Yuuki's culinary skills were imnse, even surpassing Setsuno's. Combined with his ability to hear the voice of the ingredients, his speed was in a different league from Komatsu's.

"THE FINAL CUT!"

Gazing at AIR—Yuuki made his last slice.

In the next instant—a torrent of air erupted from the cavity, and Yuuki flashed out of the hole he had created. Propelled by the sheer force of the released air, the massive fruit tore free from the tree and crashed to the ground.

But the preparation was already complete—there was no longer any risk of it rotting upon impact.

An endless river of air gushed from the opening Yuuki had carved, surging straight up towards the clouds blanketing the Eighth Continent.

The volu of air contained within AIR was astronomical.

Even though the Horse King needed a hundred tis its normal intake to give birth, this single release was more than enough to satisfy it—with plenty to spare.

In fact, what the Horse King could absorb was only a minuscule fraction of the total. The amount of air held within AIR was ridiculous.

In a single mont, the clouds that had perpetually shrouded the Eighth Continent were blown away. Sunlight stread down, bathing the entire landmass in its brilliant glow.

The Continent of Rain had instantly beco the Continent of No Clouds.

....

"The clouds are gone... The records of the Hex Food World ntion this. It only happens when the preparation of AIR fails. So... did they fail?"

Back in the Hex Food World, the Daruma Hermit stared at the sky, completely baffled.

His reaction was the sa as in the original story, but this ti—the first-generation lk wasn't there to explain things to him. He was busy dealing with the rampaging beasts.

....

On Nightmare Hill, the Horse King and Jiro, who had been in a standoff, both turned their gazes towards the Slow Rain Hills where the air had erupted.

Heracles knew this was its chance. Such a massive volu of air was enough for it to birth a healthy heir—an heir that would succeed it as the new king of the Eighth Continent.

In an instant, a colossal amount of air was absorbed by the Horse King.

Normally, a single breath from Heracles would thin the atmosphere of the Eighth Continent. If not for the Air Trees replenishing it, the Horse King could have sucked the entire continent dry just by breathing.

But now, it was inhaling a hundred tis its usual amount—and yet the air supply of the Eighth Continent remained abundant.

For the Horse King, this was a mont of pure bliss. It could finally breathe without restraint.

The absorbed air was rapidly converted into nutrients for the fetus within its body.

"Satisfied, Heracles? Then I won't play with you any longer."

With that, Jiro turned and headed for the Slow Rain Hills.

As for the Horse King, though it knew it owed Yuuki and the others a debt, it didn't imdiately seek them out. It needed to concentrate on giving birth to its child.

....

"So this is the finished Gourt King, AIR... ITS PRESENCE IS SO STRONG, YOU CAN'T EVEN LOOK AWAY!"

The group stared at the massive fruit before them. The ingredient's presence was overwhelming. Even if they wanted to look away—they couldn't. It was as if their eyes were glued to it.

Looking at AIR, Yuuki cut off a large portion. This was the part he intended to keep. As for the rest, a portion would be for the Human World—and the remainder for the Hex Food World.

After all, the people of the Hex Food World had contributed to this effort. This portion of AIR was more than enough for them.

"This part is for you and the Human World to share. It's enough to feed everyone in the Hex Food World."

As Yuuki finished speaking, Jiro arrived.

....

"Oh, that looks like a great snack to go with my drinks!"

Jiro said, eyeing AIR. He truly saw it as just another bar snack.

"AIR has a texture similar to at, so it would work as a snack. But finding a drink that can pair with it might be a bit difficult."

Yuuki remarked.

Of course, you could eat AIR as a snack, but its flavor was so overpowering that it would completely mask the taste of any liquor. At that point, the drink wouldn't even qualify as a side dish.

"That's true. It is part of the Acacia's Full Course nu, after all."

Jiro nodded.

After that, Yuuki stored the remaining piece of AIR. It wasn't that he didn't plan to share it, but he intended to do so back in the Hex Food World.

In the original story, because lk had told the Daruma Hermit that the preparation of AIR was a success, and because the released air had cleared the clouds—making the Heavy Rain Zone safe, the people of the Hex Food World had been able to co.

But now, the Daruma Hermit still thought the preparation had failed.

So, he hadn't brought anyone over. The group could only bring the ingredients back themselves.

....

Just as they were about to return, a series of rainbows suddenly appeared across the Eighth Continent. These rainbows were not illusions—they were tangible.

And in the next second, the sound of hoofbeats echoed. This sound affected everyone except for Jiro and Yuuki. The hoofbeats seed to sound directly in their minds. It was an incredibly unique sound.

"Hoofbeats? Why do they sound so strange, so clear—and so... soul-shaking!"

Brunch asked, completely baffled.

"This is the Horse King's Answer. It only exists in legends. It ans a new Horse King has been born."

Jiro explained.

The Horse King had been pregnant before, but it needed enough nutrients to give birth successfully. Yuuki had provided those nutrients, and now, a new Horse King was born.

The birth of a new Horse King ant it was destined to beco the new ruler. This could be considered a tradition of the Eighth Continent. As long as it didn't die prematurely—a Phantom Beast Heracles born under these conditions would inevitably beco the Horse King.

That's why the Horse King's Answer existed.

As a king by birthright, it needed to respond, to announce its arrival to the world.

....

Soon, a horse appeared in their line of sight. It was running on the rainbows, its hoofbeats echoing across the entire globe.

"IS THAT A PHANTOM BEAST HERACLES? IT'S HUGE!"

Mappy asked, completely baffled.

There were Phantom Beast Heracles in the Hex Food World as well. The reason the Hex Food World had the Horse King's protection was because they helped the giant horses take care of their young.

Among them were malnourished Heracles foals. But in their impression—a newborn Heracles foal should be very small.

In the Gourt Corp, soone had even fused their body with that of a Heracles foal.

But the one that appeared before them now was as large as a Regal Mammoth. Even though it was just born, it was already a kiloter-class beast.

"It must be because it had enough nutrition. In the past, the Horse King never had enough air to give birth—so the offspring were very weak. But this one was born with ample nutrition."

Dinner said, looking at the small Horse King running.

Hearing this, the group nodded. Indeed, that was the only explanation.

After seeing the little Horse King, the group headed for the Hex Food World. They still had to deliver the ingredients and have a taste.

....

"THOSE HOOFBEATS... COULD THEY BE THE LEGENDARY HORSE KING'S ANSWER? WHAT'S GOING ON? DID THE PREPARATION OF AIR FAIL? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE."

Back in the Human World, at the Setsuno Diner, Setsuno was listening to the sound with confusion. There was no doubt that this was the legendary Horse King's Answer.

But the appearance of this sound ant a new Horse King had been born. And she knew how harsh the conditions were for the birth of a new Horse King.

The Horse King's appetite was too astonishing.

Usually, it was impossible to nurture a healthy heir. Only by absorbing the air released from AIR could it be done.

But if AIR released air... it ant the preparation had failed.

After all, the preparation thod Setsuno and the others knew was from the Red Nitro. The Red Nitro couldn't hear the Voice of the Ingredients—so they could only research their own thods.

Not only Setsuno, but even President Ichiryu and the others were very surprised, thinking that the preparation had failed this ti.

....

"President, the preparation of AIR has failed. What should we do now?"

Mansam asked, completely baffled.

AIR was a crucial link. Once its preparation failed, then there was no second AIR for them to prepare. Although there were many small AIRs on the Sixth Continent—those AIRs couldn't compare to the original.

So, if any of the eight ingredients had a problem, it would be quite troubleso.

"We don't need to think so much now. If the preparation of AIR has failed, then we'll go prepare other ingredients. It's just that the other ingredients can't fail again."

Ichiryu didn't have much of a reaction. While he felt it was a pity—he didn't think that losing one ingredient would cause the entire plan to collapse.

In fact, Ichiryu's thinking was also correct, because his strength was strong enough. To deal with Acacia, he only needed a few ingredients.

So, losing one was still acceptable.

....

anwhile, in the Gourt World, the Blue Nitros on the First Continent were also a bit baffled.

"This... it failed? The chefs of this generation in the Human World really aren't up to par!"

The Blue Nitros thought that the preparation had failed. After all, success would not have such a commotion.

"What a waste of good ingredients."

One of the Blue Nitros said with so disdain.

"Forget it—don't worry about it. Acacia's condition has stabilized for now. We still need to secure the other ingredients. While they're not much use to us anymore, we absolutely can't let humans get their hands on them."

The Blue Nitros at this ti made a decision, and that was to go capture other ingredients. Though they had eaten them who knew how many tis, these ingredients could not be left to the enemy.
