Liang Jingchuan looked at her with a half-smile."It's late!"
Lin Yi's mouth twitched as she tilted her head to look in front of her. Her mind was filled with what had happened yesterday, and she was extrely embarrassed.
Furthermore, she could clearly feel Liang Jingchuan's gaze on her. For so reason, she felt a chill down her spine.
Fortunately, there were quite a few people on the elevator, so Lin Yi felt less stressed.
When they finally reached the 22nd floor, Lin Yi was the first to rush out of the elevator to clock in. Then, she ran towards the office as if she was being chased by wolves.
Liang Jingchuan looked at Lin Yi's back as she ran away, and the corners of his lips curled up into a cold smile. Was she finally afraid?
In the business departnt, everyone was a little surprised to see Lin Yi running in, panting.
"What's wrong, Lin Yi? Why was he in such a hurry? It's fine if you're late!"
"Yeah, look at the sweat on your face." A colleague imdiately handed him a tissue.
As the only woman in the business departnt, it was only natural for everyone to take care of her.
Lin Yi took it and nodded at him. She went back to her seat and wiped her sweat.
She pretended to be relaxed and said,"thank God I'm not late!"
"Don't be nervous. Our company's schedule is very flexible. It's not that strict. It's fine to be late. " Song qun consoled,
Lin Yi nodded."I'll find out in the future. But I overslept this ti. I'll set an alarm for you next ti." She said with absolute certainty.
If she had not woken up late, she would not have bumped into Liang Jingchuan.
After sitting for a while, Lin Yi cald himself down and was ready to start working. At that mont, Zhang Yang walked in and said,""Miss Lin, boss wants to drink coffee. Please make a cup and send it to him."
Lin Yi looked at Zhang Yang, and his eyebrows twitched. He forced a smile and said,""CEO Liang, do you drink coffee every morning?"
Zhang Yang did not answer Lin Yi's question. Instead, he smiled and said,"miss Lin, please hurry up. The boss doesn't like to wait." With that, he turned around and left.
As soon as he left, the office imdiately beca lively. A few n imdiately surrounded Lin Yi.
"Lin Yi, did you offend the boss?"
"Yeah, I heard from Hao Yong from the Human Resources Departnt that you were scolded by boss last night. What happened?"
"Boss asked you to make him coffee. He's not trying to make things difficult for you, is he?"
The few of them voiced out their doubts.
Seeing everyone's worried faces, Lin Yi smiled and said,""You're thinking too much. Yesterday, President Liang was just giving so pointers on my work. You know that I just graduated from school, so I might not be able to et his requirents. Besides, it's my honor to have President Liang ask to make coffee. It ans that I'm good at making coffee. "
Seeing Lin Yi's optimistic expression, everyone couldn't believe that things were that simple. However, it seed like they wouldn't be able to find out the truth from her.
Lin Yi wasn't as relaxed as she looked when she saw everyone return to their seats and continue working. Their words reminded her of yesterday's incident. She was afraid that this trip would be fraught with grim possibilities.
However, she had to go even if it ant going through a mountain of daggers and a sea of flas.
She took a deep breath, stood up, and walked out of the office.
She went to the pantry and made so coffee. She took the milk and sugar packets and went to knock on the door of the general manager's office.
"Co in!" Liang Jingchuan's voice ca from inside.
Lin Yi held the plate in one hand and the door handle in the other. Then, she pushed the door open.
