"I want to go out." Qiao Mo insisted, her eyes red.

Fu Nancheng stayed silent with a stern face, his gaze growing colder.

Qiao Mo’s eyes landed on his desk, and she swept everything off it.

Instantly, the room echoed with the sound of objects clattering. Her costics, along with the water cup, calendar, and even the cactus plant, all fell to the ground, shattered into pieces, creating a scene of chaos.

As if it wasn’t enough, Qiao Mo turned to the sofa and smashed the fruit plate on the coffee table.

On what grounds was he stopping her?

She clearly wasn’t the girl she used to be...

’Bang!’

The teapot and ashtray on the coffee table also crashed to the ground, the glass shards scattering everywhere, mixed with tea, docunts, and potting soil, in a complete ss.

Then, she seized the cushion on the sofa, about to toss it aside.

Suddenly, her wrist ached, and a trendous force threw her back onto the sofa.

Imdiately, he lood over her, gripping her chin tightly as he warned, "I’m in a bad mood today, you’d better behave."

Qiao Mo looked at the man in front of her with tearful eyes, eting his gaze, deep and hellish, her fingertips couldn’t help but tremble, and tears involuntarily stread down.

"I’m not her at all, how can you treat like this?" she choked out, feeling incredibly wronged.

His gaze faltered for a mont, a brief daze.

But soon, he suppressed the complexity in his eyes, coldly stood up.

Qiao Mo imdiately caught up and grabbed his arm, pleading with teary eyes, "Fu Nancheng... Jing Hao is dying... I just want to see him."

"Please let go see him..."

Tear drops, as big as beans, fell uncontrollably from her eyes. Qiao Mo clung to him with a trace of despair.

Seeing the tears on her face, his heart wrenched with pain.

A few seconds later, he slowly raised his large hand to pry her fingers off, one by one, and ruthlessly threw her onto the bed, saying rcilessly, "You’ll stay here today and you’re not going anywhere!"

And with that, before Qiao Mo could get up from the bed,

He walked away, and the bedroom door slamd shut with a ’bang’!

Qiao Mo sat up from the bed, tears in her eyes, her entire small face deathly pale.

Why wasn’t she allowed to go... what right did he have...

"Wah..." Qiao Mo sat on the bed, hugging her knees, bawling helplessly.

When she thought of Jiang Jinghao lying in the operating room, of how he was gravely injured last ti, yet she hadn’t even looked at him, of everything that had happened before, she loathed herself.

Would all this not have happened if it weren’t for her?

Just then, the phone rang inappropriately. Qiao Mo, with reddened eyes, picked up the phone and saw it was Xie Qinghuan.

Hesitating for a mont, she wiped her tears and answered the call again.

"Qinghuan... how is he? How is Jing Hao?" Qiao Mo asked urgently, both hands clenched tightly, fearing any bad news.

"He was just taken into the operating room. I just wanted to tell you... the surgery requires a family’s signature... should I inform Aunt Feng?"

At this mont, Xie Qinghuan was also a bit hesitant. She had been friends with Jiang Jinghao for several years and knew that Mrs. Jiang, Feng Lan, had always been in poor health, so ever since Jiang Jinghao’s accident, she hadn’t dared to tell her, fearing she couldn’t handle it.

But now, with a signature needed for the surgery, she didn’t dare to make the decision lightly.
