The head coaches of both teams expressed their confidence ahead of the match.

For Antonio Conte, his belief in his players was unwavering.

After their intense battle with Liverpool, Conte felt his players were more confident going into the ga against Swansea.

"There is no doubt that tonight, every Chelsea player will perform well," Conte declared.

On the other side, Swansea coach Paul Clent was equally optimistic.

Although Swansea’s squad strength could not match Chelsea’s lineup, Clent had reason to be confident.

Swansea had rested during their previous match, while Chelsea were juggling a packed schedule of three gas a week.

From a physical standpoint, Swansea’s players had the upper hand.

"In terms of fitness, we have an absolute advantage," Clent stated.

"Chelsea has incredible individual players and won multiple championships last season, including the Premier League title. Beating a team like this won’t be easy, but I believe every Swansea player will give their all tonight at Stamford Bridge."
