After leaving lk Mountain, Yuuki returned to Gourt Town. He was staying at Granny Setsuno’s place for the ti being and needed to report back to her about the situation with the two lks.
"You’re back. How was the harvest this ti? And what’s the situation with the second-generation lk?"
When Yuuki found her, Setsuno knew he must have completed his training in the Heavy Hole. While it was impossible to reach the master level of Enbu in such a short ti there—the gravity in the Heavy Hole exceeded one hundred Gs. For him to have returned, he must have fully adapted to it. To do so in such a brief period was astounding.
Fortunately, Setsuno was already well aware of how terrifyingly fast Yuuki could learn, so his quick return didn’t leave her completely shocked.
"The harvest was imnse. But first, let tell you about the first and second-generation lks..."
Yuuki recounted the whole story. After he finished, even Setsuno was left speechless. Nono’s eyes went wide.

Nono didn’t know how to describe the two of them. But on second thought, it was understandable.
After all, no one else lived on lk Mountain.

"It was forged from the fossilized Fang of the Dragon King, after all. And lk II’s skill is indeed exceptional. She’s a genius among geniuses when it cos to sharpening."
Yuuki remarked that lk II was practically born to forge knives. In terms of sharpening talent, probably only a cheat-player like himself could surpass her.

And in the end, he had even mined its hardest part, the fang.

After examining Yuuki’s knife, Setsuno and Nono looked at the lk Stardust he had brought back. Besides the powder he and lk II had created from sharpening, he had also brought back so of the raw whetstones for her.
He didn’t believe for a second that Setsuno hadn’t mastered sharpening techniques. She had lived for over five hundred years; the saying "Wise with Age" wasn’t just an empty phrase.
As a chef herself, she would need to maintain her own knives. She couldn’t always be running to a sharpener. So, Setsuno would naturally have a need for the lk Stardust.

Yuuki handed the lk Stardust over to her. He had already kept his own share, and now that he had mastered the sharpening techniques, he could make his own powder later.
Unfortunately, the lk Stardust was only an all-purpose seasoning ant to enhance the flavor and effect of food. Eating it alone wouldn’t rapidly increase his Gourt Cell level.
"Since you’re back, you should stay here for a few days. Jiro is planning a trip to the Cavern Lagoon and wants you to go with him. He thought you wouldn’t be back from lk Mountain in ti." Setsuno said.
"Cavern Lagoon? Is it already ti for the Puffer Whales to spawn? But why would Master Jiro invite ?" Yuuki asked.
The Puffer Whales spawning in Cavern Lagoon ant that the main storyline had already begun while he was away.
But what surprised him more was Jiro’s invitation. He didn’t know what Jiro was planning.
While the Puffer Whale was a fine ingredient—and it only spawned once every ten years in the shallows, it wasn’t exceedingly rare. For normal people and weaker Gourt Hunters, it was a once-in-a-decade treasure.
But for powerful beings, Puffer Whales could be captured at any ti. After spawning, they simply returned to the deep sea; they didn’t just die.
So, anyone with enough strength could capture them in the deep sea.
And besides the deep sea, Puffer Whales could also be found elsewhere. For one, they existed in the rivers of the forr Biotope 1.
There was no need to invite him just for Puffer Whales.

In the original story, even Toriko could use Knocking on Puffer Whales. As long as you mastered Life Erase and the basics of Knocking, it wasn’t that difficult.
With his current abilities, it would be no challenge at all, so there was no need for practice.
"Of course, there’s sothing special. It’s normal that you don’t know. It has to do with the formation of Cavern Lagoon."
"Cavern Lagoon has existed for a very long ti. The reason for its existence is that a Primordial Devil Serpent wandered into the Human World, was killed by a powerhouse, and died there."

After Setsuno explained the situation, Yuuki was quite surprised. The original story never detailed the depths of Cavern Lagoon. After all, Toriko and the others were only after the Puffer Whale. In the story, they only encountered two Devil Serpents. One they killed, and the other, more powerful one, was knocked by Jiro.
The Devil Serpent didn’t seem to have a high capture level, only around 20-sothing. But later in the story, in the Gourt World, a Primordial Devil Serpent appeared and even participated in the battle against Acacia.
That Primordial Devil Serpent had a capture level of over 5,000. Looking back at the ones in the Human World, with a level of only 20-sothing... the gap was beyond astronomical.
These Devil Serpents evolved from the blood of a Primordial. Yuuki never expected that the depths of Cavern Lagoon would hide so many powerful ones.
It just went to show how big this world was. You couldn’t think you knew everything just because you’d read part of the story.
The plot only revealed important information. The finer details would never be fully shown in the manga.
Hearing Setsuno’s explanation, Yuuki agreed without hesitation. Although even a near-level-100 Devil Serpent posed no threat to him, when it ca to Knocking, having a master like Jiro there to guide him would be the fastest way to improve.
It was much better than fumbling around on his own.

Just like that, Yuuki waited at Setsuno Dining Hall for a few days. On the day of the Puffer Whale capture, Jiro ca to find him.
This ti, however, he was no longer disguised as a little old man but was in the form of a burly, middle-aged man.
"Looks like you’re ready. Let’s go!"
Seeing that Yuuki was prepared, the two of them set off. This ti, since they weren’t in a hurry, they decided to take the train.
After they boarded, Jiro intended to order so drinks, only to find that all the alcohol on the train had been bought out.
Hearing the attendant’s explanation, Yuuki knew it had to be Toriko’s doing. Toriko was a man who knew how to share, but he was also a glutton.
They had boarded after him, and he had already cornered the market on all the alcohol.
"What a greedy young man. But that’s right, the kids Ichiryu raised... every one of them has imnse potential in their Gourt Cells!"
Jiro naturally recognized who it was: one of the Four Heavenly Kings, Toriko.
Though the Four Heavenly Kings weren’t that strong right now, the potential of their Gourt Cells was frighteningly high. Especially Toriko’s. Even if no one had discovered the Blue and White Demons within him, just the Red Demon alone was ranked number one overall in the Red Universe.
With that kind of potential, it was impossible for Jiro not to rember these kids.
When the two of them found Toriko and Komatsu, Toriko was talking with a very familiar figure.
