He frowned slightly, "If drinking it would work, I’d drink it for you."

"Don’t be so fake, are you trying to flaunt that you can have children and I can’t?" Hearing this, Qiao Mo’s tone turned sharp.

"You know I don’t an that."

Qiao Mo sat up from the bed, "I don’t care what you an, I’m telling you, Fu Nancheng, you know exactly why we got married. Don’t tell you really still expect to have a child with you."

He seed a bit disheartened, his dark eyes deep, gazing at her without speaking.

Qiao Mo continued, "Let tell you this, even if I could have children, I wouldn’t have any, and certainly not with you, so there’s no need for this dicine, just throw it away."

With those words, she lay down again, turning her back to him.

His thin lips pressed lightly together as his expression turned sowhat gloomy.

Qiao Mo lowered her eyes slightly; she could feel that he was unhappy.

But that dark, murky stuff slled so unpleasant, how could she drink it?

Footsteps sounded behind her; he seed to leave the bedside and return to the table.

Qiao Mo secretly opened her eyes, looking in his direction.

He looked back with an icy expression, and Qiao Mo hurriedly closed her eyes again, her heart a bit unsettled.

It’s over... it’s over...

How did she get the feeling that she wouldn’t escape drinking this dicine today?

He remained silent for so long that Qiao Mo even wondered if he had finally decided to let her off this ti.

But when she opened her eyes again, a soft pair of lips pressed against hers.

Then, the bitter liquid was transferred from his mouth to hers.

Qiao Mo was caught off guard and instinctively swallowed, the bitter taste spreading, making her furrow her brows deeply, feeling particularly uncomfortable.

He didn’t imdiately leave her lips, lightly kissing and licking as he softly said, "Is this the only way you’ll drink it?"

Her face flushed, and as soon as she opened her mouth, he poured another mouthful of the herbal dicine in.

Qiao Mo almost choked, coughing lightly twice, the intense bitterness spreading down her throat, leaving her quite uncomfortable.

In the next instant, a piece of candy was transferred from his mouth, sweet and dissolving so of the bitterness.

The whole process was extrely fast, not even giving Qiao Mo ti to resist.

The sweetness spread in her mouth, but he didn’t let her go, gently sucking and kissing her pink lips, cautious yet with a hint of greed.

Then, her stomach churned. The intense bitterness had passed her throat, surging back up again, blending with the sweetness, becoming uncontrollable.

Qiao Mo pushed him away, leaning against the side of the bed and started to vomit.

All the dicine she had just drunk ca back up, and not a drop was swallowed.

Fu Nancheng paused briefly, then quickly poured her a glass of warm water, gently patting her back, and cleaned up the ss.

Qiao Mo went to the bathroom to rinse her mouth.

Even when he ca in, she didn’t turn around, her eyes slightly red.

Why does he always make her do things she doesn’t like?

After calming down for a while, Qiao Mo was about to leave when he reached out and pulled her back.

"I’m... sorry, I didn’t know you... I just wanted another child." He said softly.

He had always thought, if they had another child, a child that belonged to both of them, she might forgive him and they might beco like before.

Qiao Mo laughed lightly, her eyes tinged with bitterness, "Even if there was another, it wouldn’t be him."

He was at a loss for words.

Qiao Mo turned sideways, walking past him.

All these years, she couldn’t forget that child, perhaps because it was her first ti being a mother, perhaps she had invested too much emotion.
