Though Yuuki had given Jiro and the others a great deal in return, and their actions had been partly to repay that debt, for Yuuki, it was enough.
Understanding their connection, Wolf King Guinness made an imdiate decision—he would remain here. His intention was crystal clear: since this human was important to Jiro, he would offer his protection.
Yuuki found this developnt both surprising and fortuitous. Once he began preparing GOD, the ingredient would gradually mature rather than reaching instant completion. Other creatures might attempt to steal bites during this vulnerable period.
He didn't want GOD to be stolen by so random beast. Having the Wolf King stand guard was an excellent solution.
The two continued their unique form of communication.
Although Guinness held the prestigious title of Eight King, Yuuki's power dwarfed his considerably. Two Eight Kings had already fallen to Yuuki's hands.
No matter how proud Guinness was, it wouldn't show it in front of Yuuki.
