin Yi wanted to laugh. This guy hadn't changed at all. He was still so clingy, like a little puppy asking for love.
"En!" She responded.
"Then I'll co find you tonight."
Lin Yi's expression changed slightly. She looked at Angela who was outside the kitchen and hesitated."I don't think so. It's not like I won't be able to see her on Monday."
"I'm now very suspicious of the truth of what you said about missing . "
"It's really inconvenient,"Lin Yi said helplessly.
"Then I won't go up. You co down. You're not allowed to refuse."
Lin Yi knew that there was no room for negotiation, so she could only agree."Alright, I'll send you the address. Call when you arrive."
"Alright!"
After consoling a certain soone, Lin Yi turned off her phone and took out the dishes. She carried the dishes out and shouted,""Angela, wash your hands and eat."
Angela imdiately threw away the toy in her hand and ran to the bathroom to wash her hands.
After dinner, Lin Yi told Angela a story as usual.
Angela frowned."Mommy, you've told the story of Cinderella so many tis that I can recite it out."
Lin Yi was a little embarrassed."Mommy thought that the story was quite good, so she couldn't help but tell it a few more tis."
Angela looked at Lin Yi and nodded.""Then, mommy, you tell ."
Telling a story wasn't Lin Yi's ultimate goal. She tried to probe,""Angela, do you think that stepmother is a bad person?"
"It's bad. "
"That's why it's still better to have a biological mother. "
"Yeah." Angela nodded.
"By the sa logic," Lin Yi continued,"we can co to the sa conclusion. Compared to a step-father, a biological father is definitely better, right?"
Angela looked at her and did not say anything.
Lin Yi felt a little guilty under her stare, so she changed the topic."Do you think Lucas is happy?"
"Yes."
"Why is he so happy?"
"Mommy, what are you trying to say?" Angela frowned.
Lin Yi took a deep breath, looked at her daughter, and said seriously,""Lucas is happy because his parents are with him. Mommy hopes that Angela will be as happy as Lucas."
"But mommy, I have Dady. If mommy is with Dady, I'll be even happier." Said Angela.
Lin Yi couldn't help but poke her daughter's nose."You've learned how to matchmake people. I'm your sister, Lin Dadi. How can we be together?"
"But you're not really siblings." Angela pouted.
"You can't do that either. Have you forgotten what mommy told you? He has helped us so much all these years. We can't continue to trouble him. That would be too selfish. " Lin Yi looked at her daughter and said seriously.
Angela frowned."But Dady doesn't think it's too much trouble. Or do you not like him, mommy?"
Lin Yi looked at her daughter. She's still so young. Does she know what it ans to like soone?
However, she still replied,"yes, mommy has no love for him."
Angela looked at her mother and asked,""So, mommy, are you going to be with that person?"
