In the culvert, Chen Xu summoned another bout of rain.
The fine rain fell over the magnificent world of ice and snow, and Chen Xu ended this transmission of magic at this mont.
The Little Snow Spirit danced and shouted in the rain, even using her snow-like hands to cup the rainwater and drink it.
She tilted her head back and said in intoxication, "So sweet... really sweet, I like eating it. Brother Chen, why don’t you stay here and make rain for to eat every day?
The snow here, you can eat too."

Chen Xu smiled gently and said, "Teaching soone to fish is better than giving them fish, didn’t you want to learn magic? Have you learned it now?
How about I trade you this water spell for so of last year’s snow?"
The Little Snow Spirit laughed crisply in the drizzle and said, "You promised that all the snow here is yours to eat, yay yay yay, hehe..."
Chen Xu was not greedy; he simply brought his right hand’s fingers together and gently pointed into the air, extracting a pile from the snow mounds at the cave entrance.
Hundred-year snow, thousand-year snow, ten-thousand-year snow... each bundle looked as large as a millstone.
It seed quite a lot, but compared to the entire pile, it was actually nothing much.
It was only last year’s snow that Chen Xu took more of, the lted snow roughly filling a bucket.
He remotely stored all the snow into the Fire and Smoke Kitchen, and the Little Snow Spirit tilted her head, watching him.
Chen Xu cupped his hands in a smile to her and said, "eting today is truly a strange fate. Snow Spirit friend is gathered from the snow of this mountain, but I must head towards the human world.
This is a parting, hoping to et again one day, if fate allows."
The Little Snow Spirit understood so of what he said, revealing slight hesitation on her face.
She wanted to say sothing more, but Chen Xu, with a wicker basket on his back and a Spirit Garden Pouch on his waist, suddenly took a step into the Netherworld.
Using Netherworld as a path!
His figure imdiately vanished from this strange and magnificent snow cave.
The Little Snow Spirit was stunned for a mont before she realized sothing and rushed towards where the celestial light fell in the snow cave.
There, celestial light poured down, with a huge opening in the cave ceiling, connecting it to the changes of the outside world.
The Little Snow Spirit scread "yay yay" several tis, leaping instantly out of the giant cave like a snow mist.
She shouted, "Brother Chen... yay yay yay!"
The tone was lancholic and confused, with a hint of sobs in her voice.
Chen Xu appeared in her life for just a mont, yet this brief encounter seed to add countless colors.
She wished Chen Xu could stay by her side, not wanting him to disappear into the snow like the others.
"Yay yay, wuwu..." The Little Snow Spirit leaped out of the deep cave, standing halfway up the mountain, she didn’t cry, but she was very sad.
Halfway up the mountain, a waterfall roared with the sound of water.
The water roared around the cold pool, and the place where the Little Snow Spirit stood was on the west side of the cold pool.
On the east side, a deer and a rabbit demon were carefully picking Jade Needle Grass.
Although all the accompanying sword insects of the Jade Needle Grass were gone, the two little demons still picked the Spirit Grass very carefully and slowly.
This was because the Jade Needle Grass itself also held traces of sword energy like sharp needles, and the two little demons had low mana, naturally needing to be extra cautious.
They picked slowly, worrying anwhile about Chen Xu who went to the peak.
The two demons were discussing: "That person went to Jade Cold Peak. What if he ets... that one, what should we do then?"
The "that one" they ntioned was naturally the Snow Spirit who had guarded the peak for years.
The two little demons didn’t even dare to ntion the Snow Spirit by na, because wherever the Snow Spirit went, everything within a hundred feet could be frozen.
The biting cold contained within was not sothing ordinary mountain beasts could withstand, not even little demons with certain magical powers.
The two demons were grateful that Chen Xu didn’t take all the Jade Needle Grass, leaving so behind, so they naturally worried about him now.
Unexpectedly, as they were speaking, they suddenly felt a bone-chilling cold overtake them.
The Rabbit Demon shivered and hurriedly looked back, and upon seeing, it imdiately jumped up: "Ah ah ah! It’s... it’s the Snow Lady, run, Sister Lu, run!"
The Rabbit Demon moved swiftly, as the saying goes, "move like a rabbit", using a rabbit’s agility to describe soone’s swiftness.
The little Rabbit Demon had already leapt dozens of feet away in an instant from the mont it saw the Snow Spirit.
Then the Sika Deer reacted as well, shouting in fright: "Ah—"
In no ti, the rabbit was running and the deer was leaping.
The Sika Deer moved that swiftly too, sprinting and leaping with all its strength to catch up with the white rabbit ahead.
For a mont, the air seed to hold its afterimage.
Yet even at such a fast pace, it dared not relax a bit.
Three clumps of Jade Needle Grass remained by the cold pool, and the two demons had no mind to keep picking them.
They simply fled as if their lives depended on it, wanting only to distance themselves from the cold aura behind them as far as possible.
It wasn’t until they couldn’t feel the presence of the cold anymore that they dared to pause for a breath.
The white rabbit fell to the ground in exhaustion, and the Sika Deer panted anxiously, clinging to the cliff while looking back.
But the snow spirit was no longer by the cold pool below the cliff.
The apparition of the snow spirit seed like a dream, appearing without warning and disappearing without a trace.
The white rabbit said with lingering fear: "The Snow Lady really ca to the cold pool, they say she sotis cos here, and it turns out to be true..."
The Sika Deer was also frightened, sighing:
"I’m afraid that person really went up Jade Cold Peak and alard the Snow Lady. The Snow Lady may have co to the cold pool for him.
I hope he wasn’t caught by the Snow Lady, or else he might turn into a snow sculpture."
The two little demons did not know that the Little Snow Spirit they saw was actually not the "Snow Lady" they spoke of.
That "Snow Lady" had long disappeared in the vast snowy peaks over the years. The Little Snow Spirit seen now could be considered just a young Snow Spirit.
The Little Snow Spirit naturally did not possess the sa powerful devastation as the Snow Lady.
Otherwise, Chen Xu climbing Jade Cold Peak and leaving unscathed would have been uncertain.
Most creatures in the Mystic Mountain Range knew the tales of the "Snow Lady", knowing that Jade Cold Peak was a forbidden place and should not be easily trespassed.
The Sika Deer and white rabbit could never have guessed that Chen Xu not only went to Jade Cold Peak but also reached the bottom of the cold pool—
The snow-white cave that Chen Xu had visited with the Little Snow Spirit was actually the bottom of the cold pool.
Chen Xu leaving through the Netherworld was a stroke of genius.
In fact, if he had stayed in that cave a little longer, his ridians and Divine Soul might have risked being frostbitten.
Even though Chen Xu only stayed in the cave briefly before leaving through the Netherworld, he suddenly noticed sothing amiss.
When Chen Xu exited the Netherworld, he appeared in a small valley thirty miles away from the cold pool.
He stepped from the dark Netherworld into the sunlight, suddenly shuddering.
