Yu Xiaoqin clung tightly to Shen Tingting, her voice raised a few notches.
Nurous eyes from the people around them fell upon the pair, making Shen Tingting’s expression hard to maintain.
"Xiao Qin, why are you grabbing like this?" Shen Tingting spoke softly, her eyes wide like she was startled.
As she spoke, Qiao Mo saw Shen Tingting lean in close to Yu Xiaoqin and whisper sothing. Because the voice was too low, she couldn’t make out what was said, but from their expressions, it seed Shen Tingting was threatening Yu Xiaoqin.
Coldly prying Yu Xiaoqin’s hand away, Shen Tingting said again: "Let go."
"Tingting... I’m begging you! Three days... Just three days!" In desperation, Yu Xiaoqin’s pitch rose high, even kneeling on the ground and clutching at her skirt hem, attracting even more gazes, with so people even stopping to watch.
"Fine, fine, just three days. Then I’ll give you three more days! If Qiao Mo hasn’t left the school by then, you can get the hell out of here yourself!"
Shen Tingting yanked her skirt back and left quickly without looking back.
Yu Xiaoqin’s face darkened bit by bit, her head drooping in dispirited defeat.
Soon, a pair of flats slowly appeared in her sight.
She looked up and imdiately saw Qiao Mo’s bright face, her expression instantly turning vicious as she gritted her teeth and said: "Qiao Mo!!!"
"Aren’t you going to stand up?"
Yu Xiaoqin sprang up, her gaze still incredibly vicious, as if Qiao Mo was her sworn enemy: "Why are you here? If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have had to kneel down and beg Shen Tingting. Are you satisfied now?"
Qiao Mo chuckled softly, speaking lightly: "Yu Xiaoqin, why don’t you think about it? I’m not the one trying to drive you out of the school; and even if I did, what benefit would that bring ?"
Yu Xiaoqin was montarily speechless, and Qiao Mo continued: "The horse farm incident, was it you?"
"You... I don’t know what you’re talking about!"
"Shen Tingting has always used you as a pawn, can’t you see?" Qiao Mo spoke again, pausing for a mont before continuing: "Have you ever thought about it, once the drugging incident gets uncovered, you’ll have to face legal ramifications... One year? Two years... or even three to five years?"
Yu Xiaoqin’s face turned a few shades paler, as Qiao Mo stepped closer, curling her lips as she spoke again: "Do you know, at that point, your whole life will be ruined."
"You... You’re talking nonsense... I didn’t do it!"
Qiao Mo chuckled lightly: "You know clearly whether you did it or not. I just want to tell you, once you’ve spent a few years in prison, no matter how much power you gain, it’ll all be in vain, aiding others without getting anything in return."
Yu Xiaoqin swallowed hard, looking uneasily at Qiao Mo, not understanding why she was saying these things to her.
"Yu Xiaoqin, have you never considered your own future?"
"Although Shen Tingting likes to play tricks and manipulate, she has absolute strength in design. Moreover, haven’t you noticed Shen Tingting rarely does these things herself? Why do you think..."
Qiao Mo stepped closer, and Yu Xiaoqin retreated uneasily step by step, her breathing growing heavier, seeming particularly tense.
