Chapter 1002:-can’t tell
In the Qiao family’s mansion, Xia Ning stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and made a phone call.”Alright, go ho early and rest.” She hung up and turned around, only to see Qiao ran walking towards her with a piece of cake in her hands.
She smiled and walked over.
Looking at the birthday cake in Qiao ran’s hands, Xia Ning rebuked,””You’re really too much. You didn’t even tell in advance that it’s mom’s birthday. I didn’t even prepare anything.” He had bought the cake at the last minute.
“You’ve co back to celebrate her birthday with her. This is the best gift. ” Qiao ran said gently.
Xia Ning was still unhappy.”How is that the sa? besides, you didn’t prepare a gift for Mother either. She worked so hard to take care of Enoch for us, but we ...”
“I’ve already brought a gift for mom. ” Qiao Yu replied.
“What?” “What is it?” Xia Ning asked, puzzled.

Xia Ning was speechless.
Fine, she was now a gift again.
“Can’t you be more careful? I’m guessing mom must be regretting not having a daughter.” Xia Ning’s fingers touched the cake, grabbed a handful of cream, and sared it on Qiao Yu’s face.

Xia Ning looked over and saw Enoch fidgeting on the chair. She imdiately said,””Be careful, don’t fall down.”

Suddenly, she felt a chill on her face. She turned around and saw Qiao Yu’s hand that was covered in cream.
“What are you doing!” She glared at Qiao Yu.
Qiao Yu looked at her and raised an eyebrow,”shouldn’t a married couple go through thick and thin together?”
“Who wants to share your joys and sorrows?” Xia Ning ran off imdiately after saying that.
Qiao Yu smiled, his eyes filled with gentleness. She didn’t hate this word, did it an that they were going to have their wedding soon? He couldn’t wait to see her in a wedding dress.
After celebrating Gao Wanhua’s birthday, Xia Ning carried Enoch to the sofa and played with him. He fell asleep soon after.
Gao Wanhua said that he was exhausted. During the day, he had helped blow up many balloons and even learned how to put flowers in them. He hadn’t even slept in the afternoon.
Xia Ning wanted to carry him upstairs to sleep, but Gao Wanhua insisted that he sleep with her.
Looking at the earnest look in the old lady’s eyes, Xia Ning understood what she ant. She wanted to have a second grandson.
When Xia Ning went upstairs, her gaze fell on the carpet unconsciously. She imdiately realized that the carpet had been changed, so he must have seen her put that thing on the carpet in the morning.
At the thought of this, Xia Ning’s face turned red. Why had she lost her integrity after being with him?
At this ti, Qiao Yu walked in. Seeing her standing at the door in a daze, he asked,””What’s wrong?”
Xia Ning snapped out of her daze and glared at Qiao Yu. She grabbed her pajamas and rushed into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
Qiao Yu: “...” He looked at the tightly shut door in confusion. What was going on?!
His gaze fell on the spot she had been looking at, and he suddenly thought of what he had seen in the morning. He instantly felt his mouth go dry.
The corners of his mouth suddenly curled up. He was shy.
When Xia Ning ca out of the bathroom, Qiao Yu was sitting on the bed.
Xia Ning had just washed her hair and was drying it with a hairdryer. As soon as she plugged it in, Qiao Yu ca over and snatched the hairdryer from her hands.”Let dry it for you.”
Xia Ning smiled and let him blow on her.
He wasn’t very skilled at drying his hair, but it was very comfortable.
After she was done drying her hair, Xia Ning was about to get up, but Qiao ran was one step ahead of her. She imdiately dragged her out of bed and pressed her down on the newly-laid carpet.
“What are you doing!” Xia Ning said angrily.
Qiao Yu smiled,”does this color of the carpet look nice?”
“Yes.” Xia Ning’s face was a little red as she recalled the scene from this morning.
Qiao Yu chuckled and whispered in her ear,””I think so too. You won’t be able to tell even if you put it on.”
